Tip number 1 in Metro Exodus: Turn on your pc or console to play Metro Exodus. Numer 2: Play the game. Number 3: if you don't want to play anymore, turn off your pc or console.
I was intrigued by this game but never played the other 2. For the past couple weeks I’ve been playing them. I highly recommend playing them first. Great games. With some good headphones it’s fantastic. Can’t believe I waited so long to play them. Great single player story.
So you can understand what is going on. I imagine Exodus is a continuation. That and they’re really good games. I played the first one and beat it and started the second one right away. I have to imagine they’re really cheap now. Well worth it. Just my opinion though.
The only places I didn't explore were the dark maintenance rooms with those fucking spiders and the part with the smaller mutants and watchers. Why did I explore everything else? - NV - keys to safes - Bastard with the best upgrades - Resources - Ammo - Again, AMMO! If you don't explore that game is fairly harder
Here is something not covered in this video, this is for the ones who want to explore more of the open world. Go to the tallest building or a structure in the map and equip binoculars, zoom in on any structure or building you find interesting, if there is a side quest, or enemy zones, it will mark it in your map with a question mark. Next time you are around an area you can quickly check your map to see if a near by area is worth exploring using those question mark symbol. I found it super helpful.
If you’re on the fence about buying this game, just buy it. It is MORE than worth it. You don’t even need to have played the first 2 games, as long as you’ve watched a story recap, you’ll be ready. This game is an absolute masterpiece, and I can’t wait to go back to playing after typing this
Reticle Quick actually playing the first two games really prepares your mind on what to actually do in this game. Yes watching a story recap is good, but only focuses on the main parts of the story. It is highly recommended to play and finish the first two metro games to really understand what is going on, and what to do based on past experience. Just going to play metro exodus for the story? More power to you, but the first two games aren’t bad either :/
Some actually good tip: utilize throwing knife and tikhar a lot. The former is retrievable even if you throw at mutant/zombie enemies from for example Caspian, and the latter's ammo can be crafted without a workbench.
This game is absolutely amazing! I've spent nearly 50 hours on Volga. I usually don't like scavenging but it works well in this game. This is the closest to real as any game I've played. I'm loving every minute of Exodus. 10/10 for me
Wow...i miss ten tons of stuff on Volga, you dont knew doing side or main... Simply stupid, you cant return back Amazing game still, sadly no health bar,all different stuff brilliant!
Im just gonna say when i played the first metro game i didnt know about the charger so i went the entire game with a horrible flashlight using my lighter was better and when i got the night vision goggles thinking they didnt work because i didnt have enough power so imagine how creepy my play through was.
#3 should be "Avoid monsters in the open IF you don't explore alot". If you explore alot, you'll have enough supplies to go wild offen especially since alot of the main missions want you to be stealthy.
Yeah uh, gl having me do half these things, especially reading notes EDIT: What I would add instead is that, try not to kill people but instead save them so you can get the good ending. If you go around killing people you get bad ending
here's a good one switch out the Compass for the Motion tracker as soon as you find it having to open you'r map to find out if you need to go left or right is not a huge inconvenience
Tip: If one of your non-specialist weapons such as a Shambler, Bastard or Kalash get's really dirty and starts jamming ever 1 or 2 shots head back to the Aurora and swap it for another weapon once done swap it back. You'll get your weapon back clean all you need to do is add the modifications back on. (Tested on Hardcore, not sure if it works on Ranger Hardcore.)
Do upgrades toward damage. Use the revolver instead of the bastard. You will find the cylinder upgrades if you explore. This is one of the best weapons for ammo conservation and it packs a punch. Use the air rifle when ever possible, it is silent and good fro both long and short range, the craftable ammo is cheap to make. Charge it to maximize the damamge. You can use the AK in semi, just let go of the trigger after every round. You want upgrades? explore. Oh. and do it during the day....
@@someidiotlmao4428 You craft them with spare scrap you scavenge. It takes 10 scrap material to make ten steel balls. The Tekhar (think I spelled it right?) is probably one of the best guns to rely on early game.
