You'd turn a page, I'd make ooooh and aaaah noises, then you'd say how you weren't happy with it but learned and that made it OK. I start muttering about it being wonderful - then I remember that you are evaluating the drawings based on what your intentions had been and how close you got to achieving them. And the creator is always more critical because they are evaluating themselves. I'd like you to know I'd put almost every single one of them up on my wall and be happy every time I looked at them. They are amazing. Thank you for sharing your book with us.
I've been thoroughly enjoying every video you've posted. I'd love to watch you draw elements of any one of your drawings or the entire drawing. I'd love to see original drawings, too. I'm not picky; I just want to watch you create. I find the process fascinating - especially when you start adding shading and bring so much depth to a piece.
Exactly 🙂. I’m just gauging how pleased I am with my ability to translate what I had in my head onto the paper. I actually love every drawing in the book, both the successes and the “failures “ are all part of a story. Every time I look back at them, I remember how I felt and what I was going through.
Since finding you on you tube I've dusted off my drawing board & sketch books and started monochrome doodling at night, while watching TV. It distracts my mind from the PTSD and depression caused during severe trauma, which often sees me sobbing at night seemingly for no reason. Unlike acrylic art, doodling gives me something to anticipate with joy when I sit down at night. Design No 1 took 9 nights to finish; I've almost finished design no 2. I love the random way a design develops, meaning I don't really need to pre-plan its detail, just let the markers and my imagination do their thing, with a white Posca pen on hand if the design goes a bit awry. With great delight, I've just ordered some more markers with different size tips for finer stippling. THANK YOU, BETSI, for the tutorials and introducing me to an art form which brings so much pleasure and distraction from my deepest, darkest memories and thoughts. Worth noting my boy cat Edmund is usually on my lap at night; he prefers lying on my left arm, so a lot of doodling is done one-handed. 🙂
Thank you for sharing🙏🏼. I know how it feels to be burdened with memories. It's like the body physically remembers the trauma even when the mind is relatively okay. I'm glad that drawing is helping you 💙.
I’m too blown away to make a coherent comment at the moment 😂 This is tapping into something deep I think. Life! Like Fibonacci. That kind of thing gets me in hyperdrive. I was seeing so many things, all organic, flowers, sea life, bone, organs, cells…just wow. I’m in connection overload lol. Adhd brain gone crazy 😂 I love that you did one extra and then there was an amazing one hidden at the end. It’s perfect ❤️❤️❤️

Your commentary was so inspiring because it gave so many permissions... it's ok...I was tired...I was trying this...I loved this...I wasn't happy with that...but always the progression, the discipline, moving towards your goal. So positive.

So you did all your drawing’s, and then put your journal together? …love it! Your work is so detailed. Every page is very impressive ❤️
Only some of them were done before hand. I made the journal first sometime in 2022, then added a few sketches. In February when the project began I started working full blast in the journal, occasionally gluing in drawings. It's a wonderful mess 😊

I just started watching now that I basically finished a piece I created and now giving my right side brain a break before I plan out coloring and shading.
Your Feb Masterpiece blows me away!! Dazzles my eyed and grabs me!! I am reminded of the ocean and sea life. Reminding me of how much I miss the Maine Coast. Its been a long time.

Wow thank you so much 💕😊💕. Sometimes when I look at these I think I also miss the ocean. It's odd though, because deep down inside I'm terrified of the water, but I long to go swimming. I'm sure there's a lot to unpack there 😅, which is why it's so necessary to create the art.
Yes, the Ocean , bodies of water is mysterious. Wonderful yet can be scary too, since it is a world we don't actually live in and know like we do as land dwellers.
You work is so amazingly Organic and I see a lot of elements you draw that remind me of the sea..

Usually when somebody does a challenge like this, they start out a little rough, and improve as they go along. These are (mostly) gorgeous, from beginning to end. Thanks for sharing your work!
I had no idea . All the other people I followed who did the 100 day challenge progressed the same way I did. They started off strong but half way through some dropped of while others like me had some "meh" days toward the end. I suppose everyone has their own flow.

Beautiful work, my first thought was under the sea, took me back to when we swam at the Barrier Reef. I’m new to this, not very good but thoroughly enjoying it .

Just found you and am super impressed! Rendr make a paper which is specifically for alcohol markers which stops bleed through - it’s super smooth too so would be perfect for tangling/doodling. Thanks for sharing your amazing work with us!

