@@AndSendMe I'm sorry, but there isn't a single thing John Williams has done wrong musically or otherwise in this franchise, every single thing he has done for Star Wars has been nothing short of magical. When getting his AFI Life Achievement Award in 2016, John Williams recounted this story:
When Steven Spielberg finished a rough cut of 1993's Schindler’s List, he brought composer John Williams, his veteran collaborator and longtime friend, into his projection room to screen the Holocaust drama and discuss their strategy for the score. Together, they watched the film, but when it was over, Williams was overwhelmed and not quite ready to speak.
“I went out to walk around the building to gather myself and come back to start the meeting. I said, 'Steven, this is truly a great film and you need a better composer than I for this film.’ And he said, very sweetly, ‘I know, but they’re all dead.'”

His work is known worldwide and has been for forty plus years, not just Star Wars, but the Indiana Jones films as well. You know instantly when you hear the opening music for Star Wars what it's from without having to be told. Like the Ride of the Valkryie from Wagner's Ring Cycle or the Wedding March that is played at countless weddings every day from the opera Lohengrin, it's instantly known. I think someday it will be the same with Williams someday.

This warms my heart! All the props commemorating his Oscar nominations was such a lovely touch.
I was surprised that he did not have a cameo before.

Had no idea about the other film prop Easter Eggs. The Indiana Jones whip reminds me of the Star Wars-Jones comic strip cross over. Its wonderful an referance is actually in a Star Wars film now. ♡

I noticed his cameo when I saw the movie in theaters! I practically screamed but no one else seemed to notice so I looked like an idiot. Still proud of myself for noticing, though!!