The "don't kill monsters" tip is a pretty decent one but I've found a way around that and I don't lose anything. If you use throwing knifes you get them back after a monster dies. Now in groups it's a bad idea but if you can do it without alerting the others by all means do it up. It helps exploring buildings without being attacked
Lol, that last tip about adjusting mouse sensitivity was just so you could reach 15. Here is another for ya: Remember to lower difficulty if the game is too hard!
@@petealoisi7350 seriously since I played previous Metro a lot along with STALKER series I was confident in going for highest difficulty right at the beginning, but it turns out that although I can manage all the combat/ exploration circumstances I do have difficulty finding the key for many functions... still dont know how to adjust and mark with binocular
Here's a tip, ranger hardcore mode does more damage against the enemy and they do more against you. thus is most realistic. Not sure if it limits your ammo count like it did before.
Actually Metro Exodus is ALL about being stealthy.SPOILER Don't kill the fanatics in the Volga level and don't get spotted by them when you are going to talk with Katya and Nastya in the church, don't kill any of the slaves or savages in the Caspian level (knock them out instead in stealth) and, especially in the Caspian level look for Giul's family photo in the bunker under the light house, also when you're in the Baron's Rig you have to knock out the guy beating up the slave and the one kicking the girl upstairs (will lead you to a gun fight, but it's needed in order to keep Damir with you, along with opening the cages of the slaves in the boat that Anna indicates you and inside the facility where you steal the water) In the forest level you must be Stealthy and unnoticed all the time, since killing ANY of the forest people will lead to Alyosha getting shot. In the Volga level you have to get the guitar for Stepan and the Teddy for Nastya also. If you do so you'll get many trophies such as Damir, Full Strenght, Forest People and the GOOD ending (good ending is possible even if Damir doesen't come with you in the zipline, but you have to save both Duke and Alyosha from getting shot, otherwise it's Bad Ending time buddy.
I keep on thinking like this is a fallout game and trying to kill every monster I come across for xp to level up and if they drop rare weapons, but no I got to stop myself lol
After having completed the game a couple times on Ranger Hardcore, it's somewhat amusing watching these tips and tricks videos with full HUD on display, talking about using stealth as if there's any other option, or even things like Ammo Conservation when the Tikhar is absolutely BROKEN.
Watch some review and decide for yourself. Just dont listen for any complains since no everyone's have the same tastes. But for me worth every penny..👍
I been. Playing for 8 hours now. Still in first map. Deff worth it. Be warned though it's crashing every hour it seems on xbox. Deff needs a day 1 patch. But it's such a fun game it's not bothering me to much.
punching the enemies doesnt kill them, keeping good moral, if stealth doesnt work out. the game never tells you if a enemy knocked, so you are not sure if you actually killed them.
This game has so many incredible details like packs of those four legged beasts will behave like a pack, guard an area, and alert others if they see you, they howl when discovering a dead comrad as if mourning and all other members of the pack will start howling too like hearing something like that in a game is pretty damn immersive
Please can I steal one of those clicks? :) Sorry for the douchey comment but I made a funny little video on this game recently. I'd love some more fans to see it! :)
It's fitting that this video should run across my suggestions because I recently decided to play through the game again and after completion I googled if where gonna get another metro game. Long story short, one search lead to another and well, I just found out that the Animator Andrii Korzinkin died due to the conflict. I sat there thinking about how deep it all was and counting my blessings and just how much pride that guy put into his work. Anyway, may he RIP 🙏🏽
also the hellsing turns into an improved version of itself from the past when using the electric with rotating barrel. hmm soo soo good. wish it held more ammo in inventory though.
ok the game does tell you a lot of this stuff in the beginning just before you get to volga. i cant remember the character that tells you but you are told to explore and search for loot and pick everything you come across while at the same time he tells you that your backpack can be used to craft and alter weapons and that it will be extremely useful he also tells you to keep your weapons cleaned regularly all in the same scene. Not to mention Anna tells you in the very first chapter that ammo is limited and to avoid fights if possible and again in volga she asks that you avoid a fight with paladins and to try and sneak out instead. The whole recharge your stuff before a fight is also mentioned in the first chapter before the fight you are told this by yermak. Duke also tells you that more dangerous monsters come out at night but its easier to get the drop on enemies in the dark.Just so you know there are more than just the compass upgrade for your wrist so telling people to rely on that soley is like saying "yeah forget the map and just follow the arrow and all the other upgrades forget them". so im afraid that most of this list is wrong the game does tell you but you have to pay attention to what the characters say rather than skip it all.The sensitivity comment was just to make it up to fifteen because all basic gamers know to do this before they start a game. The only things i agree with is the spend some time on the train, read notes and do side quests. everything else is mentioned in the first few missions of the game.
