Hey Airtime Thrills. Fellow Coaster enthusiast and former ride operator (Nickelodeon Universe MN) and im really loving your channel. Just thought Id let you know that the city Vallyfair is located is pronounced "Shaw-co (like co worker)-pee" (Its all good, lots of folks from out of state get it wrong). Also your right about Excalibur, its been on the chopping block even before the expansion. There has been talks of Vallyfair acquiring either a brand new or used B&M Invert. If its a used model, one of the options is said to be one of the former tracks from the Dueling Dragons/Dragons Challenge attraction from Universal Studios.
Valleyfair is my home park, and, I agree, Excalibur is doomed. I’m surprised it wasn’t higher on your list. It’s tucked way back in the back of the park and hardly anyone goes back there anymore. When I first moved to Minnesota in 1990, it was a really big deal, but that was when Valleyfair only had about 3 coasters.

I think Superman at Six Flags Magic Mountain days are numbered. Six Flags sent out that survey a while back about some concepts regarding that area. Also Tower of Terror II which is the other coaster like Superman just closed down in November. Plus Six Flags is only running one side of the train. With the money they have pumped into Viper it would not surprise me that Superman goes first and then Viper down the line.
I'm one of the few people who really doesn't like Superman Escape From Krypton. I mean, it's not terrible. It's just boring and REALLY LOUD! And with the new homes going up around the park... I think you're onto something.
@@DoswarePictures The one problem with that theory is that Intamin's Xcelerator, the very first version of their Accelerator coasters (these include Kingda Ka, Top Thrill Dragster, etc) exists at a Cedar Fair park about an hour away in Orange County. I'm not sure Six Flags would want to replicate that ride so close to a park that already has such a thing.
Josh Green I see what you mean, although both parks have B&M inverts. While they opened 10 years apart, It’s been a longer period since now and the opening of Xcellerator. And I was thinking of a coaster twice as tall as Xcellerator.
@@DoswarePictures Oh for sure if Six Flags went in that direction it'd be massive in scale. It'd probably be taller than Kingda Ka. Though an accelerator coaster would be wider than the area that Superman currently inhabits. We'll have to see!

