  • We’ll take a day trip from Asheville, NC to nearby Hot Springs, an entry point for the famed Appalachian Trail. We’ll hike the AT to the top of Lover’s Leap, where Chris pushes the boundaries of his comfort zone!
Join us as we search for and find breakfast at a trailside diner, walk around town a bit, and reward ourselves for a successful hike with a stop at Big Pillow Brewing for a pint or two. And be sure to stick around til the end, cause in our question for discussion this week, we’ll attempt to find out about YOUR comfort zones!

As a guy whose hands and feet tingle when looking off the second floor of a shopping mall, I feel your angst Chris! I may need a pint now just thinking about it lol

@unclepick3459. 😂 The funny part of the “crabwalk “ picture is that I needed to sit and survey the next part of the hike. ☹ I couldn’t find anything but pointed rocks to sit on! Thank goodness for editing 😂
      Thanks for watching!

😅Drove across The Highlands in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 this last September with four other people in my care, two were my sisters and other two were good friends ❤ Did I mention it was a NINE passenger van 🚐 that we initially did not rent, but realized when we showed up to pick up our Seven passenger car, so called SUV, there was no way 5 women with all our luggage 🧳 was going to get literally CRAMMED into that vehicle!! The definite most challenging so called roads, were the Footpath size roads that took you across mountain passes 😂 I felt like the whole time I was going to get in trouble for driving down a paved hiking trail 😊

@tiffanymitchell2071. Thanks so much for your comment!! What a great story 😀👍!
I’ll bet all five of you have some great memories from that journey. 😀
Big credit to you for wheeling that van around 👍👍 I’m guessing you needed to stop for livestock here and there.😀
Thanks for sharing your story but the question is, would you do it again 😀?
      Safe travels 👍✌

Visited Asheville a few weeks ago having listened to your thoughts on it. I really like the place, but only had a day to enjoy it on a 2.7k. Mile road trip.

@fleabiter thanks so much for your comment! Wow - That’s quite a roadtrip! What was your basic route (start and end points)? Thanks for watching and safe and happy travels to you!