Using your binoculars can mark point of interest in the map,I recomand to use it in high point of view, use the zoom and when you hear a click and the image bluring, stay on it and it will reveal a new point of interest in the map,it makes it easier to find ammo, ressources, gun upgrades that you can get really soon in the game, armor upgrades, there is 12 of them, you can also find all AK and Revolver parts in the level of Volga. There is up to 20 points of interest in the level of the Volga,15 something in Caspian. You will find all the armor upgrades and gun upgrades in those 2 levels.Use your binoculars to mark the points of interest on your map and it will make it a lot easier for you to survive and you will explore cool places and do more stuff in the game than you normally would
I just came back to this game and I will always go at night. Stealth is important and makes this game a cake walk if you are good enough. Mutants and monsters aren’t a problem if they don’t see you
It looks like he’s never played any game before. Watch how he just moves. No fluid movement by using both sticks at the same time, instead he uses one stick to move forward, stops, then used the other stick to move the camera to where he wants to go next, then moves again. It’s obvious he doesn’t play games. Like anyone who plays shooters, you constantly make micro adjustments to your crosshairs to keep the reticule to where you anticipate a threat. This guy is just moving with the crosshairs pointing to the ground. He literally only knows how to use one stick at a time. Terrible.
Some tips 1. Like in the vid do side missions because you can get things and it can change the ending (yes there is a hidden morality system to impact endings like RDR2) 2. Some times you just need to run past enemies e.g in terminal you can skip most encounters with enemies and go through the terminal in a couple of minutes 3.if you have a scoped weapon (laser sight is best) if you then throw a knife it should hit where the sight was pointing at 4. Use throwing knifes because of their infinite uses and no upkeep as long as you pick them up they can last almost the whole game
I must say I stumped on this title by accident. I’ve been looking for something that reminds me of half life yet this one entails the concept of fallout elements. This game is remarkably astounding!!
Im having 3 isssues on ps4 pro..and iv had to put down as i dont wanna to have the game ruined until fixed 1. Controller lag.. 2. Gamma slider at full with hdr on im still unable to see last triangle... ??! 3. Footstep sound bug... when you walk you heat a loud shuffling sound like your walking fast out of sync
Exodus doesn't tell you about the hidden karma system that dictates your ending of each level based on very very specific approaches to each one. First one, you're not supposed to kill a single cultist, meaning perfect stealth the whole time or watch the cult leader shiv your buddy. I stopped halfway through the desert level because i didnt know if i was supposed to play pacifist with the slavers too.
I have the confidence to say I’m proficient in using rifles, I never have less than half max ammo. I don’t do stealth either, I go for open fire fights, long range if possible. I kill my targets with less than a burst, 1-2 shots avg. My difficulty is on hardcore, so it isn’t because of abundant resources.
@@ogfrogman2990 you get a lot more lore going stealthy and in some cases get tips about equipment, supplies, stashes from the ai banter. Sometimes it might lead to shortcuts opening if you allow the ai to go through their programed routes and dialogue.
My biggest tip is not to quicksave inside elevators as they are moving then reloading that save. The elevator ends up not moving after you reload and you get stuck. Not trying to hate on the game, just pretty frustrating I have to redo this entire chapter now.
Dr. Embersfield just play the first two games. You get specific endings based on your actions, and these actions (based on the communities choice of words) are Called moral points.
Few corrections. You CAN'T mod everything on your gear and weapons "when ever and where ever" you want. You need to find Work Bench for that. E.g. you cant craft bullets on the fly. You can also loot unconscious NPC's, so you don't have to kill them to loot them and scrap their guns for parts.
