Then when I learned about his death being a vote by ‘fans’, and that the vote was rigged, it seemed like an even worse idea. Then last when he was brought back, that feeling of still living with the mental pain of his last moments of his previous life before he died, I felt like it was a brutal and violent way to live/die.

He nearly kills heretic for Damian and nearly kills Joker for Elliot who is a friend, not his son, and Joker didn't even kill him. Jason is the forgotten middle child of the batfam.

I think the reason Dick Grayson's death in injustice is kinda "lame" is because it's supposed to speak to the fact that regardless of all their amazing feats as Batman/Robin/Nightwing etc. these people are all still just human, one stray bullet/knife wound, one minute longer of the bleeding from their wounds and so on and they'd die. People tend to forget that a lot of times and this death is to remind everyone these guys aren't immortal.
I honestly don't really like how Dick died in injustice. Breaking his neck on a rock? Really? I get it, it's supposed to be shocking how he died after all he had went through, but there were so many ways that could have made it more depressing and less like a joke. Like drowning, or getting thrown into traffic. I think the best one would have been more poetic, a grappling hook error/a distraction (by Damian, to keep it to the comic) and falling to his death, the thing that birthed Nightwing being how he died. IDK, it would have been more interesting and, like I said, poetic.
I hope you realize that there are many teen superheroes who’s parents also let them fight villains. And plus these Robin’s are really skilled at fighting yes they are human but like they have very high skill in fighting that’s the whole point of being a sidekick. Batman knew the risk plus these kids are in the comics will not listen if they wanna fight they will fight cause they think they are worthy.

7 deadly sins of Batman: Pride - Richard Grayson Lust - Barbara Gordon Gluttony - Jason Todd Envy - Tim Drake Sloth - Stephanie Brown Wrath - Jean-Paul Valley Greed - Damian Wayne
I read the story of Damian's death multiple times, Talia never wanted Damian dead, she wanted him back at her side. She killed the heretic because he killed Damian. The whole war was a plan to take damian back by force because he wanted to stay with batman
Batman is SURELY used to "robin" being killed... Does Batman never get's tired of replacing robin? Beacuase it seems everyone wants to kill robin in eny moment.
In the Arkham Games, it was revealed how Jason escaped in the Arkham Comic. He didn’t escape, instead The Joker actually trains and conditions him to hate Batman and becomes Arkham Knight. The comic is called Arkham Knight Genesis.
The new 52 movies seriously changed my opinion on Damian Wayne, he’s more of a likeable character as the movies go on especially at the finale of apokolips war
That applies to all three Robins. *Grayson:* Falls on a rock (It was a big rock...) *Damion Wayne:* Almost everyone in Injustice 2 wants him imprisoned or dead, for accidently causing Grayson's death, for defecting to the Regime, and/or for being obnoxiously overconfident *Jason Todd:* Dies before the events of the game, resurrects only to find that most of Injustice 2's roster wants him arrested or dead for his lethal methods, or for just not being a member of the Regime or the Justice League.
6:43 Seeing Tim die was really painful to read but oh fuck batman's promise and speech to zod is one of my favourite lines of his. "I could never use it on Clark, not after what it made him do. But you..... you killed one of my boys, you should be afraid of me because I'm gonna fuck you up!"
I had no problem with Dick's death in Injustice. I think the accidental tragedy aspect works in the story. It's important bc both sides blame each other and also share guilt and remorse.
