I think this was a great video, good advice. All your opinion and stuff for you. Before commenting I read the comments and was surprised at the shit people say. Great video just remember your bag may have different stuff based on your environment like I live in SW Florida on the gulf so I’m going to have different stuff then him for example I’m using a aqua quest hooped bivy because well lots of rain bugs snakes fire ants and of course mosquitos so just tailor yours to your needs and environment. My bag is huge but I can be a 100+ miles on any given day from my front door so

Nice build. Personally I like the BA 13.9 Hansen barrels with a P&W muzzle device (they come with a pinned gas block and on sale are really inexpensive). Still pretty short but great velocity and a very soft shooting barrel that makes accurate follow-up shots a breeze.

You are 100% correct! I woke up and realized that Surplus was the way to go after I got a couple of chest rigs that the name brand that are on the expensive side but then I realize that for what I paid for one name brand I could almost get two Surplus rigs as long I did my research and looked to sales and discount codes for stuff from Eagle which is one of my favorite companies and now I pretty much have a rig setup for each one of my rifles at the ready at all times. I recently pickup the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2 so I am in the process of setting up a USMC TAP Chest Rig but for Shotgun work and it is coming along very well and WAY Under the price of an Original SOE MiniRig with 10 times the capabilities at less than half the price!

Out pf a 12.5" barrel, even M855 is going faster than 2800 fos. Pretty sure that M193 55 grain is pushing 2900 fps

Honestly if shit goes down I don’t think it’ll matter if your bag is camo, black, blue, gray, or pink. People are going to see a bag with stuff in it and they’re going to want it. Now if you have a bag with a bunch of pouches and stuff hanging off of it, yea that’s dumb.

I got the same older version but in black. Literally same mindset for around the house or in the car. Easy storage, quick access, quick deployment for a rifle. I just bought the AK47 one.

Good setup just a little to much gear for my bag since i plan for 25 miles. That said i keep extra gear in vehicle for longer range. I use a sling bag for my gear as it works good on a motorcycle.

Note , if you use Magpul mags and load your own , pay attention to the col.

It sucks but in most states if not all you will be charged for cuffing him. That's why guys say not to carry them, or if you get stopped with the kit they will think you are up to no good. In my state cuffs are actually illegal, what a joke right?

Awesome video, Aero makes good stuff and I have built a bunch of setups using their parts. I would say my GPR rifle is a 13.9inch Ballistic Advantage with an Aero upper/lower. I run an Acog on it and I can attach my can to it is well. As far as handguards go, check out STNGRUSA.

The muzzle device and gas tube come off before removal of the barrel nut. doing it like you did at 4:54 is a fantastic way to damage your gas block, which can be averted entirely by doing it in the right order.

Nice kit, but honestly, you shouldn’t drink out of a container you completely ‘dunked’ (your words)because the contaminants are still on-hand outside, the opening that you used to fill, and more importantly, the port that will be touching your mouth if you don’t sterilize those surfaces before drinking thru your filter.