Another great video! It would of been nice to get a couple predictions for the top coasters to be replaced though. Like what do you wanna see at Magic Mountain or Kings Dominion?! Take care and keep up the fun content!
Vortex at kings island was absolutely my favorite ride for nostalgia reasons. I will definitely miss it. I got on it for the last time during the last weekend of haunt, and they had put the dates up and took pictures. Very sad
SHOCK-A-PEEEEE. I love Excalibur. It’s a great coaster, however I’m sad valleyfair never gets anything new and is “second class” cause it my home park. Along with Nickelodeon universe 🙄
My all-time favorite arrow coaster is definitely Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood. It's such a good ride with a short wait, beautiful layout built on a mountain, and a beautiful view. I hope it never gets taken down.
i have been wondering this for so long. What is the part on the wooden coasters where the train is going up a hill and a part helps it make it all the way to the top of the hill?
Your description of Anaconda ("a pointless coaster with a pointless layout") can also be applied to Cedar Point's Cedar Creek Mine Ride. With a maximum height of no more than 50 feet, a top speed (on a good day) of 40 mph, and cars with a rather antiquated restraint system, I would have no objections to seeing it replaced. Frontiertown already has Maverick and Steel Vengeance, so perhaps I'm being greedy for wanting to see a third top-notch coaster in that area of the park. If not a coaster, then a nice dark ride or even a water ride would be a good replacement. Thanks for the thoughtful video.
Personally I think Judge Roy Scream at SFOT will get the Axe. It’s an overall rough and boring ride, however, it has some of the prettiest views of any coaster ever. It sits next to a lake and is at a separate area outside of the park. I could see Six Flags adding something really big in the next 10 years there. (Possibly a giga) I also think that Six Flags might buy property where Globe Life Park was.
It sounds like Canada has a protectionist law saying that you need to use Canadian companies to do work as long as they're qualified to do so before a foreign company is allowed to come in. RMC uses their own builders
Your an employee right? So I heard Eagle is getting new trains? Is this true......I hope it does as it would be stupid to close the ride just cause the park is to lazy to replace the old trains........I’m really scared about American Eagle....I get its old...but I love it the way it is.....but I do wish the park would race it again as they don’t do it anymore possibly due to stress/ structural issues on the helix, and reports of rowdy guests throwing objects at each other while the trains are racing. I wish the park would repair and refurbish the coaster to get it racing again.....but I feel the park president Hank Salemi is not gonna do it......As cool of an RMC redo would be.....I’m just worried the coasters layout would be cut in half like with Twisted Cyclone. Plus I really dig the name too. Im dreading the day when it is announced to close..... 😰🥺😥
@@tigerrocks503 I have no idea, I don't work with eagle, but I can *probably* say that that rumor is false, and us employees are told nothing, lol never trust anybody, but from what it seems eagle is going to stay for the time being.
Well that relieves my stress a bit.....but I’m still bothered by the fact that the park needs to fix the issue with it not racing anymore. A talked to a employee one day working at Eagle. Only blue was running and the line was pretty long which is annoying as running the red side would of made the capacity much better, even if they can’t duel it. So after I got off the blue train....I asked one of the employees why it does not duel anymore? He simply told me that they are not allowed to anymore.....kinda stinks as it kinda defeats the purpose of a racing coaster.
1. Anything with a recent new paint job has plans to be around for awhile. 2. Valley Fair has such few coasters there that it would be hard to justify a removal, especially without a good replacement. 3. California Great America Grizzly had enough recent track work done to ride almost as smooth as a steel coaster. 4. Cedar Fair also looks at the cost per ride of each person, which may or may not say much, because the best rides probably cost the most. 5. In my opinion, I agree with about 95% of all your opinions, across all your videos.
I am a big fan of airtime thrills and normally the videos are great, but mentioning Gemini on here? That ride still lands constantly in the top 5 for ridership in the park. It also is one of Cedar Point’s only good coasters at 48”. There are some great spots to expand that do not require the removal of gemini or any ride for that matter, like the location of the old cedars employee housing. Gemini is a coaster that will be around a lot longer, other coasters in the park are way more problematic and take up a similar amount of space.
As a local to Carowinds, I have to say that Carolina cyclone and nighthawk are both coasters that I would love to stay as a time capsule of design, but I'd have no problem for them to get axed in favor of something better if there was good reason to remove them. If anything, I'd love to have a new wooden coaster on the plot of land that houses nighthawk. A lot of people are still very sad and very disappointed that Carolina thunder road was removed.
If Time Warp gets sent to my home park, I’m gonna file a class action lawsuit against Cedar Fair, Zamperla, Paramount, Mutual Film Company, Square Enix, Canada, and Muskegon.
No Seaworld Coasters lol, I think Scorpion May be going soon as it just is so small and useless at BGT. They won’t even give it a new paint job which is odd, as Cheetah Hunt and Kumba both got new ones.
I have never had any headbanging at all on Viper at SFMM. Granted, I've always sat towards the front, but I find the coaster smooth and I would be sad to see it go.
I would say more likely to take out Tidal wave and use the space that it sits in and where Green Lantern was. They could even keep it a water ride just bigger and updated.
Yes. I never found Viper to be that bad in the way of roughness so I don’t see what the fuss is about with that one. Granted, it’s not the smoothest thing in the world, but it’s not unbearably rough IMO, either.
Canada's Wonderland still has some land available by overlapping coasters, CW can also use part of their parking lot to, since their parking lot is so massive.
@@invertedthrills144 I guess that's why it was removed. It wasn't so bad, but I noticed on rcdb that all of Kings Island's looping coasters pulled greater than 3gs. I think they need a "low intensity" "family" inverting looping coaster.
What are your thoughts on Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Virginia? For me personally, they need to redesign the cars because I can barely fit in them!
Was super surprised to see Anaconda in the top spot for removal. But i guess thats because my home parks growing up were Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion so I was used to Anaconda and how rough it was 15 years ago. I remember even then I would wait until the end of the day to ride it because I knew it would involve getting a headache because I would just go ride it like 3 or 4 times in a row. Being one of if not my first looping coaster I think it stood as a favorite for some time. It will be sad to see it go but in comparison to Lock Ness Monster an hours drive away it does not hold up especially considering how much older Nessie is. It had a great run but I guess in the grand scheme of things your probably right in that its days are numbered. Good video!
2:04 You know Viper’s still there right? I know you’re talking about the Mega Loopers, but ok. Also if someone like B&M made modern clones of them I wouldn’t be as sad to see it go. Also I’m nervous on RMC’s future as they may do too many projects at once. Gemini’s removal is going to anger GP->E. Removing GA’s Green Lantern makes sense as it’s awful, and we already have a floor less. Just convert it and give it to Frontier City for an easy attendance booster. Considering were receiveing JDevil in 2020, 2023 would be a perfect oppurtunity to put a big flagship ride. Why is that the first coaster I see when in the parking lot is Green Lantern (K Ka excluded).
As a former ride op at six flags great America, it’s a rumor that American Eagle can’t go anywhere due to new building codes. If they get rid of it, they could never put anything in it’s place due to its proximity to the highway. Most likely, they’ll give it the RMC treatment in order to keep their land