Imma be honest, “killing” jason todd but having him come back as red hood was one of the best idea ever....cause red hood is one of my all time favorites
Before this vid begins, if Jaybird isnt no. 1, i will absolutely flip my shit. My dear sweet babybird... no matter which version, always gives me the feels. A street kid, child abuse, hinted child prostitution, stepmother's drug abuse, true mother's abandonment, etc., etc. I agree that criminals sometimes deserve to die, as extreme as it is
I really wanted Tim in Injustice 2, so seeing him not there really made me disappointed :( now that I know hes dead I guess he probably wont be in the third game either
I think when Damian accidently kills Dick, it's meant to be shocking and surprising. Damian is in the middle of questioning batman's code of not killing people, and how that code leads to more deaths than if they just killed the joker or any other villains who Damian thinks deserve death. This all goes down at Arkham asylum where superman has come to take the prisoners to an underwater prison that is essentially inescapable because the only way in or out is through teleportation. Batman and his crew arrive to face Superman, and to tell him that what he is doing is wrong, among that crew is Damian and Dick, and when a battle breaks out, they're still in the middle of arguing about the code. Damian gets frustrated and ends up tossing one of Dicks weapons back at him rather aggressively. He doesn't mean for it to kill him, but he does want it to do some kind of damage. It ends up hitting him right in the head, and he falls over, cracks his neck, and dies on the spot. Damian is instantly filled with dread. He rushes over to see if dick is ok but it's already too late. He's just realized he killed his own brother. It's a really shocking moment because it was an accident, and it's made very clear that it is. While some of the stronger heroes continue to fight around them, batman stops and picks up his dead son in this really harrowing moment. Now he has lost, just as Superman has lost his wife and unborn child. It shows that just because you lose someone so close to you, doesn't mean you have to change. Superman killed Lois on accident, and Damian killed Dick on accident too. Accidents happen, and the rest of injustice shows how the different heroes can handle such traumatic events. It's really engaging story telling in my opinion. Batman knows that Dick's death was an accident, and he chooses to not let it affect his code, unlike Superman, who handles the death of Lois really poorly and becomes a tyrant and a monster. Now I don't blame Superman, but this situation really highlights these characters differences and it's a really interesting story in my opinion.
Hot Take: I think Dick Grayson's death in Injustice works BECAUSE it's anticlimactic. If Damien and Dick actually duked it out, it would take away from the impact the fight had. Before this point in the story (as far as I remember) while a lot of people, heroes, villains or otherwise, had died, Nightwing was the first to die simply due to the consequences of the two factions fighting. The impact was clearly seen when everyone stopped fighting so Bruce could carry away his son. Damien also clearly suffered from it when he said "He always caught it..." (referring to the stick thingy he threw at Nightwing leading to him losing his balance and falling) To Damien, he essentially did the Batfamily equivalent of throwing a pillow at your sibling because you're messing with each other. And that's why I think it works. Because it really was just two brothers having a spat leading to one of them dying.
Jason's death was just so terrifying. Like the face he made at the end just showed that he realized and accepted his defeat. Even sadder is how he was seen as the blacksheep of the batfamily because he was so agressive and craving jokers death. How he felt unimportant and not wanted. All the pain he went through (mostly in Arkham Knight )and yet batman didn't want to kill joker. Yes, batman has his golden rule of not killing but he could have broken it for just once even if it's not right what joker did to not only jason but also Tim etc. was just way to much.
I love seeing one of Bats' strongest villains turning around and doing something amazing for once, honestly Ra's Al Ghoul bringing back Bruce's son because he felt bad about inadvertently getting him killed, it's just one of best moments you can witness.
Dick Grayson’s death showed just how easily anyone could be killed. Even something as simple as a accidental broken neck. Really hit home for me how people could just be killed off.
Just before the moment you said Stephanie brown I was going to write in the comments section "what about Stephanie brown" also I had suspicions of the arkham Knight being red hood
My favorite was Stephanie's death. Yeah, it was rec-conned, but originally, it was suppose to be permanent, so I count it as a 'death'. My favorite fake death was DG's in the Spyral story line.
at 7:25 i have that comic man it scard me for life first time i read it still remember the women who speak so highly of robin when she died.. man .... that some deap stuff
Dick dying on accident in injustice is absolutely amazing. A climactic death would've been less impact full. The fact that damian didn't mean to kill him, he did something that he was 100% certain would be blocked and it wasn't which ended up killing what was essentially his big brother. The fact that he was also fucked up about it, but couldn't go to anyone to talk about it, ultimately pushing him closer to superman and the regime, was an absolutely amazing decision.