You forgot the most important tip, the filters and crafting. Always keep full filters when on exploring, had one time where I was stuck and had to run through spiders territory totally irradiated hazardeous enviroment, was out of filters. Almost chocked at the end with no turning back.
STARTED PLAYING EXODUS DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC...AM TOTALLY ADDICTED TO THIS GAME....AMAZING IN EVERY WAY....AND ITS THE ONLY WAY I CAN FORGET ABOUT THE OUTSIDE WORLD NOW.....
Really love this channel, but what is happening with the narrator's speech? Sounds robotic and unnatural, like he is reading from a paper or teleprompter
Here's an actually useful tip: do the side quests before the main mission, because if you get the main missions done you won't be able to go back to that chapter!
Every single thing said in this video is 100% true. I've played the game and I know how it works and if you listen to this advice you will beat the game.if your experience with playing video games like fallout and Skyrim where you have to look for stuff a lot, then use those skills to find clever and sneaky ways around enemies.
Reviewer: (Reviews a story driven exploration game) Reviewer: Exploration has never been a focus in metro. This video is exactly the clickbait I thought it would be.
there are two endings killing all people without seeking gets you the bad ending. sparing them and doing all side quests and seeking gets you the good ending. side note try to keep duke alive at the bridge by seeking.
Oh for the love of god this is an absolutely terrible video. I was expecting obscure tidbits, not the blindingly obvious. A few of these things the game actually does tell you about. The game does tell you about the day/night cycle for example and the advantages of each.

They also don't tell you that for the PC version, in order to sleep, you need to activate your watch and press the sleep key at the same time in order to sleep.
Forgot the actual most important tip, never kill unless you have too but try to knockout everyone. Unless they got bandit as a name, its safer to knock them out to loot them then to kill them. You'll maybe sorry when the ending you get is where you are going to die because of your choice of killing some people you should not have in game even though they may have been hostile.
Didn't know much about the pressure gun until it jammed in the middle of some battle with the mutants. Excellent game. Currently, playing Metro Last Light for the second time and about to finish.
+1 thing you must know , the end of the game is based completely on your actions through the story so be sure to not kill cult members in Volga ; Don't kill slaves and save them in the Caspian, and sneak through everyone and don't let yourself be noticed in Taiga (thats why i prefer doing that in the night) When you go to the tunnel with spiders you can do whater you wanna do. That's pretty much it, good luck to everyone and have a nice gaming!
Useless information that anyone that cares about the Metro series already knows with terrible gameplay of horrible aim in shooting game. Such is the low standards of game "journalism".

I dont mind about havinf all bad endings. This game is amazing. Totally recomended. Shouldnt be underrated in fact we should get a movie witth this
Honestly i thought the first 2 Metro games were overrated, Exodus looks cool but i fear it may also be a little overrated, not quiet STALKER level. Ill be definately waiting for it to go on sale before i pick it up.
Daniel Mc dude this one is more of an homage to STALKER then they have ever done before.. it’s a lot harder.. need to be a lot more tactical while in gun fights.. whether monsters or men.. you die in like 3-4 hits on NORMAL. This game really makes you rely on saving your ammo & crafting materials for the right times.. also your air supply. This game is a complete 180 change from the last two. Give it a try.. it might surprise you like it did for me.
Daniel Mc yeah I get it stalker was great, it’s just where’s number 2? People love it because it’s the closest thing, I know I do, it’s good in its own right but hopefully you get what I’m saying. This is definitely the most stalker like game though, like really. I’ve even thought to myself while playing, this could even be stalker 2. Gotta play on ranger hardcore difficulty though.
People who played the other 2 games, is this worthy? I will probably buy it. You all recommend? I saw the first, on youtube, and payed the 2nd game. Loved it. Im trying not to watch walkthrough to not have spoilers. In general people say this is the best of all. Say what you think if you played or you are playing ✌
I only played the first one when it came out, ignored everything since then, got Exodus a month ago, went directly into RangerHC with Full Dive and read some stuff on the web about key bindings that aren't in the game options - lo and behond I finished it without any issues by just using my brain. The games is so well designed that it tells you everything through hints, sound clues or exposition.
