Whoever shot this video is a proper photographic talent.
🥹🥹🥹 shucks thank you - I filmed wth the bmcc 6k ff. You can see the review on my channel
Let me add my congrats to the video shooter. “The medium is the message”
it's pretty narccistic, men die in warsa nothing special or heroic about taking photos
I was about to say ... nice cinematography. Proper documentary style shooting. Loved it... well... I am still watching 😁. P.S. nice color grading too.
"I decided to just look with my eyes for a bit up here, another one of photography's perks"
This is so on point. I always try explaining to people how photography changes your entire view of the world, everything becomes so much more interesting, even the most mundane stuff :)
The contrast between your photographic vision and Joshua’s videography was a joy to experience. Just a stellar submission.
the colours in this video are gorgeous, new fav channel i think
Literally screamed "Noo wayy" when the gentleman with the umbrella walked and stopped in the middle of the frame! 😂 his little steps were adorable ahh love it. Perfect NYE dinner video to watch. Thank you!
He knew the assignment, without knowing.
i screamed the exact same thing "nooooo waaaaaaay" haha
we live in a narccsitic time narccism is on the rise, we are all stars for simply tkaing photos nothing brave or couragous
That was a magnificently perfect moment 😸
This is the first video I've watched in 2024 and I couldn't have picked a better one. Everything is so beautiful: the photos, your attitude and the friendliness of the people. Delighted that you liked Spain and Happy New Year!
Great video. I also watched Tom Heatons video as well.
@@ericerickson6537 I need to watch it too
I’ve shot exclusively digital other than some point and shoot film when I was a kid.
This video really inspired me, to the level I’ve ordered a medium format film camera, a bunch of film and I’ve booked a flight to Seville in March.
Thank you for the motivation to enter a new stage of photography and for the courage to travel again!
Big ❤
I think I had never watched a video on youtube by a creator this long, and I don't regret sticking til the end. This video is the living proof that storytelling is king.
My attention span for videos is 20-25 minutes tops, but not once I wanted to stop or even pause here; this video just flows. The cinematography, the narration, the place itself, and of course the pictures!! Very talented all of you. Thank you for sharing. I have been to 15-16 countries but only the last half as a photographer (hobby, not as a job) and I can attest to the fact that I see things different ever since.
Whoever shoots and edits for you did a super job with this video.
Haha.
Totally agree with the comments. What a trip to experience, I congratulate you for capturing Spain in a friendly and warming way. loved it all.
its so great to see the alt city perspective of Andalucía, I saw Thomas Heaton's shoot and that was all nature, I love the contrast between the two of you where he was no people and nature and you're all about the people and city with lovely portraits. I love the range of photographers they picked to shoot the region.
Yeah, pretty genius concept of the Tourism Board (or whatever) putting this project together. Whoever set this project up with all these creators should get a raise.
@@thedarkslide Hopefully other countries follow suit
Andalucía is not a city....is an autonumus community.
@@sweetmotor2584 He didn’t say it’s a city.
21:32 the music starts rolling after the shot, followed by a pure, joyous smile of satisfaction, am I the only one who rewatches this scene a few times? ❤
Well.....not anymore :)
no! and i really wanna find this song
She should have composed with both the old man and the blind guy
anyone know the name of this song?? please!!! 21:34
@@touge.mx5if you find out, let me know!
I was born and grew up in one of the towns near Cádiz just like the one you went to take portraits of the people. Your video was amazing, and I love how you can see the extraordinary in places that for me are the ordinary, that's beautiful. Seeing how you really apreciate places that are part of my childhood, and how you interacted with people that are just like my close family and friends, and I'm glad to see that they where nice and friendly to you. For most of the people this video can be just a beatiful photography video of a picturesque location. But, for me, it was something else, it really touched something inside me. You are an amazing photographer and artist, and your pictures are a true work of art. Thank you.
(Sorry if my grammar is weird, english is not my mother tongue.)
Beautifully said
You are not alone, I came to the comments after trying to briefly share the overwhelming appreciation I had for this work. It was quickly appearent she touches many people deeply with her increadible talent and the profound nature of her work.
There is an honesty and inquisitive curiosity in her exploration, connection, and consideration that shines through in the exceptional work she produces.
The kind of increadible sensitivity and consideration required to see the world this way and genuinely connect with people on this level can not be faked.
There have been artists in many forms and mediums that have displayed this kind of brilliance in their work it is rare and beautiful to see.
English may not be your first language, but there is nothing weird about the appreciation you share for this work. Again you are not alone in the warmth and admiration you feel for the beautiful side of Humanity she illuminates and the spectacular perspectives she shares with her visual capture.
Such amazing photos, thanks for bringing us along!
Really feels like you've captured a 'moment' with this trip - can't wait to see your photography soar in '24 !
Loved this so much! The photos, the people, the glimpses of Spain!

Good way to ring in the new year; watching another well put together video.
I love you. The storytelling is so serene. What a way to relax.
Excellent journey through the senses. You transported me to every corner and every smile you woke up in people every day! Congratulations on your beautiful work, and to your team!
This was beautiful and amazing!!! Can't wait to see what you create and how you evolve.
Gorgeous photos you got and a wonderful video too. I hadn’t really seen that part of Spain before, I definitely need to add it to the bucket list. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
I usually find a random video that I can kind of watch while I do my journal entry but I had a hard time doing my entry while your video was playing. I could also not tell you the amount of times I caught myself smiling during the video not only at the images you captured but just randomly smiling because the video resonated with me. Not only was the video full of story and amazing photography but it also inspired me to get out there and shoot more images :] THANK YOU!!! 🙏🏻 😊
I adore these long form videos and love this content. Makes me want to shoot film. Thank you for making these.
I am so glad you were chosen for this opportunity! Many thanks for sharing the experience and your process for finding photos and dealing with challenges. What an adventure!
Your patience astounds me. I travel quite a bit, but never have the time to “look” at where I am. We always seem so busy and rushed. Absolutely loved this!
Omg this is so so so good. So happy for you!!!! Your work just keeps getting better and better.
Thank you for taking us along on your journey, enjoyed it so much!
The first trip abroad we ever took with our kids was to that area of Spain. I was thrilled to see Zahara de la Sierra included. I took one of favorite Spain photos in that peaceful little town. I am glad you made it a long video because it was a joy to watch. Congratulations on being included in the project!
This video is simply too beautiful, the photos, joshua's shots, your creativity even when the light isn't perfect. Spectacular! Ciao from Italy

