A Note to you John Williams naysayers: First off, NO ONE can replace him. Who says so? His 52 Academy Award nominations and 5 oscars. ONLY Walt Disney has more at 59 nominations. He has been composing for 70s years for movies and television and has more experience than any movie composer living and dead. Sure, someone can start writing in his place when he stops but no one will match his accomplishments. I am always amazed at the jealousy and desire to belittle his work. I think most real musicians recognize his amazing and unmatched talent but some still feel the need to say something negative.