My home park is Six flags Great America and eagle is the by far the most painful coaster at the park( some people may disagree because of demon) but I think some sort of RMC similar to twisted colossus or possibly a raptor I would love to see either though.
Dragon mountain (another Arrow looper) at Marine Land in Canada could get the axe... But that could be said for the entire park.
Goliath from Six Flags New England will probably be transferred to La Ronde as that is where they dump all their failed Magic Mountain coasters.
I like how the time warp and flight deck plot is shaped like a thumbs down
SO EXCITED FOR THIS VIDEO!!! CANT WAIT TO SEE IT!!! I love this channel, love the intro, great song, one of my favorites
Id rather have gemini than a dueling gci
It's amazing how many useless rides there are at Canada's Wonderland. Never has it been such a hindrance to ride 14 coasters.
The Adventure Outpost unpopular opinion, I think Canada’s Wonderland has a very solid top 5, maybe even 6.
@@rivertownproductions definitely debatable and to each their own but I feel like outside of Yukon, Levi, Behemoth, and Vortex there is much left to be desired with regards to the rest of the park.
It’s just like Energylandia. Over half of their lineup is kiddie coasters.
@@DoswarePictures And I bet you that Energylandia's new for 2020 Expansion with the Vekoma Multi Launcher will have at least 1 new Kiddie Coaster too.
Soonjai if I were a Six Flags executive, I would’ve added another kiddie coaster for Magic Mountain so that WCR could still be their 20th coaster.
In graphic design, we had this project where we would make a “vision board”, after which, we went around rating other peoples’ vision boards. We had to give one good thing and one bad thing about each one. One of the bad things I wrote were: “You put Viper in your vision board”
4:05 I can tell you first hand that they aren’t going to scrap The Demon. They just finished renovating it with some of its original theming from 1980, so it’s here to stay. The Grizzly, however, is always closed. It opens late every day and it’s definitely on the chopping block.
I agree with you demon ain't going nowhere a lot of work has gone into that coaster and it feels much smoother than before the grizzly on the other hand may get the RMC treatment
Scrap the grizzly please. :)

3 Options for CW:
1. Remove Wilde Beast and The Bat and Speed City Raceway and add a ground up RMC Hybrid like Zadra.
2. Remove Flight Deck and Time Warp and add a Record breaking wing coaster.
3. A Mack Extreme Spinning Coaster were action theatre is.
Jeremy Coasters all of those sound good to me. CW really needs more good coasters.
I say we need a b&m invert before a Mack
I’ll take an RMC Wilde Beast as long as they make a Fraggle Rock reboot and use it for a Traveling Matt segment.
I also want a spin off of Step by Step and use Twisted Colossus in the opening.
Jeremy Coasters I wouldn’t be surprised to see Time warp and flight deck replaced by an invert
Dosware Pictures Can’t be done without Jerry Nelson.
I think you're going to end up having most of these Cedar Fair ones removed for sure. Mostly bad rides, although I still really enjoy Gemini.
I see CP removing the mine ride before Gemini. The longest wait I've ever seen for it is 10 minutes, which was on the literal busiest day they've ever had.
@@TheSonicsean That's because it has a height requirement of 48in. What else has a 48in requirement at CP? Well Gemini, Magnum, Millenium Force, and Blue Streak. Why the hell would anyone that height want to ride the boring mine ride when they can ride any of those? If CP replaced the trains so smaller kids could ride CCMR could be a decent family coaster but instead it's unloved.
Mine ride is great, y'all are just mean
@@danielles3841 it holds tremendous sentimental value for many but takes up prime real estate in the park and is in pretty big danger of getting closed soon.
Goliath at Six Flags America is never open?
Well, as a former SFGA season passholder, that sentence gives me...Deja Vu.
Hahaha true that
RIP Deja Vu
Valleyfair is my home park, and, I agree, Excalibur is doomed. I’m surprised it wasn’t higher on your list. It’s tucked way back in the back of the park and hardly anyone goes back there anymore. When I first moved to Minnesota in 1990, it was a really big deal, but that was when Valleyfair only had about 3 coasters.
I think canadas wonderland should remove flight deck and time warp and put in a large invert or flyer in that plot of land.
Maybe a Vekoma launched flyer (if they would actually build a coaster in America)
"There is a law preventing RMC from doing their work in canada"

Holy crap, with this amount of support we can take this to the parlement!