Here is something most people dont know, you can kill every single bandit in the game, just dont kill slaves, pirates or pioneers and you will get the good ending. I knifed my way thru ranger hardcore and went full ninja on the taiga for the achievement on ranger hardcore.
Exploration was always a thing in Metro, either to get more military-grade ammo or just plain old stuff like regular ammo, filters, and possibly a shortcut or sneaky, less dangerous. passage. Let's look at the first game, 2033. Specifically the Frontline level. With some creative (and intented) use of your environment, you can literally bypass 2/3 of the enemies on this level, saving you tons of ammo and time.
All Metro games are amazing ,great gameplaystory , terror ,weapon customize , characters and Exodus was the the Fruit of the last two . You can only bet that the next one will be even greater ..
You can only change weapon ammo type on the train. I've changed the auto rifle they give you at the start into a sniper rifle on the train and when I went to change it back out on a mission it wouldn't give me the option. Shooting loud will alert human enemies around you as well as mutants.

Number 4 : love this masterpiece
Number 5: spiders on screen give heart attacks
@@aaronthegamer2565 lmao can relate xD
Excellent
I was intrigued by this game but never played the other 2. For the past couple weeks I’ve been playing them. I highly recommend playing them first. Great games. With some good headphones it’s fantastic. Can’t believe I waited so long to play them. Great single player story.
Can you please tell me why you recommend i should buy the first 2 because i did not play them either
So you can understand what is going on. I imagine Exodus is a continuation. That and they’re really good games. I played the first one and beat it and started the second one right away. I have to imagine they’re really cheap now. Well worth it. Just my opinion though.
@@kingutt7775 oh ok thanks NiGgA
KingUtt777 Exodus is a continuation of the book series which are also great.
@@kingutt7775 The Redux bundle is actually on sale on ps4 for $11 right now. I got them on a steam sale for $7 a couple years ago.
Exploration hasn’t ever been a focus in metro??? What💀
Ye I guess it has but it's always been a lot more linear and a lot less to explore part of the time
It has but not nearly to this extent
The only places I didn't explore were the dark maintenance rooms with those fucking spiders and the part with the smaller mutants and watchers.
Why did I explore everything else?
- NV
- keys to safes
- Bastard with the best upgrades
- Resources
- Ammo
- Again, AMMO!
If you don't explore that game is fairly harder
Michał Kamiński this game is garbage unless played on ranger mode..it’s way to easy if not on ranger mode and it lacks the horror the first 2 did
He for sure hasn’t played a metro beforehand
Captain Obvious! I've finally found you.
Exactly
Here is something not covered in this video, this is for the ones who want to explore more of the open world. Go to the tallest building or a structure in the map and equip binoculars, zoom in on any structure or building you find interesting, if there is a side quest, or enemy zones, it will mark it in your map with a question mark. Next time you are around an area you can quickly check your map to see if a near by area is worth exploring using those question mark symbol. I found it super helpful.
Nice one 👍
You don’t have to tell a gamer to explore thoroughly in any game
If you’re on the fence about buying this game, just buy it. It is MORE than worth it. You don’t even need to have played the first 2 games, as long as you’ve watched a story recap, you’ll be ready. This game is an absolute masterpiece, and I can’t wait to go back to playing after typing this
still waiting for the sale on steam next year. stupid publisher...
"Explore throughly"
So you mean EVERY OPEN-WORLD GAME EVER
But in exodus it is more needed as you can find side tasks and hidden stashes.
ACTUALLY THE COMPASS TIP POINTS OPPOSITE OF WHERE YOU NEED TO GO...
The red tip does... #FACT
That confused the shit out of me at first tbh
Took me forever to realize that the red was the point
lol you're dumb
The red end is the tip, what you mean
I never figured that out until the end of the game
Some actually good tip: utilize throwing knife and tikhar a lot. The former is retrievable even if you throw at mutant/zombie enemies from for example Caspian, and the latter's ammo can be crafted without a workbench.
yeah but the latter sucks honestly, if you run out of 86 bullets on single shot weapons ur either drunk or you suck
the throwing knife is especially good with humanimal size mutant when you don't want to waste ammo while exploring.
