Can you please tell me how the texture of the cerakote on blade the feels. Is it smooth like the black, and grey versions. Or does it have some texture to it? No one has addressed this. I really don't want a smooth finish. I would like to have a bit of texture to the cerakote.
Thank you for watching and commenting. There is texture to the blade on the SMKW Exclusive Bugout. It's not a lot of texture, but it's note completely smooth like my BladeHQ Bugout.
Thank you for watching and commenting. The SMKW Bugout in this video has the same G10 scales as the BladeHQ Bugout you have. I think both knives feel solid enough for any EDC task I do on a regular basis and I am very happy with both knives. However, I did recently acquire the Bailout with a similar color scheme that does have the Aluminum handles. The Bailout does feel a little more solid with slightly better grip texture, but I have yet to use it in a cold environment. I have yet to handle a Bugout with GRN polymer, but I have heard those are the scales that do not feel up to the task for harder use. Either way, the G10 Bugout or Aluminum Bailout work great for me!
@@chadk3198 Did you get the black blade or the grey blade? Mine is the grey blade. It's very hard to tell the difference between the two, so I highly doubt I get the black blade too, but both are great. I really like the look of the upcoming aluminum handled Bugout with the magenta thumb studs and barrel spacers.
I picked up the same knife three weeks ago. Stiff as a broom new. It is perfect now after playing with it everyday. Good review.
