How about Tesla Model Y,how many W,is it using AC or DC Charging?

Model Y like most other EVs can use both DC and AC. Tesla provides a mobile charger kit to plug into standard single-phase AC outlets. If you use the same kWh as he does then your numbers would be exactly the same. UNLESS you don't use much electricity at home, then your monthly home charging rate would be cheaper. What he showed is for homes using up to 900 kWh per month. If your monthly home electricity usage manages to stay under 600kWh even with EV charging, then you can save a further RM30 a month (RM120).

Depends on which EV, if you are driving a Tesla and enabled the sentry mode it would use up some juice for surveillance.
There was once I left my car 3 weeks without switching it on (when I went overseas), and there's not a 1% power loss.
BYD has 20k km intervals service (normal diagnostic like powertrain, wheels, washer fluids, motor fluids and etc). The most expensive maintenance I would say is the tyres.

I plan to get a byd too.. so how about the maintenance?

It's much lower compared to similar size SUV due to fewer parts need to service/maintain. Just the normal diagnostic and checking.

How long do batteries last and how mych to replace them?

    • @imjoshuawong

BYD Malaysia offers 8 years or a 160,000km warranty. There's no point knowing the battery replacement cost as it varies when the warranty expires.

Why power lost. It make me curious

Heat and the length of the charging wire also cause power loss. Even charging our smartphones would have power loss due to temperature
