    For me CineBrass Core & Pro Sound Pretty good for me, They are Clean and much close to the real Sound of the instrument.

      Agreed - CineBrass Core and Pro are my favourites as well!
      I was also surprised by how well the Trumpets from THB handled the short notes, as I'm usually not a big fan of them.

    Jaeger had a really nice mix of bite and warmth. Good to know! Thanks for this.

    Im totally torn between Berlin Brass and Tom Holkenborg's Brass. If you ever get Berlin Id very much like to hear a direct comparison like this one. You clearly have the best comparison channel on TH-cam that Ive come across by far!

      Thank you for your kind words!
      I will keep the request in mind, but be warned that this may take quite a while as part of my new year's resolution for 2023 is not to buy any new music production equipment (libraries, hardware etc.) until November, which is when I'll get a major studio upgrade. That said, maybe I still can provide some advice:
      First of all, keep in mind that no one is forcing you to comit to either one or the other - both libraries are on SINE, which means you can buy individual patches. They were also recorded in the same space, so they should blend fairly well. In terms of a general comparison between the two I'd say THB has larger sections and a more epic sound, while BB allows for more detailed divisi writing - which one is right for you therefore depends on your writing style. It is worth mentioning that THB can also go very quiet, so it's not only suited for loud epic music, but the large ensembles of course remain large, regardless of the dynamics. (If you want to hear a soft, full brass passage done with THB, check out my recent mockup of the opening from "This is Berk" - the brass at the beginning is all THB.)
      If you choose to go this route and combine the two, here are my favourite patches from THB that you should not miss out on: Horns a6, Tenor Trombones a6 and Bass Trombones a3. Especially the Trombones from THB are just out of this world. That said, THB's trumpets are probably its weak spot, so I'd advise you to go with BB for them.
      I hope this helps - let me know if you have any specific questions or want to hear a particular instrument from THB!

      @@c-c-laurin-lenschow wow, thanks so much for your detailed answer! And I agree to 120% about the THB Bones, they sound incredible. I’ve also noticed that the trombones in Berlin has a weird distorted sound in the higher dynamics on sustains. But from what I’ve heard, not everyone is experiencing this. So it might be because of the SINE integration.
      So the selling points for Berlin is essentially the trumpets, and also the divisi patches. If you play triad chords on the THB 4 horns you’ll pretty much have 12 horns at all times. (And stacking the same solo horn sounds quite fake I’d say).
      So maybe I should opt for THB for the overall sound and then get Berlin whenever it goes on sale… these are pricey but probably worth the investment I feel

      @@The_Rock_That_Floats You're welcome!
      Yeah, BB's Kontakt version may be the safer bet, although I believe it doesn't have the extra top dynamic layer they recorded for the SINE version.
      The next sale on Berlin Brass could be around Black Friday, which is quite the wait but it's also a very expensive library. For THB there hasn't been a regular sales pattern so far, but it's at least going to be on sale when Tom Holkenborg's Strings come out (not announced yet, but I'd bet quite a bit of money they are working on it). Are you eligible for OT's EDU discount? That way you could get them at 40% off whenever you want.

      @@c-c-laurin-lenschow I currently study at a University, so I should be eligible. I just have to check if I’m able to buy the bundle with TH Percussion along with it, it’s very tempting haha. So it’d be around €509 for the entire bundle.
      And during Black Friday I hope they’ll do something similar to what they did with the Ark Series last year (so basically 50% off the Berlin series). If that’s the case I might get the entire thing just to have the woodwinds as well. The strings and percs are just a very nice bonus.

      @c-c-laurin-lenschow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@The_Rock_That_Floats That sounds good! I believe the Berlin series has at least twice been discounted by 50% around Black Friday in the past, so there should be a decent chance of it happening again. That said, I'd advise you to look more into the differences between the Kontakt and the SINE version of the woodwinds before you pull the trigger. Essentially there's the legacy version and the revive version - the Kontakt library has both of them, SINE is only revive as far as I'm aware. The legacy version is generally more popular and you wouldn't get access to it if you bought the SINE version... maybe I'll make a quick comparison video between legacy and revive if you're interested!

    I would have loved if you added Cinematic Studio Brass, still, a great video

      @c-m-laurin-lenschow ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would have loved that too, but unfortunately I don't own this library (yet). That said, I'll probably get Infinite Brass this Black Friday and I am considering other brass libraries as well (Berlin Brass, Modern Scoring Brass, Cinematic Studio Brass and Century Brass), so I may upload an updated version of this video with more brass libraries at some point in the future. That's going to take a while though :)
      Edit: I just realised I responded using the wrong account - don't get confused, it's still me xD
