@@jamesd4923 Yeah, unfortunately most of them got that smile when they did the custom grinds. I’ve seen photos of about 30 of the 50 knives they gave the hollow to, and only 2 didn’t get that smile.

haha, just in time for the production version! I'm also not great with thumb flicking on certain kinds of hole openings. After I got the ZT 0545 (with its flat weave CF), I thought I was done with weave CF but the contouring really changes the story a TON.

Yeah, I intended to do this review a week or two ago, but I’ve been dealing with some ankle/ knee issues that delayed testing and I wanted to make sure I could actually stand for 15 minute straight to film a video. Yeah the CF on these really pops! It’s definitely an A knife!

Good feature (just going back through a couple of your older vids)! Nice Tempest collection. I didn’t grab a Pinion in time (was just getting into things when they were available). The design language is unmistakeable and KC is a great dude!
Thanks for checking out my video! KC is indeed a great guy, and I really dig his design aesthetic. The Pinion and Microburst are both excellent budget knives. I'm glad he's moving into a more premium territory though, as the Jetstream and Fractus are more in the territory of what I usually carry on a daily basis. I can't wait to see the two new designs he's announced!

It's practically a clone of a White River M1 Backpacker.
Thank you for watching my video and commenting. I haven't handled the Backpacker so I cannot say for certain, but I pulled the Backpacker up on DLT and there appear to be multiple significant differences. The Backpacker is a 7" knife with a 3" blade, while the Bloom is a 5.5" knife with a 2.5" blade. Additionally, the Backpacker is more of a drop point, while the Bloom is a true spear point. Lastly, there are significant differences in the handles. I do see similarities, but definitely not a clone.

Which do you prefer the kizer mini or the elementum???
I like both knives a lot, but I'd give the overall edge to the Latt Vind Mini, mostly because I think the contoured scales are more comfortable in hand.
Do you have any opinion on how these compare to the elementum or exarch??
I don't have an Exarch to compare them against, but I do have an Elementum. Both are very comparable and I like both knives a lot. Comparing elements where each knife is better would take a video, but I'd say I give the slight overall edge to the Latt Vind Mini. You can't go wrong with either one though.
Can you please tell me how the texture of the cerakote on blade the feels. Is it smooth like the black, and grey versions. Or does it have some texture to it? No one has addressed this. I really don't want a smooth finish. I would like to have a bit of texture to the cerakote.
Thank you for watching and commenting. There is texture to the blade on the SMKW Exclusive Bugout. It's not a lot of texture, but it's note completely smooth like my BladeHQ Bugout.
I picked up the same knife three weeks ago. Stiff as a broom new. It is perfect now after playing with it everyday. Good review.

I just bought the mini but I wish they would make the mini with titanium frame lock I would definitely pay extra for that.

Thank you for watching and commenting. The SMKW Bugout in this video has the same G10 scales as the BladeHQ Bugout you have. I think both knives feel solid enough for any EDC task I do on a regular basis and I am very happy with both knives. However, I did recently acquire the Bailout with a similar color scheme that does have the Aluminum handles. The Bailout does feel a little more solid with slightly better grip texture, but I have yet to use it in a cold environment. I have yet to handle a Bugout with GRN polymer, but I have heard those are the scales that do not feel up to the task for harder use. Either way, the G10 Bugout or Aluminum Bailout work great for me!

@@chadk3198 Did you get the black blade or the grey blade? Mine is the grey blade. It's very hard to tell the difference between the two, so I highly doubt I get the black blade too, but both are great. I really like the look of the upcoming aluminum handled Bugout with the magenta thumb studs and barrel spacers.

Thanks for watching! I agree, there are definitely some more attractive colors than this version with orange scales and this is only the second orange knife in my collection. I'm still happy with what I got though, as I'm sure I can get my money back if I decide to sell it on eBay.

@@jayciethompson2290 I think you're going to like everything but the color of the handle. It's the most comfortable small knife I've ever handled, and has great ergos despite the size.

Turn you phone. Portrait sucks. Lol... the e book is junk and frankly an insult... the common stencils what the f. 5.56 is common and I am not marking my 5.56 as 223 my 5.56 loads are over the 223 max. So 55 for a gloves, knife and mag holder. I will definitely use those gloves bow hunting since they work well on my phone.

That survival e book is stupid. There’s nothing you wouldn’t find out by googling “prepping tips” $40 value lol $10 gloves $10 knife $25 mag carrier, $20 stencils. Who would pay $20 for stencils is beyond me. I’m glad I canceled. This was my one and only tacpack

Good first vid Andrew! I received my Tacpack today too and pretty happy with it. Knife is decent. I’m a Berretta guy and the mag holder works well ( been seeing them advertised a lot lately. The gloves are really comfortable. I have ammo boxes that I have decided to stencil to avoid confusion and was planning on making the stencils. It’s like the guys at tacpack read my mind. Anyway thanks for the vid and I hope you keep posting
Hey Chris, thank you for the comment and the encouragement! I have gotten 3 Tac Packs so far and every month it seems like we get our money’s worth, but they don’t blow my socks off. I like the mag holder a lot and feel it’s worth the $20 they sell for on Amazon. The gloves appear to be worth $13, which I am very happy with. The ammo can stencils are cool. I have 6 cans that are organized by caliber, so they are useful but I doubt I would pay more than $5 for them. The more I handle the Aegis the less I like it. The liner lock is a huge hot spot and the edge is quite sharp. Still, I’ll throw it in a bag and would spend the $13 that BladeHQ charges for it. When I add everything up, I feel like I got my money’s worth, but just barely.
