In case you want to catch “A Biltmore Christmas” on Hallmark, here’s the list of when it’s airing: * Thursday, Dec. 7 at 10 p.m. * Sunday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. * Thursday, Dec. 21 at 8 p.m. * Monday, Dec. 25 at 6 p.m. * Sunday, Dec. 31 at 8 a.m. Happy holidays to you all!😊♥️🎄
We absolutely loved the Biltmore! We toured the mansion and all over the grounds. Our whole family enjoyed it. We would definitely go back. And I would love to go at Christmas. 🎄
I'd go back in a heartbeat! Haven't seen the new Hallmark Christmas movie set there- I'm sure it's STUNNING. Great to hear from you! Hope all is well with your family.
@sheilakerr-jones4345 I’m sure that was fun! Very cool to be there hiking on Christmas Eve. Asheville was a fun city. It put in a mind of Austin TX and Galway’s Latin Quarter. I wished we could have heard more local music though🙁 Thanks for watching and sharing! Safe travels!
It's sooooo expensive. I've seen it many, many times since I'm from North Carolina. I've seen it in all seasons and don't plan to go again after the sticker shock of the last trip. The prices have always been high, but it's absolutely outrageous these days. It is worth a trip in spring and one at Christmas, though. Oh yeah, bears are a real thing around Asheville. My SIL lives in West Asheville, and we see them frequently in their neighborhood.
Jane thanks so much for watching and commenting! I’d love to see it at Christmas! I noticed that they package things together a bit, so it seems you get more for your money maybe… In our neck of the woods in northwest Indiana it’s strictly deer, raccoons, squirrels and such!
$25 what a bargain!😂 Though it’s very expensive, I enjoyed it greatly, but I’d guess twice is certainly enough. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!♥️
I can’t spend any more money there simply because of how they handled the whole situation with the tree on their property falling on the car killing a NYPD fire fighter. As nice as the place looks it just bothers me seeing how greedy the people running the place are
@JawaChopShop. Thank you for watching and commenting! We weren’t aware of this story until we read your comment . How tragic! They looked like a beautiful family. We’re going to keep an eye on what happens next.
@user-js7ek8bo2n. Thanks for watching and for your comment! We’ve not been to Newport but it looks great! I think it’s hard to compare the two cities. I read Newport s cost of living was 123% above the national average while Asheville was 6% higher than national average. It’s hard to compare ocean vs mountains but I like that Asheville is repurposing its older industrial areas for art, small businesses and public use spaces. It just has a good vibe. Thanks again for watching! Hope you watch a couple of our earlier videos. 👍😀

It’s definitely worth it, every penny, we are going back again in spring.❤️
I loved it! I told Chris next time we go to Asheville he can play golf for TWO days! 😂😂♥️
We were there Christmas day, and Asheville for five overall, we climbed Chimney Rock area Christmas Eve. We enjoyed our time tremendously!

Wow 😲. That was an amazing house. Loved the library. Thanks for all the information Karen. You definitely do your research. 👍😊💙🇮🇪🇺🇸
Thanks so much Don! We’re really enjoying your recent episodes from Thailand!😊♥️🇺🇸🇮🇪
Yes it is worth the money
I agree! I only wished I’d had another full day to spend there😊♥️
I toured the Biltmore in the early 80's...$25 cost back then... Revisited it in mid 20 teens...$60 that time... No need to revisit...

Newport Rhode Island is more impressive the houses and it's cheaper and the city of Asheville is not pretty.
