I woke up and realized that Surplus was the way to go after I got a couple of chest rigs that the name brand that are on the expensive side but then I realize that for what I paid for one name brand I could almost get two Surplus rigs as long I did my research and looked to sales and discount codes for stuff from Eagle which is one of my favorite companies and now I pretty much have a rig setup for each one of my rifles at the ready at all times. I recently pickup the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 so I am in the process of setting up a USMC TAP Chest Rig but for Shotgun work and it is coming along very well and WAY Under the price of an Original SOE MiniRig with 10 times the capabilities at less than half the price!
Holy shit, this is the exact set up I run. I actually bought one of those jackets a few years ago for like 20 bucks from a flea market. If you check the tag, they’re literally made by the same company that makes the ORC PCU that’s like 300-400 dollars. They are literally the same brand and quality, just ones grey with Velcro. And +1 for how hard these MPCRs fuck. Specifically bought mine so I could switch between an AK and AR on the fly. And the front zip is super underrated.
Going to pick one up here in a bit, they might be "old" and a different style from what's popular today, but they really do work very well. Plus, I can toss soft armor into the rig with my plates and make it very comfortable!

I'm trying to get a bolt action riffle kit together due to physical condition I'm much more useful with my 308 bolt gun. Need help transition from hunter to someone of use in the future world lol
Lol. I'm not big on their weapon lights except for the pl mini and mini 2. I have 5 different Olight flashlights and no issues. I still have my first one and it is over 7 yrs old. I use Powertac as well

Setting up an AR10 in 308 might be a good idea. I’ll have a video on the Aero M5 I built soon.
Saw one and found an A-TAP rig for less at the time. Got my filbe ruck and assault pack from Venture. They're pretty based.
