'Equus' is dedicated to the lives lost during the lethal bushfires that scarred Australia in 2019-2020. Alongside the people who died or were affected, many millions if not billions of animals were killed or displaced from their natural habitats, the enormity of this is something that will never be forgotten, and should not be ignored. It is also a warning that the world we live in is changing from the damage we as a species have contributed to. Within this video, the dancer represents a scorched Mother Earth, from horror to humanity, ever in tune with the heart and flow of the song (and world), and ultimately aware of the inevitable and ever growing destructive cycle we are in."

He always was such a humble guy who puts a human touch in every word, and a pretty talented violinist...easy to interview because of that. Just all the best for all of them and for this channel! 🤘🤘

Thanks for the interview! I'm so glad that they're finally back! NeO played (and still does) such an important part of my life, that I'm just so happy for them! Exul is such an incredible experience that I'm glad that they were able to persevere through all the trials and tribulations that the whole recording process threw at them. It makes an already incredible release, become even more special. Thank you!

Awesome Interview ! Thank you for this and to Tim Charles also.
I really liked the Global Warming section, getting his point about the world and his political side. Which was interesting to me and I definitely agree about the part of humans contributing to our own demise.
I liked what Tim had to say in this interview, hope to see more interviews like this

Id love to hear more from the political tim, it really helps round out an artist ive grown to respect, not only for the craft but also the intelligence. Not that i think ne obliviscaris would be the best context to do so, i like the way they excel at subtlety and meanings between the lines.
Maybe i wouldn't say this if i didn't feel we share a lot of perspectives, but i'm usually of the opinion that artists can be appreciated more if they have a way to express their complexity, even contradictions sometimes, and from where their art comes.
I wish they could have the means to make use of the respect they gained from their work to get a chance to contribute in advancing their worldview and set whatever amount of power/influence they have in motion to bring more discussion and more intelligence into the quest for a better world. Maybe risky nowadays, that is understandable, but i wish there was a feasible way to do so.

very nice interview; lots to like about Tim. as a longtime listener, i was waiting for the band to combine the potential i personally saw in "portal of i" with their improvements going forward. most albums since then have been a "yes, it's the same band, but ..." situation and especially "urn" didn't quite work for me. so i'm happy to report that for me everything comes together beautiful on "exul" and it's easily my favourite of their's since "portal" (also regarding the cover artwork). so i can totally understand his confidence in the album. own taste aside, i also notice that the material has a broader appeal, so i was able to play parts of "Equus" to my family, who are usually of the "your music is too intense for us" opinion, but loved some of the moments in that song. hope this will be roaring success for them and that they'll keep providing us with releases of that excellence.