Wwhoooaa.. 5. That’s so mad. 4. Damien Wayne?...never heard of him...but I still feel sorry for him. Oh that’s very relieving I guess. 3. Rest In Peace Nightwing. 2. Tim Drake in the teen titans I thought Dick Grayson was the leader of the teen titans. 1. Jason Todd....he’s such an unlucky birdie... I feel very very sorry for these Robins.
Cuz of the injustice games, the comics were sadly forced to do a lot of dumb stuff like they kinda had to deal with Tim in some way as he never appeared in injustice 2. Maybe the animated movie will change that though as hopefully it’ll have lots of freedom in its creation.
It's still just shocking how Bruce didn't receive many complaints over the lack of pants on some occasions. I wonder if they were afraid of being fired if they wanted to trade in the speedo

🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻 damian wayne
Feel like Dick Grayson should be Lust he has banged alot of the hottest chicks in D.C.
I read the story of Damian's death multiple times, Talia never wanted Damian dead, she wanted him back at her side. She killed the heretic because he killed Damian. The whole war was a plan to take damian back by force because he wanted to stay with batman
DC: "They're *TEEN* titans"
Also DC: 5:05
Yaaaaaa
they’re 16-19 years old , that’s why
Batman is SURELY used to "robin" being killed...
Does Batman never get's tired of replacing robin? Beacuase it seems everyone wants to kill robin in eny moment.
Jason’s face before he is blown up. He was just like: “Screw it, I’ve lived long enough and nearly beaten to death.”
Stephanie Brown deserves much more recognition. Not to mention her Spoiler costume is so much cooler than any Robin costume.
15:14 Jason was about to say "You don't do that to your BROTHERS".Touching moment(well almost).
" Your little buddy sidekicked the bucked didn't he? "😂😂😂

I love Jason Todd, he’s my favorite robin and red hood is one of my favorite dc characters too, well after Batman and green arrow
In the Arkham Games, it was revealed how Jason escaped in the Arkham Comic. He didn’t escape, instead The Joker actually trains and conditions him to hate Batman and becomes Arkham Knight. The comic is called Arkham Knight Genesis.
Jade Sarlonade Didn't Deathstroke help him escape too? Or Joker sent him after Jason and Jason said he'd double the price Joker was paying him
Amy Shephard
If I recall correctly yeah it was the second one
Crimson Nerd
Pore wording on my part.
YESNO
The new 52 movies seriously changed my opinion on Damian Wayne, he’s more of a likeable character as the movies go on especially at the finale of apokolips war
The injustice universe: *exist*
Robin: I’m in danger
That applies to all three Robins.
*Grayson:* Falls on a rock (It was a big rock...)
*Damion Wayne:* Almost everyone in Injustice 2 wants him imprisoned or dead, for accidently causing Grayson's death, for defecting to the Regime, and/or for being obnoxiously overconfident
*Jason Todd:* Dies before the events of the game, resurrects only to find that most of Injustice 2's roster wants him arrested or dead for his lethal methods, or for just not being a member of the Regime or the Justice League.
In the scene where Batman sadly says "Jason..." The captions said "Jeez"
I new Jason Todd would be 1st on this list
Carla Hunter me too
Yup definitely Jason was da best.
Ya me too
Carla Hunter get your spelling right

Dick and Tim:why would you betray Batman?!?
Jason and Damian:*flashback to every robin death*
I actually like the injustice Dick Grayson death. It shows how fragile life is. Died because a kid couldn't control his emotions better
0:35- dang...Damian tried to save that villain
Damian :,, Justice not avengens"
Friendly reminder that Jason Todd’s death was, is, and probably always will be Batam’s greatest failure, at least in his mind.
I had no problem with Dick's death in Injustice. I think the accidental tragedy aspect works in the story. It's important bc both sides blame each other and also share guilt and remorse.
To be fair to batman in Arkham knight when does joker ever “pretend” to kill someone
The WerewolfF When you find out that Oracle is missing and you get stuck in a fake room in the watch tower and you see Joker ‘kill’ Oracle
Full Cowling actually joker doesn’t kill her she kills herself.
