Got to love how we get just a bit of character development from Cynte between games. In the first game he was unmoved and unphased by watching one of his fellow researchers die on the research base. He only cared about himself and containing the parasite. But here in two we’ve seen him grow empathy by way of caring about Karis to the point that he is distraught after Karis’ death. We also see his determination to stop the parasite whereas in the first game he was miffed about not being the chosen host.
Game may not be perfect in everything, but it delivered well: 1. Cynte undergoes a subtle but great development here. He is still himself, but now has actual concern for people. He shows genuine care for Karis, even questioning him on the untested vaccine, and is horrified at the massacre of people (something that ironically was what he intended as experiment). 2. Science fantasy feel was well thought out. First game felt like science fiction, but it hinted that the parasites seemed not really alien, but supernatural. Here, the game fleshes out the supernatural side well, without being overwhelming. 3. The only real issue is the ending. I feel like it would have hit better there was more dialogue there, or more development between Luce and Cynte. It could end either with Luce resisting at the last minute, allowing Cynte to mercy kill her (as redemption and to show that Cynte shows more humanity), or end with the monster taunting Cynte, but he counters with a cold shot to show that he is not going to be influenced. Overall, this is one of the most horror indie games that I have ever seen.
I think, Karis was Cynte Friend before, But they have separated because something...., Cynte says "it was long time ago, I didn't think about you, i was focused on my research".
Considering the fact that the game takes place after 3 months, Luce can't barely even resist the influence of the parasite so it's over for her. The dialogue before might be the mercy kill she wanted as she was begging Cynte to kill her.
To be fair, he lost 3 limbs so the nutritions would just distribute somewhere else, or he is genetically modified to be different (since this is in the future)

He probably sustained himself with whatever little food and water was left, before being left to starve for a few days, leading to his current malnourished self. Either that or he found some alternate food sources, like the parasites.
The fact that this is one guy with literally only an arm and also a parasite in him, managing to survive and fight against all of these mutated monsters speaks volumes about how pathetically stupid and cowardly the other survivors are. Imagine being outlived by an infected guy with one arm who survived for literal months by himself.
If anything, it simply proves Cynte's single minded drive rather than any issue with the others. We can see the aftermath of how they went out in both games and a good deal of them look like they went out at least TRYING to swing. This man is so determined that despite almost being drawn and quartered AND infected, he's out here putting in pain. Long story short, it's not that everyone else is weak, it's that Cynte was NOT built with factory settings. That boy built different.
So, in the ending, it makes it looks like were gonna get an third game, i wont be surprised if in the end of this third game he gets his limbs back but then forgets how to use them and know only to use his right arm

how to beat Luce she's incredible tough fight despite she uses her 4 hands to attack you but beware a single 4 hand attack will kill you use handguns to shoot off her hands to prevent attacking you and use the shotgun at her head handguns do the trick but shotguns are quite effective ending her in just a few well aim buckshots always try find her head the best way to find her head is look at her neck and where the head attach ignore the hands attacking you always go for the hurting part