I have a question 🤔 does the red laser you attach to your weapons help with aiming the throwing knifes at the enemies 🤔
Does the laser on the weapon guide the knife to the target 🤔
This game is absolutely amazing! I've spent nearly 50 hours on Volga. I usually don't like scavenging but it works well in this game. This is the closest to real as any game I've played. I'm loving every minute of Exodus. 10/10 for me
How tf did you stretch Volga out to 50 hours? Jesus fuckin Christ.
50 hours? No way dude. Volga is a big map and filled with details but... 50 hours hahahahahaha wtf
Wow...i miss ten tons of stuff on Volga, you dont knew doing side or main... Simply stupid, you cant return back
Amazing game still, sadly no health bar,all different stuff brilliant!
50hrs??? The fuck you were doing out there?
When I heard that a pistol became a sniper rifle i got a flashback back to metro 2033... Boy, the nostalgia...
Im just gonna say when i played the first metro game i didnt know about the charger so i went the entire game with a horrible flashlight using my lighter was better and when i got the night vision goggles thinking they didnt work because i didnt have enough power so imagine how creepy my play through was.
Lmaooooo dude I feel your pain I didn’t know for a few hours too but kept trying every button combination until I rmeber how to charge
I all ways keep my stuff charged but sadly that does not stop spiders :(
I don’t know how to charge binoculars, now I’m stuck in the darkness among spiders in the mountain damp. Please help me to get out of this trap.
#3 should be "Avoid monsters in the open IF you don't explore alot". If you explore alot, you'll have enough supplies to go wild offen especially since alot of the main missions want you to be stealthy.
Tikhar is pronounced Tee har
Play the game before doing these lists
It constantly reminds you to clean your weapons
boi, I read the books and played the other 2 games.
Anyone who at least played the previous games already know about this
Yeah uh, gl having me do half these things, especially reading notes
EDIT: What I would add instead is that, try not to kill people but instead save them so you can get the good ending. If you go around killing people you get bad ending
I got the bad ending because I wasnt paying attention and killed everything, so now I'm replaying it to get the good ending
here's a good one switch out the Compass for the Motion tracker as soon as you find it having to open you'r map to find out if you need to go left or right is not a huge inconvenience
Who doesnt know you have to pump the tikhar
Fallout players
Librarians are lk SCP 173s, dont lose eye contact or you'll get fk without an snapped neck lol
It literally tells you to pump it
Tip: If one of your non-specialist weapons such as a Shambler, Bastard or Kalash get's really dirty and starts jamming ever 1 or 2 shots head back to the Aurora and swap it for another weapon once done swap it back. You'll get your weapon back clean all you need to do is add the modifications back on.
(Tested on Hardcore, not sure if it works on Ranger Hardcore.)
This is true. The guy at the work bench even says at one point that when you swap or grab a weapon from there that it will be cleaned and ready to go.
You want upgrades? explore. Oh. and do it during the day....
why not night?
@@geronimo5537 i mean you can but, anomlies and mutants roam more at night in the game.
Dia Nuevo are steel balls easier to come by?
@@someidiotlmao4428 You craft them with spare scrap you scavenge. It takes 10 scrap material to make ten steel balls. The Tekhar (think I spelled it right?) is probably one of the best guns to rely on early game.
tyler andreala alright, I’ll keep that in mind.
Why does a game need to tell you to adjust your sensitivity? Smh...
Does the laser sight help with guiding the knife to the target 🤔
Player: decides to change sensitivity
Metro: Well, we don’t do that here
Lol, that last tip about adjusting mouse sensitivity was just so you could reach 15.
Here is another for ya: Remember to lower difficulty if the game is too hard!
Jarle Alexander Tjelland yeah, a better tip in its place would have been to remember to mark points of interest on the map with your binoculars.