The WerewolfF She didn’t. It was an illusion.
PrinceOJr I know that
Full Cowling I’ve just realised you’re talking about a different scene. That was a flashback to when he crippled her not him killing her
Imma be honest, “killing” jason todd but having him come back as red hood was one of the best idea ever....cause red hood is one of my all time favorites
Lesson:
Dont ever be batman's sidekick cause you might end up dead
Before this vid begins, if Jaybird isnt no. 1, i will absolutely flip my shit. My dear sweet babybird... no matter which version, always gives me the feels. A street kid, child abuse, hinted child prostitution, stepmother's drug abuse, true mother's abandonment, etc., etc. I agree that criminals sometimes deserve to die, as extreme as it is
I really wanted Tim in Injustice 2, so seeing him not there really made me disappointed :( now that I know hes dead I guess he probably wont be in the third game either
is there a third game ?
The best part about Damien dying is the aftermath where Bruce goes batshit crazy.
Villains: We know its you, Dick Grayson. We’re not stupid!
Dick Grayson: (Shocked Pikachu.jpeg)
My favorites were Damian Wayne and Jason Todd's death
A-Fandom- A-Minute yes but in the vomics he was ressourected by the retcon punch
yes and damian got stabbed by a chaos crystal was resurrected, basically
Hot Take: I think Dick Grayson's death in Injustice works BECAUSE it's anticlimactic. If Damien and Dick actually duked it out, it would take away from the impact the fight had. Before this point in the story (as far as I remember) while a lot of people, heroes, villains or otherwise, had died, Nightwing was the first to die simply due to the consequences of the two factions fighting. The impact was clearly seen when everyone stopped fighting so Bruce could carry away his son. Damien also clearly suffered from it when he said "He always caught it..." (referring to the stick thingy he threw at Nightwing leading to him losing his balance and falling)
To Damien, he essentially did the Batfamily equivalent of throwing a pillow at your sibling because you're messing with each other.
And that's why I think it works. Because it really was just two brothers having a spat leading to one of them dying.
Kind of a depressing top 5 XD
Third.
Also great video my guy, love Robin as a character.
Robin: *dies*
me: *shows diving scores along with other judges*
I never even herd of the girl robin
Same
Heard
That´s because she was robin for like two seconds and then it was all erased in the new 52
Damian: I got impaled after trying to help my father
Dick: I fucking fell
Dick Grayson’s death showed just how easily anyone could be killed. Even something as simple as a accidental broken neck. Really hit home for me how people could just be killed off.
Just before the moment you said Stephanie brown I was going to write in the comments section "what about Stephanie brown" also I had suspicions of the arkham Knight being red hood
My favorite was Stephanie's death. Yeah, it was rec-conned, but originally, it was suppose to be permanent, so I count it as a 'death'. My favorite fake death was DG's in the Spyral story line.
Bruce lost 3 sons in Injustice, 2 died and 1 betrayed him
“You couldn’t save Lois or Jason or anyone!”
*Immediately cuts to batman and red hood fighting in injustice*
Thank you so much! I feel so loved!
Damian Wayne was my absolute favorite by far, the most awesome and popular
Ikr
12:42 is the ground legos!
4:15 nope you may be his biological son but Dick Grayson (aka my favorite robin ever) had a better father son connection with batman than you kid
Yea except batman did a better job of bringing him back to life then the others
at 7:25 i have that comic man it scard me for life first time i read it still remember the women who speak so highly of robin when she died.. man .... that some deap stuff
0:56 wait the earth is a cube... HELL YEAH I WAS RIGHT
I liked Stephanie Browns “death” in the comics
She suck
Cuz of the injustice games, the comics were sadly forced to do a lot of dumb stuff like they kinda had to deal with Tim in some way as he never appeared in injustice 2. Maybe the animated movie will change that though as hopefully it’ll have lots of freedom in its creation.
It's still just shocking how Bruce didn't receive many complaints over the lack of pants on some occasions.
I wonder if they were afraid of being fired if they wanted to trade in the speedo
