PLEASE NO SPOILERS FOR LAST LIGHT AND EXODUS, thank you :) If you're enjoying the video, then please do consider leaving a LIKE as that helps out the video a lot more than you know! I'm super excited to play last light now...
Idk as you play all the games it start to get a little awkward especially on exodus in my opinion. Like when you listening to someone thank you or say something serious and all you can do is nod you joystick or mouse up and down 😂
@TheOnlyKontrol oh yeh for sure just listening to people in exodus did get a bit awkward however i find it much better than running the risk of having a shitty system like fallout 4 or even having artym just talk without player input. Personally i find the system used to be the safest and best choice for player enjoyment as a whole. Dont get me wrong though it could be much better but this system does literally 0 harm and can only do good so i personally view it in a very positive light.
Hi! Thanks for the video. I'm yet to watch it to the end, but so far it's awesome. Too bad not many videos are made on the Metro games franchize lately. At 21:18 you've mentioned, that it's strange that metro had vodka supplies. It probably was not the case, and the product they are drinking at that scene is "home-brewed" moonshine, made from mushrooms, that they are cultivating underground as a food source. One of caravaneers even calls it 'shroom vodka right there
@@romanboldyrev2146 I get that they were home brewing it. I was just making a joke out of it because they’re going through the effort to produce vodka when they’re in the middle of a apocalypse. Just Russian things I guess. Glad you’re enjoying the vid! This was my first time playing metro and I absolutely loved it. Aiming to beat last light this week
The fact that you're reviewing my favorite franchises in such great detail is amazing.I,personally, consider you the best video game reviewer on youtube.I first watched your F.E.A.R. vids and the fact that you reviewed Stalker and now Metro makes me feel joy.Keep doing what you love and I'll continue suporting you :) Edit:great video btw
thank you sir! i watched my old fear videos back and honestly cringed at how bad they were lol. I am thinking about remaking the fear videos and do them better. I will combine Fear and extraction point together in one video. that would be my plan
@@Kazaonyt That would be awesome.A nice long video about the 2 best things from the Fear series(I'd also add Fear 2 Reborn since Its much closer to Fear1 and EP than the actual Fear 2 in terms of quality).
I know it's in last light and not 2033, but the last mission there where you defend against the communists and they come in charging is one of the most immersived thing I've ever played through.
Thank you for being the exact type of channel I wanna be one day. This video was very good :) keep up all the hard work, it’ll pay off if you keep putting out bangers like this!!! >:)
Great video so far at around 56:15 you mention the nvgs not working they run on the hand crank just like the flaslight does so unlike the flashlight where it will be barley visible they wont work unless charged could also be a bug lol

1 day ago? What a coincidence, I just finished the metro games and somehow TH-cam already knows it Nice video, I was so nervous when you were not mentioning the safe keys, but eventually you did, now I’m satisfied
So something you missed or atleast never showed Millers advice on the Librarians is literal if your spotted by a Librarian stand perfectly still and stare at its face it will approach you and try to scare you but if you stay still and keep staring at them it will back down and walk away leaving you alone for a couple minutes. ALso they are killable just beyond tanky, hitting them with sticky grenades is the most damage just have to be careful to not blow yourself up lol
@@DevilSlayr yeah he says don’t look them in the eye. Which I thought was a load of BS! because those things were relentless, I probably should have elaborated more on it but most of the footage I got was them attacking and I didn’t know what I was doing wrong. So I just ended running every time one of them ran at me
@Kazaonyt 1:08:46 Miller: don't fight it-- but don't run from it either. The beasts won't attack if you look them in the eye. Remember never let them out of your sight. Show them your back, you die! If the beast gets nervous step back but never turn around!
@@DevilSlayr ohhh, so when they ran at me. I assumed they were going to attack, which made me turn my back on them. I’ve 20 hours on the game and that advice from miller still went over my head lol.
@Kazaonyt yeah they sprint to get close to you and once their a couple feet away they'll stop and stare at you. I can definitely see how most people would panic if they weren't completely aware of what they're supposed to be doing.
Someone else brought this up earlier. Miller straight up tells me to never look away or run. and I forgot the advice lol, i geniuenly thought the librarians were going to kill me everytime they charged at me. so i ran

I do not want to be picky for saying this. But you mentioned at the start that the game is based on a book "Metro 2035" but the first game is based on the first book with the same name "Metro 2033" that the game follows quite closely. While the next game Metro: Last Light follows the next book in the series "Metro 2034" but not as close as the first game since the 2nd book follows 2 stories rather than one (Not really reflected in the game). And finally Metro: Exodus is supposedly based on the "Metro 2035" book... but I did not finishd the book or the game yet... so I have nothing to say about that. For the game itself. I prefer the original over the Redux version. Mainly for the atmosphere since the characters were changed graphicaly in the Redux and the Last Light elements were added like gun modification - scopes, etc... the original version has a special place in my heart. Not only because it plays differently to redux but also because I think it is one of the best games ever released. Finished the game in so many different ways... like knives only. Ranger - Hardcore is the only true way to play the game.
Oh snap. I should’ve looked more into that, my bad. Google instantly came up with metro 2035 so I assumed that was the book (lesson learned) The redux version is incredibly buggy too. I haven’t played the original so I wouldn’t know anything about changes.
@@Kazaonyt No worries. Happens to all of us. For the games. I am not sure how it works because I had the original games before the Redux versions were a thing. But I think Steam gives you the original versions when you buy the Redux ones. For the books. If you do not have them. I would highly recommend them because it is a really good read. Especially for things that you miss in the game simply because it would be too difficult to add or it would make no sense gameplay wise. I dont know if you mentioned it because I am still watching. There are hidden karma points (You hear the sound at 10:05 when you get one. (Also I am not sure the part 10:11 - 10:22 is supposed to be there?) It is either by helping others. Being generous or just listening in on conversations. You get the picture) in the game which allows you to get alternate ending. Both 2033 and Last Light have 2 endings with the karma mechanic so keep that in mind.