Its cause Canada hates us because they got Green Lantern First Flight
JadenTheRobRenzettiFan NAUTTP Why didn’t Paramount build a South Park at CW? Is it because it’s too mature? Or because Time Warner co-owned Comedy Central at the time?
What is that? The sound of maple syrup getting wasted of the sound of bad poutine??
LoL
GCI has their own steel track, I've heard GCI should retrack Wildcat
Lindsay Yale Entertainment Rather have RMC do it though
I think it would be fitting to have their first retrofit (if they're gonna do them) to be their first coaster.
That’s just my opinion. Yeah It looks Cool but do they have the space?
@@SomeRandomAccount5 to retrack Wildcat, no doubt. Depends if it's just a retrack or they want retrofit. Haven't seen them do one. I'm sure they could fit something there. I believe there is space around the ride even.
As of April 2024, over four years later, you guessed three correct - 13. Wicked Twister (closed 2021), 8. Wildcat (closed 2022, RMCed 2023 -- as you guessed), and 5. Goliath/SFNE (closed 2019). Desperado is still SBNO. The video date is 12/3/2019 so there are still eight months to go...
Wicked Twister is LOOOOOOOONG gone and Face-Off is still going strong at KI!
I think others on this list should be(wanted to mention 2 good slc’s, Riddles Revenge and Fly-The Great Nor’ Easter
Sea Serpent- Morey’s piers
Skull Mountain- Six Flags Great Adventure
The Wildcat- Lake Compound( don’t know how to spell)
Canobie Corckscrew- Canobie Lake Park
Flying Ace Arial Chase- Carrowinds
Rougorou- Cedar Point(again with the spelling)
Mind Eraser- Elitch Gardens,Darien Lake, Six Flags America
El Condor- Walibi Belgium
7:12 Valleyfair’s my home park and honestly I’ll take anything at this point.

@@AirtimeThrills haha I don't blame you. We got some hard ones in the Midwest
Thank you so much. This is also my home park
Valleyfair is so far past the point of needing a new coaster it’s not even funny.
SpotTheSteez i would gladly take even a boomerang at this point
I think Superman at Six Flags Magic Mountain days are numbered. Six Flags sent out that survey a while back about some concepts regarding that area. Also Tower of Terror II which is the other coaster like Superman just closed down in November. Plus Six Flags is only running one side of the train. With the money they have pumped into Viper it would not surprise me that Superman goes first and then Viper down the line.
Alan Trotter if only if Six Flags could put in a better Kingda Ka.
We'll have to see!
oml this was the video the coaster communitty could have used so people would shut up about the final terrible woodies, and viper. epic video
You forgot about Steel Curtain getting redone and opening as Curtain's Revenge
Go ride Excalibur! Omg it’s so fun! It’s my favorite ride at ValleyFair and it’s so sad to think they might take it out…
It's sad that the alleged plans for the spot in the park isn't even gonna be for a new coaster either. There's rumors of it just being a staff parking lot
I can’t wait to come back to this video 5 years from now and see which of these coasters are still standing.
Airtime: Have you ever had that coaster that you wanted to ride but it closed down?

Another great video! It would of been nice to get a couple predictions for the top coasters to be replaced though. Like what do you wanna see at Magic Mountain or Kings Dominion?! Take care and keep up the fun content!
Wicked Twister: *Laughs* I’m REALLY in danger! 😅
So far, only Wicked Twister and Goliath are entirely gone. Wildcat was RMC'd and Desperado is being prepared to potentially reopen
I got scared when V2 from SFDK was in the thumbnail
Same it's one of my favorites at SFDK
last time I was there I just kept riding it over and over
When are you going to valleyfair this year ?
Dope channel aways strongly look forward to new videos keep them coming airtime
From what I saw, so far he’s right about wicked twister and wildcat
I'll come back to this video 5 years from now and see how many of the 20 (21) coasters have been removed, lol
My all-time favorite arrow coaster is definitely Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood. It's such a good ride with a short wait, beautiful layout built on a mountain, and a beautiful view. I hope it never gets taken down.
I was just listening to another bites the dust on my way home from school and got deja vu
i have been wondering this for so long. What is the part on the wooden coasters where the train is going up a hill and a part helps it make it all the way to the top of the hill?
People who are here after 4 years