Amazing video, brought back so many memories of my time in Andalucia and southern Spain when flying out of Moron Air Base. This was an amazing video and I thank you and your team for bringing back memories and an amazing point of view from fellow photographers. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more.
This is such a satisfying way to end the year. Your videos are an inspiration for my photography and my own TH-cam videos.
Also be glad you didn't visit Spain in August; you would've been acquainted with the sun much more than you would have liked!
This was wonderful. Your videos have been reigniting the joy I feel I've lost in photography.
Talk about getting lost in this video is an understatement, lost in time and being absorbed into it is what I mean. Thanks, I’m addicted.
literally jaw dropped with these shots. WOW
The photography, videography, audio, Spain, and you all lovely. Thank you!
probably one of the best photography videos I’ve seen in a long time intimate personal and very real Thank you
Your video breathed life back into TH-cam photo video. Beautifully done, incredibly inspiring. Thanks so much.
Having watched hundreds of photographer's videos of their various shoots on you tube, (including a couple of others on the same project) what a delight to see one of my favorite areas of the world with absolutely stunning photographs. As one who was in awe of Andalucia when I visited, your love of the area was so present in the photos you shared with us. Absolutely beautiful presentation and very inspiring to an amateur photographer like my self. Count me as a new subscriber.
My wife is from Andalucía and you captured the essence of the region so beautifully! It’s my favorite part of Spain.
The editing of your videos is really getting slick. I love it. Love your work!
This was a fun adventure to watch and I'm totally visiting Andalucia as soon as possible. And your photos look amazing!

This is the second video of yours I've watched and wow! Thanks for taking us on the journey. Also, the photo of that old man and the umbrella!! Well done!
Awesome video, love your exploration of the Cadiz. The portraits and how you engage with the people are inspirational. the portrait of the lady at 36.26, the eye contact, opening her soul to you. fabulous. Happy New Year.

A fabulous video: pacing, composition, and mood. Great images!
Once again an amazing video, thank you - inspirational
I watched this whole video from beginning to end! It was so inspiring ❤❤
This is incredible. Production quality and photographs are beautiful.
Truly epic film - all 47:59 of it. What a great initiative by the Andalucian authorities for bringing talented creators together and filming their craft. Look forward to seeing what they produce.
Your videos always inspire me, the places you travel to I would love to experience as a photographer. Awesome video
That smile of satisfaction when you walk towards Joshua after waiting patiently for the elderly man to show up and position himself perfectly into the shot....
I love all your work and seeing videos like this inspires me to go out and shoot ❤️
I like the angles of your film photos. It changes my perspective on the art of photography.

Best video to start off 2024 with some serious inspiration! Thank you ❤ and Happy New Year to you ✨
This looks amazing!!! I can't wait to see the rest... I'll be back on this tomorrow!
Great job!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Thank you to the TH-cam algorithm for bringing me to this channel. This video was a refreshing reminder that photography isn’t about the newest and best equipment, but the way you use your equipment to make the art your heart and eyes guide you to.
Honestly one of the best photography documentary. The video pacing was so good and also not deciding to color correct the video footage was another great decision. Best wishes girl.
what makes that a great decision?
@@alexkane1 When you see a color graded footage after seeing a washed out log footage you see the big change. So that creates big differences
@@rohanzucc I didn't expect this angle
I assumed it was intentionally graded to look soft and washed out.
Your videos are very special, with a shooting perspective, a sharing perspective, and a travel perspective. There is also an introduction to the perspective of antique cameras.
Amazing trip! Beautiful work.
Some great pics and great connections, makes me want to go revisit that region, so beautiful! That fishing shot was great! And those portraits!
Totally amazing video! Rewatched so many times. I can’t wait for your next video! Cheers
This is just Beautiful!
Your outfit choices were precise for the locations you were in, especially the first day, walking around on a gloomy day with a pinch of red and mostly subdued colors. chef kiss
amazingly well composed photos!!! wow
Such a nice, fun, and educational video. Love it.
Great video and great commentary. I found it interesting to ŵatch you work and learnt from how you approach street photography. Thank you.
The patience to create that shot of the man with the umbrella + the smile as you walked back. This video is fantastic, but that moment was special.
This might just be the best photography video I've seen on TH-cam so far. Outstanding storytelling and so many amazing moments.
you Must be joking.
@@roygumpel8415truly.
I've seen a couple of these Andalusia videos from other photographers but this hits everything out of the park. It's just so engaging and the quality of the images is just superb. Thanks.
Brilliant work, much appreciated.
My congratulations. In the beginning I was taken just by your honesty, but along the video and the pictures you took, as well as your dedication to old-style photography are just fascinating.
You certainly left some important experiences to several spanish people.
Keep on !
That was phenomenal. You got an entire photobook worth of content all by yourself right there.
The compositions, the colors, the editing, and your patience and ability to judge timing for those portraits and candids... just wonderful stuff.
Subbed for the magical goodness.
My fav video from you! Really inspired me!
An absolute masterpiece of a documentary 🤝🤌
