I love the irony of Kale, an obvious corporate CEO who clearly hates rock music and has the most techno style music in the game, has the same voice as Sonic, who has rock and roll coded into the franchise’s DNA

He's got a lot of personality+design and the fact that hes a goofy villain (in the sense that hes not a dark harbinger of destruction like most video game villains nowadays) really makes him original. His boss battle is one of the most entertaining to play ever and his presence throughout the game is both consistent and fun. Ive seen people comparing him to other characters like vergil, which dont get me wrong, they are cool, but i honestly prefer evil Steve Jobs
I gotta agree, fuck Vergil 3 and his story to me seems to be "Mommy couldn't magically be fire proof and kill all the demons so I'm going to try and kill humanity twice so I can get more power"

Honestly massive respect to the musicians for making the streamer mode music decent, like it's not nine inch nails but it doesn't feel like it's trying to be, it just aims to match a similar vibe

Just finished my first run-through of the game and I was on hard... some of the encounters were really tough. And i died 20 times in this level which i think 17 or 18 of which were all on the last phase.
If someone is having the same problem as me, you are problably in the hard difficulty, you have to change the difficulty to normal, then in the other phases of the bossfight you can set the difficulty to hard again.
@@Stynkrat Nah I carried that chip throughout most of the game. You get maybe one health drop plus this guy was just whacking the boss not parrying him. Maybe it's an easy mode thing 🤷🏻♂️
He was a very tough boss but I didn't really suffer battling him because I was constantly summing Peppermint to distract him from focusing on me lmao. It worked and I didn't die even once!
I hate the last phase of his fight, probably my least favourite fight in the whole game, can barely even hear any music, it annoys the hell out of me ngl, because the whole game ive been going off of the music like it says, and now there barely any, so now im struggling to time anything
I had tons of issues with the final phase (probably shouldn't have picked hard) but I was able to finally beat it by parrying every shot, taking it slow with korsica, and only doing one heavy combo at a time till the stun where I let loose

I think the Vergil talk is more in his physical mannerisms and appearance. He definitely draws a lot of inspiration in all but personality.

I'm trying to block and dodge whenever when you transition from phases 1 to 2, but there's nothing for me to dodge from him so I can't move one, help?
If you're struggling just use ''pick me up'' as special attack, it makes the game way more easier. Never died to a single boss because of it.

Man this phase really frustrated me. Took me several tries my first time. The last parry phase I misread but I figured it out.
I've been trying to beat it for like two days now, it's soooo rough.
It’s not a fun phase, so much visual clutter with your teams attacks+his attacks

Yeah, this phase pretty much destroyed my entire run in that track. 31 retrys, an A Rank om the track, but a D Rank overall, huge middle finger ngl.

Its a chip you have to get. I forget the name but it provides a percent change that health will drop after a perfect parry