Actually Metro Exodus is ALL about being stealthy.SPOILER
Don't kill the fanatics in the Volga level and don't get spotted by them when you are going to talk with Katya and Nastya in the church, don't kill any of the slaves or savages in the Caspian level (knock them out instead in stealth) and, especially in the Caspian level look for Giul's family photo in the bunker under the light house, also when you're in the Baron's Rig you have to knock out the guy beating up the slave and the one kicking the girl upstairs (will lead you to a gun fight, but it's needed in order to keep Damir with you, along with opening the cages of the slaves in the boat that Anna indicates you and inside the facility where you steal the water)
In the forest level you must be Stealthy and unnoticed all the time, since killing ANY of the forest people will lead to Alyosha getting shot.
You must be one of those people that didn't play any of the previous games but call themselves fans.
Well you learn these things on the run, but it might be useful to people new to videogames
I keep on thinking like this is a fallout game and trying to kill every monster I come across for xp to level up and if they drop rare weapons, but no I got to stop myself lol
Me too! I kept putting myself in danger while trying to loot mutant bodies then realizing They were un-lootable and I had wasted ammo lol
redherring271290 your a spartan not a vault dweller cyka
True, it took a while before I realised that in many cases it's just not worth the fight!
After having completed the game a couple times on Ranger Hardcore, it's somewhat amusing watching these tips and tricks videos with full HUD on display, talking about using stealth as if there's any other option, or even things like Ammo Conservation when the Tikhar is absolutely BROKEN.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaah funny
Is this game worth buying or would it be best to wait for a sale?
Watch some review and decide for yourself. Just dont listen for any complains since no everyone's have the same tastes.
But for me worth every penny..👍
Definetly worth buying on steam
Only on Steam
For me it's absolutely worth it. Watch the review by ACG
Read everything, listen to everything, talk to everyone ... otherwise the game will end too quickly.
Number 16. Always aim for the Head if you decide to engage an enemy
I guess this can be classed as a walkthrough.
This game has so many incredible details like packs of those four legged beasts will behave like a pack, guard an area, and alert others if they see you, they howl when discovering a dead comrad as if mourning and all other members of the pack will start howling too like hearing something like that in a game is pretty damn immersive
I 👀see Metro Exodus I click
Please can I steal one of those clicks? :)
Sorry for the douchey comment but I made a funny little video on this game recently.
I already know these things but great video man. I love the Tikhar but the Hellsing is much more effective and awesome as you can recover the ammo.
also the hellsing turns into an improved version of itself from the past when using the electric with rotating barrel. hmm soo soo good. wish it held more ammo in inventory though.
fun fact: When doing stealth, make sure to always use "knockout" instead of "kill" because killing leads to bad ending for the most of the time.
I find it funny that we can knock out the humanimals, those are just mindless monsters. :]
That only applies to mission sensitive areas. Othe locations is free reign.
Loving every sec of this game.
You actually don’t start off with a compass on your wrist, you’ll actually have to go around and look for it
The sensitivity doesn't go up far enough for me.
ok the game does tell you a lot of this stuff in the beginning just before you get to volga. i cant remember the character that tells you but you are told to explore and search for loot and pick everything you come across while at the same time he tells you that your backpack can be used to craft and alter weapons and that it will be extremely useful he also tells you to keep your weapons cleaned regularly all in the same scene. The only things i agree with is the spend some time on the train, read notes and do side quests. everything else is mentioned in the first few missions of the game.
ammo is in short supply, he says playing on the easiest difficulty the game has to offer
You will find all the armor upgrades and gun upgrades in those 2 levels.Use your binoculars to mark the points of interest on your map and it will make it a lot easier for you to survive and you will explore cool places and do more stuff in the game than you normally would
Who is shubhankar?
Indian?
real Cyb0rG what do u think I think he is Indian look at the name
I just came back to this game and I will always go at night. Stealth is important and makes this game a cake walk if you are good enough. Mutants and monsters aren’t a problem if they don’t see you
Let me guess, this guy hasnt played the other Metro games..?
I assume not since almost all of the things he listed are things everyone has known since 2033.
Terrible.
