i actually think the tab is wrong on a few occasions. the rhythm guitar part (the one of the bottom), it looks and sounds like when he plays the C chord during the verse, he actually plays a C, then immediately a C sus4. There is obviously a major band controversy going on here. at any rate - on behalf of every single guitar playing Real Estate fan, PLEASE release more tab. I am in love with your tunes. I need to be playing your songs this summer while sitting on my back porch.
Many more bands should follow their example and post tab videos :)

What kind of guitar is Matt (the top one playing the lead melodies) playing? It's really curious and looked like an absolutely tiny scale length when I saw them live a few weeks back.
He's playing with a vintage (early 60's) Gibson Melody Maker.

Dawns on me this is in 6/8 time. Lovely.
Most of the chorus is in 4/4, making the 6/8 parts all the more badass. And the first solo switches back and forth every bar. The last two bars of each verse (and the buildup) are in 4. And the last bar of each chorus is in 6.
There's some other nuances in there too, especially in the solo section.
To simplify: it's badass.
