    DECEMBER 2023 UPDATE: A new tool has released concerning Twilight Princess collision editing and it seems to disprove some things i mentioned in this video. I'll provide more info in an upcoming video of a TP custom map.

    Note: in order to have the export and replace options in switch toolbox when right-clicking the kcl file, you first double click on that kcl file, then right click (this was already mentioned in video but just in case)

    wow man nice work!, question, ¿is there any way to modify the game in other ways?, for example adding enemies and change their stats like damage, speed or size, zelda oot has something similar

      you can add enemies to maps by editing the dzr file located in that map's .arc file. stat modification may not be fully possible yet because the game isn't fully decompiled.

      @@captainkittyca2 thanks for the answer, my dream would be to play TP again but with structure changes that can keep the game fresh in every run, something like a randomizer but vanilla friendly, there should be a way to drastically modify the map given a certain action done by the player but nothing too hard to make just a map that change small pieces of himself, certainly something like the oot hookshot that works on all woods would feel great to find new paths yourself instead of playing the game a certain way

    So are you saying custom maps are now possible? If so then I might want to get back into trying to mod this game

      It's been possible for years actually but not so many (or any at all) as far as I know, did release any of their custom maps besides mine which I released back in July (the final destination mod, my most viewed video at the moment lel)

    Do you know any tool which can open the entire twilight princess game in it and you can import a custom 3d map made by 3dsmax in to that tool ,at that tool which can allowing you to spawn chest ,character in to your custom map and you can create your own game run senario?

      i've never used 3ds max before but can it open .dae files? if so, you can just use the regular Yoshi2 superBMD to convert the bmd files within the arc files to dae then open the dae in 3dsmax.
      You can use GCFT (GameCube File Tools) to open the iso of the game (only GCN iso) and to open the arc file to extract the bmd.
      As for spawning chests, NPCs, etc, that's all part of the .dzr file, which is also within the arc file. You can convert the dzr file to json using libstage.py from TP Decomp. It shows the coordinates of each actor within the map and etc

    Btw guys, and to be clear, i'm not 100% sure about this but: if you use blender 3.0+, then custom collision might not work regardless of whether you use obj or obj (legacy) exporting. When I made the video, I was likely using 2.9x from what i remember.

      I was trying to do custom Collison and the toolbox kcl convert did not work. so I tried downloading blender 2.9 but when I try to import the .blend so I can export as obj blender 2.9 crashes know how to fix this? or give me the link to that new tp tool? Thx In Advance!

      @@smileyyoshi Turns out it's not an issue with the blender version afaik. When I made this video I got very lucky and that's why it worked. So in a map file, there's kcl and there's plc file. You need to update the plc file afaik for the collision to work properly sometimes. TP Studio auto updates the neccessary information.       If that link doesn't work, the tool is in timeline modding discord server. Here's github version but you have to compile it yourself github.com/MapStudioProject/TP-Studio/
