considering that the assits in cannon are via some handwave teleportation, the boss explosions are likely not fatal, but it is still a bit funny how casual everybody is about being complcit in a possible fratricide. oh yes mindcontrolling your own mother is horrible but casually causing your brother to go supernova is fine.

Kale doesn't follow the typical villain model of games like this, because yes while his methods are pretty extreme, at the end of the day he doesn't care about running a company or putting any effort so his motivations are just to serve his own laziness. Which is kind of funny and also kind of refreshing.

I absolutely love how throughout the entire game, Kale’s motives for SPECTRA are built up so much and given so much possible implication only for it to be SHATTERED once we find out his true intentions. Given what his end plan was, his "wanting the best of the best" and getting "losers" comment probably means he was looking for people with a lot of money and disposable income to spend on his products. He sees the ipod as being a cheap and outdated item and thus emblematic of someone without said income. Which to be fair he was right on the mark on given Chai is implied to be unemployed at the start of the game.
