I think the railcar segment was the one I surprisingly found most interesting. That's actually really cool.

Back in October ‘04 I bought a Brute Force 750 in Desert Yellow. Very cool seeing the same machine in the toy room. Brings up a lot of great memories.

I love Kawasaki! It started with my dad. He bought a '75 Z1 900 back in the day and was so impressed that he stuck with the brand and it carries with me. I've had so many over the years and they always performed. Glad to see them manufacturing here in the good ol USA

yeah, those train cars are the three varations of the R211 class of subway car for MTA New York City Transit (which for disclaimer purposes, is my employer. I'm a subway train conductor) "R211A" is what you see the most of. these are the standard style car body with end bulkheads and storm doors between the cars.
But you can also see in the wide shot of the factory floor "R211T" cars. these are the MTA's return to open connections between the cars. These open gangway cars follow in the footsteps of the Pre World War Two privately run Brooklyn Rapid Transit company, who actually introduced the idea of things like articulation and cars connected by gangways with the D-Type "Triplex" cars in the 1920s.
Sprinkled through the room is also the prototype train of the "R211S", which will run on the separate and operationally somewhat unique Staten Island Railway. It was built as mainline rail, got downgraded to a legal rapid transit line, but still operates as if it was a legal railroad.

Great information, thanks! We weren't told much about the train cars while there, only that they could end up in places like Washington DC and NYC.

Well done. It's good to see where and how this stuff is built. Is anything in the atv/utv world built in Canada? Like for cars, I try to buy things made as close to home as possible.

They also produce rockets here in Japan. Either way, no American-made Kawasaki product will ever be as good as the ones made here in Japan because of the American work ethic.

its when you see throught all the process that you understand why things you buy cost more than you would like to, i mean those machinery making pieces at the plant wont upkeep and maintain themself out of nothing, workers wont go to work for free either, i am not one of those many folks who cry everytimes because '' ThINgs aRE sO ExpEnsIVes NoWAdaY!'' , when they do i always say to them ; do you want to live a life of simplicity with the bare minimum or even less, asking for minimum wage unregarding of what you do for a living? they usually say no way then i reply who on this planet is willing to do that? no one. so nothing is going to lower and always go higher, everybody want the most they can get for the little they can do for. this goes for company too. anyway i drifted a little here but just to say that i am always impressed with how much things are involved to bring you ''x'' products , its something that is often overlooked, lots of energy spent to create these products
