Its a little different for regulated jobs such as doctors lawyers and nurses. The opportunity card will be introduced for other non regulated professions

Hello sir, my case is a peculiar one. I am a medical graduate. Passed my MBBS final year in 2017. After that i joined internship and took a break to prepare for USMLE exam, which requires us not to complete the internship. Due to some health and financial issues i got caught up and couldn’t write the exam in time and when i did booked the date to write the exam, lockdown happened, i myself contracted covid and grieved the deaths in family. After the pandemic, i lost hopes on my exam and resumed my internship, i completed it in 2023 and received my original degree and permanent registration. So now the issue is, I want to do PG in Germany, but now i have 5 years gap in my CV, as i took long time to complete my internship. I cannot acquire a work experience, even though i worked part time with my temporary registration, as no one gives me because i recently got the permanent registration of degree. Now i am in dilemma and in need of your advice. Please guide me, if i can apply for visa now or should i drop the idea. Thank you

Hi sir, i am doing my residency in obgyn in india and want to quit. I finished my mbbs in 2021 with my internship. Have 2 years gap, and then 1 year of residency. Can i quit and apply for germany at say 30 years of age?

Ofcourse you can aayushi. Age 30 is no problem at all. Most germans finish their mbbs by 30 so its pretty normal here to start your pg then.

Hello sir I saw your video it was very helpful sir.🙂
I am currently pursuing my Mbbs from India. Sir I have some doubts regarding pg course.
    1. Students who are persuing their Pg in Germany are given any titular degree of MD, MS, or MCh as given in India?
    2. Is Pg from Germany given a significant importance in India as given for Pg from other foreign countries like USA, UK or Australia?
    3. Can I go back to India to practice Medicine after completion of pg from Germany?

Hello Satya, thank you for your interest. I have discussed the first question in more detail here. th-cam.com/video/H0bwkKrBPWs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oubZydV20Gj-MQqi
PG from germany has its own value and is recognized in 28 countries in the EU. Mci in india doesn’t recognize the degree from germany as it doesn’t recognize or understands the german language. Hence working as a pg in a govt hospital wont be possible after pg in Germany. Private sector however 😬😬

You should start with medical terms alongside learning general german. It works pretty well. Start with small terms and maybe five a day. Over time you can master both medical and general german. It is hard yes i know. But it is doable
