I came across your TH-cam channel today and I’m glad I did . For the background I’m a 4th year medical Student in Uzbekistan, I love Germany and German languages, I learned German myself from TH-cam (currently B1 Niveau) I have a question regarding the PG in Germany journey.. as you have mentioned that as an Indian we have a deficit so we have to give an exam called “Ketbisprufung” . Did you gave fachspachprufung after ketnisprufung ,or only one of these two exams is required or both?
I gave both. And you require both to then get a permanent license in germany

No idea about any state accepting b1 for starting the approbationsverfahren tbh. Less time usually in states where others around the world dont apply. Boring states like bremen and sachsen anhalt are going to be less populated hence easier for you to get your application forwarded. Hope that helps. Alles Gute!

Hey Sumant. Glad it was helpful! Yes, you are right. A job offer is necessary to have before applying for a temporary license to work aka Berufserlaubnis. You can't get a job offer before entering the country.. How will you interview, see the department workings, and meet your colleagues? It works the other way around.. As i have said before, first language, then hospitation offer (this can be applied for from outside of germany), then Job seekers visa, then join hospitation in germany, make and leverage contacts for an interview, get a job offer, apply for a BE.. Basically, I want to know if we need to arrange this document " Defizitbescheid" before applying for a job seeker visa? As this is important to get the visa approved. Did you apply for it while you were in India? Or did you just go for verification of your documents at the German Embassy in India? In one of your videos, you mentioned that verification of documents is an essential step when planning to apply for a visa. Please reply. Thanks and Regards
Yes, verification for authenticity is a requirement for the visa. That is done by the embassy itself. I went for the job seekers visa for which there is NO need to get a defizitbescheid.. if you want to talk in more detail, would like assistance in applying for the correct visa, just arrange a call using my calendar link in my channel and video description. In some southern states yes. Otherwise in all others you can get a BE without giving FSP

Application to BE or Approbation must be made to gain eligibility to a FSP. Yes. Without an application and intention to work either with a temporary or permanent license, what’s the point to give the FSP exam?? I hope that helps Sumant.. Alles Gute!

every doctor who studies mbbs outside germany in any language EXCEPT german MUST give the FSP exam to prove competency in medical german,

hey Sara, thanks for the appreciation. The new video got uploaded TODAY! so go enjoy it. The internship is considered a part of MBBS or your medical education. Without finishing internship, you cant get a MBBS degree. "HOUR" certificate is issued and signed by the principal of the college. Find out if there is a record of the prescribed hours at the records/academic section of your college. Then make an appointment with your principals office and talk to him/her. Ofcourse if you want to do that, you absolutely can. You still need to demonstrate an understanding of medical German to get admission. If that is doable, and your German language proficiency already is at that level to get hired as a medical assistant, i would ask myself why not directly give the fsp? Anyway, you can choose whichever path you like. That is the beauty of the system. I would’ve personally chosen the path of a HOSPITATION to train my language and understanding of the medical system in Germany. Hope that helps. Alles Gute!

My plan is that , i will do medical assistant program for 4-5 months and after that I will leave that program and then i will give FSP examination.

job offer is mandatory if you want to take a working visa to come to germany, Otherwise you can come to germany after submitting your documents for the beginnong of the recognition pathway.

German PG is NOT valid directly in India as the pg is done in Germany, a language which thr Indian authorities do not recognize.
Hello sir, I’m from Bangladesh but I have completed my MBBS degree from China & already I got medical license in Bangladesh.sir my question is how can I know that my medical degree is recognised by German medical council,is there any website so that I can check that my university is listed or not? Secondly I already completed residency (which was 2 years course) in obstetrics & gynaecology from Russia so is there any possibility to get benefits from this residency in Germany? hello! anabin.kmk.org/anabin.html this is the website or ANABIN databank where you can check if your university is eligible for applicatioin to germany. Remember this is not a complete list so if your university is missing, i encourage you to directly write an email to the medical council of any state in germany to check with them. I would also write to them and ask if your 2 year expereince of PG will be recognised and calculated towards further expreience in PG in the same branch in germany. Each application is checked individually so i cannot say from my end IF and HOW your experience of 2 years will be recognised. Hope that helps. Alles Gute!

Hello Archana. Easy? No. It isn’t easy to do pg in my opinion in Germany. One really has to want to do it, and be willing to put in the time and effort to learn the language, culture, and deal with the bureaucracy. If you are looking for an easy option, Germany isn’t the country to try in. Hope that helps!

Any medical registration is enough to apply in Germany. Some states want a home country license, some want a license from the country of study. Learning language is important. Where you learn it is NOT. If you can learn online, then do that.

Thanks a lot.. highly informative...Just need a clarification though you clearly said if the Documents are in English no need for translation....But in instructions its written they don't accept other than German language documents...plz clarify where its mentioned....Thanks again..
i know that HAMBURG as a state does accept documents in English. I know this because of my own experience. I just walked in on my appointment and asked if my documents needed translation and they said no, made a copy and kept it as is. The same thing happened to all the other colleagues who applied alongwith me.. The sad part is Germany isn't known for keeping a clear communication or for updating information online for the people around the world to see. I also know that states like Bayern and Badem würrtemberg insist on getting every document translated, even when in english, So it depends on the state, rather than a central law. I would suggest, if in doubt, to write an email, or ask directly the officer responsible for your documents if its necessary BEFORE spending money and time on translating english documents into german, and then running around to get the translations legalised.
