    This is not chat. This is so deep that it left me with tears. Betsy Ur art is a Universe...as U yourself are. Thank U Betsi, this for me, as an artist in crisis, was a healing touch.❤

      I honestly don’t know what to say 🥹. The healing process can be so very long for some of us. It can take years, decades, but art can help us through it. Know that I am here, if you need a little push, a reminder, a kind message. But mostly I truly hope you can find what you need in order to begin healing.

    What can I say that will not bore or offend your followers. Maybe I should call you a doctor, or master etc. You are awesome, so deep that is way over my understanding for sure. I just love what you have to teach, encouraging us to search our inner selves, looking for answers that we may not comprehend but rather enjoying what is here and now. I just say to you thank you for sharing your talents, art, wisdom, knowledge, and yourself with us all! Bless you, my dear!!

    Nature is my biggest inspiration, especially tiny lifeforms that are easily overlooked. I take a lot of nature photos, many with a macro lens. The forms of these flora and fauna frequently find their way into my drawings, intuitively. Watching artists create is a close second, and I learn a great deal from videos such as this one. Thank you for sharing something that is intimate and personal, so generously with your viewers😊

    Betsi, you are a delight! Your work is deep and gorgeous, your mind is deep and gorgeous! I get so much inspiration every time I watch you both at the level of design and pattern as well as mentally. I love the portal idea. Definitely will be using it in upcoming drawings.
    I, too, love thinking about where inspiration comes from and what turns me on in all senses. For me, I'm an anatomy geek, so, I get much inspiration from bodies of all sorts, micro and macro. I have also done botanical illustration forever so that is an endless source of inspiration. The natural world is resplendent! I still love to go out in nature and make art. Due to health issues I am mostly housebound at this point. However, despite my challenges I can still spend hours every day doodling and making art is my meditation and my salvation.
    I'm grateful for all that you share! It means a lot to me.

    Hello Betsy! Love the way you used these different patterns to create an intense cosmic visual 😮. I connect with a lot of your thoughts. I've always watched the sky (day or night) and always wonder about the universe, our place and incredible journey in this infinity. Younger I used to read a lot of sci-fi novels or illustrated stories about different imaginery worlds (like the ones by the very talented French artist Jean-Philippe Druillet). It captivates the imagination! Looking forward to the next draw and chat!!😊

    • @fabiennemartin1138
      @fabiennemartin1138 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@betsi_jaeHello Betsi! Actually his name is Philippe Druillet and he was and still is one of my most beloved fiction comics and cosmic artists of my youth. Yes his albums are translated in English. He has a very specific style mixing science-fiction with enigmatic characters, space, gigantism, architecture ... I wanted to send you a couple of photos from his work so you can have a taste of his style (one photo has the same kind of theme as your drawing!!) but I don`t know how to do it. Also you can find a short article about him in the English version of Wikipedia. Best regards and take care, Fabienne

    YES ~ Space is ever evolving. BTW, love your self-portrait. How about drawing a quark, and other micro-building blocks in the natural world. Thank you for sharing that small insight into your own childhood. That is not always easy. What might you imagine is within a black hole? I wonder about it, and if my thoughts are anything like film makers (thank you Science Fiction - what I also call Science Possibility. Special thanks to Dr. Who! hahahaha) Math is not my personal forte', however, I wish that it were added to my present skills. Music and language come easy to me, but math, not so much. Love your inspiring work. Keep it up, as we LOVE your talks while we use the left brain to draw.

    • @betsi_jae
      @betsi_jae  ปีที่แล้ว

      The wait-til-theres-evidence part of my brain tells me there's nothing in the black hole. There's no way to exist under such extreme conditions 😊. The sci-fi part of my brain imagines tunnels and universes and ecosystems that boggle the human brain. Scientific models show that if the basic conditions of existence, like gravity and electromagnetism were even just slightly different, then everything would fall apart. There's would be no universe to explore. But there's no shame in imagining all sorts of fun stuff and bringing it to life in paper ☺️.

    I meditated over one of my tunnels and it gave me this idea of birth and transformation through death, as well as transcendence. 🌅
    Nature turns me on, natural forms mother nature presents us in the tiniest as well as in the most gigantic manifestations of life.
    One of my tunnels and meditating over it, made me cry, but in a truly cathartic way. It released all that pressure inside me, that usually only expresses itself by forcing dissociative phases on me, because discending from my body and physical being, is the only way to bear the hurtful impacts that caused my cPTSD. 😢 But the insight through meditation and these tears released all the pain within, which made me happy and fearless. 🎉
