Since I couldn't find em anywhere else, here are the names of the musicians Martin Courtney - Guitar/Vocals Alex Bleeker - Bass Matt Mondanile - Guitar Jackson Pollis - Percusion Jonah Maurer - Keyboards
I get that. These songs feels like going back to the neighborhood I grew up in after years of living out of state. Nostalgic. Simultaneously sweet and melancholic.
This is such a beautiful record, front to back. I had a girlfriend from Summit NJ which is not too far from Ridgewood. This is those warm summer nights, walking around the neighborhood amidst the fireflies. Suburban bliss.
Liking the distinctive pop rock guitar sound. The tunes groove with such scenic chord progressions. Its as though Johnny Marr joined The Feelies in a good way.
en esta época lo único que importa es la imagen estos señores, en cambio, demuestran que la imagen no es NADA lo que importa es la esencia y en este caso su música brillante y hermosa !!
I LOVE the way the bass just punches through the mix in the last chorus of Easy. (repost thanks to Google+ once again signing me into my other account... fucks sake)
It's a gibson of some sort [Sorry i cant help with further identification] But Real estate own Guitars straight out of my fantasies what the fuck!!!!!!!!!! Jazz masters.... Fenders for days really....
Gibson ES-175 probably vintage too doesn't look too new and of course alex on fender mustang bass matt on fender jazzmaster jonah on roland juno-d kurt cobain on snare
What happened exactly? I enjoyed his leads so much. Its a shame he really brought everything together. Hopefully the new guy can keep the same vibe going
@@NC-vs7nwhow is he a creep? Julian has a good technique but he lacks passion. Watched him 1st time and though “maybe was a bad night”, the next show? The same, looking like sleeping and playing. Again, he’s talented but he can’t bring what Mondanile did
Beautiful beautiful beautiful. Criminally underrated band. “Days” a 10/10 album.
Saw them in Sydney earlier this month, and they really do remind you of the beautiful things in everyday life.
Since I couldn't find em anywhere else, here are the names of the musicians
Martin Courtney - Guitar/Vocals
Alex Bleeker - Bass
Matt Mondanile - Guitar
Jackson Pollis - Percusion
Jonah Maurer - Keyboards
they make reality seem ok.
How is it that every song they write is fucking amazing. I mean "Green Aisles" might be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard I think.
Municipality is such a sweet piece of music.
These songs make me want to go home. At 31 years old, I'm not sure where that home is.
Inside yourself

Home is where the hatred is.
Green Aisles is such a great tune.

Still watching in December 2019
May 2024
There is something really magical about this slightly dressed down version of Easy; maybe even sweeter than the CD version
I LOVE the way the bass just punches through the mix in the last chorus of Easy.
This is one of my favorite performances ever. I watch it almost every day.
still, my friend?
Did you watch it today?
I understand
Still in the New Year’s Eve?

This might be the best live version of Easy
the guitar tone, the economic style and taste !

These guys are amazing. Seriously, people will still be talking about them in 10 years, or I sure hope so.

Hi Ducktales
been waiting for this, aaaa so lovely.
good to see Jeff Goldblum is pursuing his music career
shame about the lack of harmonies. One of the things that makes their music so great!
GREAT GROUP
Wonderful.
These guys make me want to sleep, but their music is great.
vocals like Ira Kaplan.

What made you think of this
The Gaming Historian on lead vocals!
Nice stuff. Vocally, sounds very 90s (E.Smith, Cobain, Oasis-ish)
Lol I get 2/3...Cobain? He was shit.
finally
what about em
Ohh, you're right. It's almost like i can hear a Smithyyy voice
No one even looks like Jeff Goldblum o_O
Our careless lifestyles, it was not, so unwise. :)

School of Rock, antidepressants, adderall, ambien, and bariatric surgery really changed music.
