Love your videos man, appreciate the content you're sharing and really helping me figure out what equipment I might be wanting to pick up as I start my career!
@@seansiquig appreciate that so much!
When you opened your tripod bag, I thought it would be neatly arranged heavy tripods like other wedding videographer influencers, but I found that the way you placed the lights in your bag was exactly the same as mine, along with the exact same light, light stands and even tripods. I couldn't stop laughing haha. I totally agree with what you said!
lololol, heck nah! I just throw them things in there no case or anything. The lighter the setup the better when it comes to wedding day gear. And half the weight is typically caught up in bringing unnecessary things and cases along for the ride. Might be a little harder on the gear in the long run, but it's worth it.
great video,! goodluck with the growth !
Appreciate that so much!
22c!!! Congrats. I made 14 cents when one of my books was translated into Brazilian Portuguese... I'm look forward to 9:03 -- the Zoom F3 segment.
Zoom F3 is where it’s at. Honestly the best piece of gear for a wedding videographer. 🤙🏼
Thanks agian! Great video. Man really I don’t know how I can say that: I don’t buy anything that has the brand P.M. on it! Overpriced Ooohh sorry I simply can’t. The bag seems very solid. I bought the PGY tech one mo 35l I am so happy with it. And my nd is from nisi. Your video is so helpful thanks again
I get that - they are pricy. But, out of all the PM branded things, the Nomatic 35L is by far worth the money. It’s hard to describe, but the quality of the bag and the wear it’s able to put up with is great. It’s less about PM and mainly because Nomatic is such a quality company. That + the lifetime warranty on the bag itself is worth every penny.
The ND filters are meh, yes they work but there’s nothing innovative. But I’ll stand by the 35L bag all day every day!
cool you found your bag! When I shoot weddings I have a weist bag and I carry on me batteries, mist filter, and of course microphones, memory cards I have one from ulanzi I am not happy with it. It’s kind of stiff so it doesn’t work well. Do you use something like that? So I open for recommendations
I’d like to get into wedding photography and Birthday shoots but i’m struggling on deciding which wide focal length lense i should get, since i have a 1.6 crop factor on my canon aps-c sensor. Any recommendations? Also great videos i’ve watched a few and learned a lot.
I really don't know much about Canon APS-C options, but my first lens was an 18-105 f4, and that carried me through a good start of my career. For a first lens, I almost always recommend the longest zoom you can get with the lowest Fstop you can afford. Something equivalent to a 24-70 2.8 would be phenomenal for a first lens.
which sd card are u using for your sony cam?
@@I.K.2013 Angelbird 256gb v90 SD cards! I also have a few ProGrade v90 cards as well. Both brands have been very good to me.
Your tripods are to small.
Tripod size is all relative to your camera size + movement needed. For my style, the lighter the better! My main rig with the monitor is pushing the limits - but to record the ceremony & speeches I just need a stable shot - hardly any panning/tilting required. So, they’re perfect for me. 🙌🏼