They are all just absolutely fabulous! I love them all!! ♥️💯 But my biggest amazement is knowing the imagination and creativity it takes for you to continue day after day making new art forms! It's wild and wonderful to see the details.. The differences... The uniqueness of each drawing you do! ♥️ Im not just saying this lightly... your channel has become one of my favorites. I am an artist. Have mainly been a cartoonist that has dallied with painting and sketching scenery and I have attempted to find a niche for myself to expand my own artistry. I've done caricatures but I usually come back to what I call my doodles. When I look at your work it allows my mind to soar with possibilities of finessing my own "doodles "..... You are just amazing!!
Btw.... I enlarged your picture that is attached to your Channel. Am I assuming correctly that you drew that tiny portrait of yourself? If so.... It lets me know... Your artistic abilities are far-reaching...portraits are so hard to do. My mother-in-law is a very good painter. And she's very good at painting people. And even with her instructions and suggestions and encouragement I still struggle to be able to do lifelike portraits. I guess the reason that I want to share all of these compliments with you is because I truly know what it takes to create something out of a blank piece of paper..... and when I am viewing artistic pieces it is never something superficial with me because I realized how much of that artist goes into what I'm viewing

I've found your account a few days ago and I'm very impressed. It looks so easy when you're talking and painting... while watching I tried to paint some of the patterns. I’m new to your page tonight. I loved the cover of your journal as soon as I saw it. Purples are my favorite color, including plum and burgundy tones as well. Your drawings blow me away! You have so much talent and I thank you for sharing it with all of us. So many designs were amongst my favorites too…..it’s ok to have a few faves. I wrote this on your number 61 page. So I can’t wait to see the rest of them. But I wanted to comment while the thoughts were still in my head. Just wanted to tell you that I went to the store today and bought a 3 1/2” x 5” hard covered journal book ( They had it with a purple cover….lol) and a spiral bound sketch book with paper specifically for pencil and inks, 6 different sizes of the micron pens, blending stumps, a nice pencil, and instead of a compass (it was almost $20) it’s like a stencil sheet with many different sized circles from big to the smallest is 1 1/4”, an eraser, 1 purple and 1 pink gel type pens to give all of these doodles a go. Wish me luck! I don’t have instagram and I don’t want to use it either. I also don’t have Facebook anymore.

In just 1 word: AWESOME!!! I am amazed what you done here, I sometimes see underwater scenes with coral, shells etc, the other times it looks like something you would find on outerworld planets or even deep down underground where all kinds of creatures etc live. Just like all coments below, I am amazed at your work, hope you don't mind I copy a few things to use in my own drawings?

Day 2 - I hope there will be a video tutorial on this. So abstract
Day 7 - very nice background but I know you didn't quite like it. I was wondering whether you can show how you did the pattern for the background. It is wonderful
Day 9 - the pattern that you said you like. Please demonstrate 🙏
Day 11 - beautiful. I like how the spirals blend into the whole picture
Day 19 - I love the background pattern. A video tutorial will be appreciated. A simple artwork that you can be proud of.
Day 26 - yes, the tentacles is the key to this beautiful picture. The flower is lovely and the background color purple is so cool. Indeed an interesting picture
Day 31 & 32 - lovely! Nothing is wrong with 32. It is cool!
Day 35 - yes, you left it just the way it is. All the patterns meet at a focal point which seems to enter into eternity. Good decision
Day 37 - please demonstrate how you did the ropes. I think it will be very soothing to see how the ropes are done.
Day42 - the swirls on the right. I love it. Video lesson please 🙏
Day 51 - indeed abstract! I love it too
Day 52 & 54 - wow. I hope there will be a long video on how you did this. I was drawn to both especially 52, no actually both 😁
Day 56 - please show how you did the pattern that you said you like
Day 58 - fantastic!
Day 64 - once again how did you do the background pattern. Those that looks like seawaves and straws
Day 65 - the pineapple pattern is cute. Hope to see a video on the cute pattern
Day 72 - the curl up pattern 🙏🙏
Day 74 - I think is cool. You did just 2 patterns. I think all is good. Just 2 patterns suits this artwork
Day 75 - wow factor is definitely there. I believe it was a lot of work for this
Day 76 - cool. One of a kind! Very creative
Day 78- I think 78 is the one that I am most drawn to. Please show a video on the process of how you did it. 🙏I most very drawn to swirls and flowy line art type of patterns
Day 85 & 90 - please demonstrate 🙏
Day 87 - very simple but just lovely. This would be good for a video tutorial 😁🙏same for day 90. The ominous effect is brilliant !
Day 97 - super well done!
Day 101 - super nice with the colors

Hi Sue, the design is a zentangle pattern called divi. I saw it on enioken.com where Eni adapted it and called it "braided divi". I just went back to check her site and it looks like she now offers a pdf ebook with instructions.