Some tips
1. Like in the vid do side missions because you can get things and it can change the ending (yes there is a hidden morality system to impact endings like RDR2)
2. Some times you just need to run past enemies e.g in terminal you can skip most encounters with enemies and go through the terminal in a couple of minutes
3.if you have a scoped weapon (laser sight is best) if you then throw a knife it should hit where the sight was pointing at
4. Use throwing knifes because of their infinite uses and no upkeep as long as you pick them up they can last almost the whole game
Must say I'm enjoying this game
I must say I stumped on this title by accident. I’ve been looking for something that reminds me of half life yet this one entails the concept of fallout elements. This game is remarkably astounding!!
Im having 3 isssues on ps4 pro..and iv had to put down as i dont wanna to have the game ruined until fixed
1. Controller lag..
2. Gamma slider at full with hdr on im still unable to see last triangle... ??!
3. Footstep sound bug... when you walk you heat a loud shuffling sound like your walking fast out of sync
I notice thst in the entry level but then the sound lag and the controller lags dissapeard.
Just get throught the starting point. Then it gets better.
Same for me with the gamma sliders. I can only see the middle and right triangle even if it’s turned all the way up. Maybe turning off hdr will work?
Yeah we need to keep complaining so they can fix this because once they fix it the game will be perfect
Blane White yeah turn hdr off on ps4
Blane White tried hdr on and off with the same issue
Well if my experience in the first two games is anything to go by you're missing out on quite a lot of content but hey you do you.
John Doe for doin what?
@@ogfrogman2990 you get a lot more lore going stealthy and in some cases get tips about equipment, supplies, stashes from the ai banter. Sometimes it might lead to shortcuts opening if you allow the ai to go through their programed routes and dialogue.
Lemme guess. You got the bad ending?
My biggest tip is not to quicksave inside elevators as they are moving then reloading that save. The elevator ends up not moving after you reload and you get stuck. Not trying to hate on the game, just pretty frustrating I have to redo this entire chapter now.
You guys didn't say anything about moral points.
What moral points? Is there such thing?
Dr. Embersfield just play the first two games. You get specific endings based on your actions, and these actions (based on the communities choice of words) are Called moral points.
Dont kill anyone and run like hell if you want the good ending
Edit: also do the side quests in Caspian if you want good ending
Few corrections. You CAN'T mod everything on your gear and weapons "when ever and where ever" you want. You need to find Work Bench for that. E.g. you cant craft bullets on the fly. You can also loot unconscious NPC's, so you don't have to kill them to loot them and scrap their guns for parts.
Can't wait till it's released next year S2
Oh you're one of those. Steam can blame themself for being greedy. I love Steam but understand why more and more launchers are showing up.

He is trying to copy Falcon from gameranx.
Here's an actually useful tip: do the side quests before the main mission, because if you get the main missions done you won't be able to go back to that chapter!
8:52 the big reason to use this weapon is because you can craft ammo in the field AND it's basically silent
Every single thing said in this video is 100% true. I've played the game and I know how it works and if you listen to this advice you will beat the game.if your experience with playing video games like fallout and Skyrim where you have to look for stuff a lot, then use those skills to find clever and sneaky ways around enemies.
Reviewer: (Reviews a story driven exploration game)
Reviewer: Exploration has never been a focus in metro.
This video is exactly the clickbait I thought it would be.
How?
there are two endings killing all people without seeking gets you the bad ending. sparing them and doing all side quests and seeking gets you the good ending. side note try to keep duke alive at the bridge by seeking.
Artyom is a mute 🤐
Just like Gordon Freeman.
Jacob T no he isn’t.
Work on your aim and try to play the game on normal and try to get some real tips with the game does not tell you about please do that at least

I just bought a bundle of metro 2033, last light, exodus and its expansions.
I nought it cause it was an offer at the PS store. I can not feel better after finishing the game.
Learn English
Overrated if anything they're underrated
Daniel Mc yeah I get it stalker was great, it’s just where’s number 2? People love it because it’s the closest thing, I know I do, it’s good in its own right but hopefully you get what I’m saying. This is definitely the most stalker like game though, like really. I’ve even thought to myself while playing, this could even be stalker 2. Gotta play on ranger hardcore difficulty though.
Best advice I've ever had is to use your flashlight recharger on situations your guns would get dirt, that saves a lot of cleaning resources