GEMINI TO MICHIGAN"S ADVENTURE
That would be much better than removing it. It holds to much value to me
Sure. Then my mom is gonna call it the Step by Step Coaster.
Maybe
You can't relocate that ride, it is welded together.
GP To Enthusiast skissors work
You were right about wildcat and wicked twister
V2??? YOU TAKE THAT BACK!!! 😭😭😭
I'm out of the loop on the RMC-Canada thing (pun maybe intended?) But whats up with RMC and Canada?
It sounds like Canada has a protectionist law saying that you need to use Canadian companies to do work as long as they're qualified to do so before a foreign company is allowed to come in. RMC uses their own builders
Airtime Thrills Protectionism is a terrible thing in North America and this is one of the downsides. Shame on you, Canada!
@@patrickholland901 United States does a lot more protectionism then Canada.
TIL thanks for the tidbit!
Always coming up with good lists
RMC American Eagle, Six Flags Great America
American Eagle
to
*MAGNIFICENT EAGLE!!!!!*
I would like New American Eagle. Cause I like it’s name. Just put new in front of it like New Texas Giant.
the joke with us employees is "Ste-gle"
The dislike is from someone who was on a roller coaster who tried to like the video
I clogged the toilet nah, it’s because of V2.
The Demon is a classic, this was my first ride when it was Marriott Great America and I loved it.
California’s Great America, or Six Flags Great America?
Both parks were originally Marriotts Great America.
Damn it my noti didn’t work...well I saw your insta and I clicked faster then dragster after that
I am a big fan of airtime thrills and normally the videos are great, but mentioning Gemini on here? That ride still lands constantly in the top 5 for ridership in the park. It also is one of Cedar Point’s only good coasters at 48”. There are some great spots to expand that do not require the removal of gemini or any ride for that matter, like the location of the old cedars employee housing. Gemini is a coaster that will be around a lot longer, other coasters in the park are way more problematic and take up a similar amount of space.
The only time ive like american eagle is when they run it backwards. Its kinda rough but if i remember is smoother in reverse.
Ok, so you want them to send Flight Deck instead?
Maybe repaint it yellow and red?
TheSonicsean sure. It would flush Twisted Colossus down the toilet.
@@TheSonicsean They have to change the restraints to much less painful one
Square Enix? why that? I understood the other ones but what did se do
@@dangerdoge4113 they’re the current owner of the Tomb Raider series after acquiring Eidos in 2009
No Seaworld Coasters lol, I think Scorpion May be going soon as it just is so small and useless at BGT. They won’t even give it a new paint job which is odd, as Cheetah Hunt and Kumba both got new ones.
James it’s good as someone’s first looping coaster, but yeah, I’d like to see a repaint, maybe new trains like on Revolution.
I saw Gemini in the thumbnail and started saying to myself, “It’s just a video.. It’s just a video...”
Unless you have a future video on this, but I do have a question. How much land has Lagoon developed?
I can look into it, it may be tough since its not part of a chain. But they have plenty of room around the park if they wanna buy it
@@AirtimeThrills I do agree they got a good amount of land
I have never had any headbanging at all on Viper at SFMM. Granted, I've always sat towards the front, but I find the coaster smooth and I would be sad to see it go.
I would say more likely to take out Tidal wave and use the space that it sits in and where Green Lantern was. They could even keep it a water ride just bigger and updated.
Yes. I never found Viper to be that bad in the way of roughness so I don’t see what the fuss is about with that one. Granted, it’s not the smoothest thing in the world, but it’s not unbearably rough IMO, either.
Last time I visited a few years ago it was so painful I spent the rest of the day nursing a headache.
@@98dizzard I've had much worse experiences with Scream than Viper.
Canada's Wonderland still has some land available by overlapping coasters, CW can also use part of their parking lot to, since their parking lot is so massive.
0:12. I rode Vortex for the first (and only time) in July.
I rode it 4 times over my last visit. I actually really liked it. It had a minimal line so it was easy to ride.
@@invertedthrills144 I guess that's why it was removed. It wasn't so bad, but I noticed on rcdb that all of Kings Island's looping coasters pulled greater than 3gs. I think they need a "low intensity" "family" inverting looping coaster.
We'll all miss vortex
What are your thoughts on Loch Ness Monster at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Virginia? For me personally, they need to redesign the cars because I can barely fit in them!
I love it, i think its still really smooth, and its a classic
I mean, in another universe Desperado was able to survive nuclear fallout so I don't think it's going anywhere.
Earlier today on Kentucky kingdom’s Instagram they teased that they were removing T3 and tagged RMC
