In August 2018, The Danish Broadcast Corporation (DR) aired a concert entitled ”Gaming in Symphony” performed by The Danish National Symphony Orchestra /DR SymfoniOrkestret with The Danish National Concert Choir and various soloists conducted by Eimear Noone. The concert was hosted by the legendary TV presenter Jakob Stegelmann. The music performed was titles from a wide range of video games such as World of Warcraft, Assassin’s Creed, Call of Duty, Hitman, Final Fantasy and many more.

When I heard this music for the first time in 2007 on my PS3 in the start menu, I immediately knew I was in for a treat. Little did I know the music would leave a much bigger impact for me when I finished Uncharted 4

She sings, she whistles ... and she wa-wa’s. Tuva Semmingsen does it all.
Once Upon a Time in the West. She sings so the tears rolls well for me they do anyway!.
She is not a traditional soprano, she is much, much more. I absolutely love every piece that I have heard performed by this orchestra. Tuva and Chrinstine n. Anderson are about as good as it gets.

Their tribute to Ennio Morricone's western themes were also amazing to watch and listen, specialy to Mrs. Tuva Semmingsen for her lovely music talent in those themes.

There's been so many orchestras that try to do a piece from a game or a film where I'm just thinking, "The pitch is off or something, this doesn't sound right." This is the first time where they were exactly spot on, this is amazing.
Somehow this made me appreciate and love the Uncharted theme even more.

Fantastic performance by the orchestra. Tuva is simply amazing. Her voive is filled with such emotion. I didn't even know what a mezzo soprano was till I heard Tuva and had to look it up. She is truly a national treasure of Norway. Thank you Tuva!

A young me once emailed Greg Edmonson in the early days of internet to tell him how much his music from Firefly meant to me, and he was gracious enough to answer. I'm glad that he got to do more music that left a lasting impact.
Tuva has introduced me to some amazing concert videos. I really like her.
Now when I was younger I never saw such a lovely conductor as Elmear Noone and a beautiful soprano as Tuva Semmingson. The Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Danish National Concert Choir are just tops...
I think its safe to say that we gamers have lived moments that transcends the real world experiences and Uncharted is one of the series that is a testimony of it. And Danish orchestra has revived that nostalgia with an enchanting effort. Uncharted will forever bind us together. A true masterpiece.

I love watching the Danish Symphony orchestra haven't seen this before, Brilliant as usual Tuva you ROCK.

I love it that a symphony orchestra is playing music from computer games and movies and not keeping to the normal classical repertoire. Tuva’s voice is so clear. Thank you for putting this on TH-cam.

Tuvy is Norwegian but trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Denmark and lives there.

I love the theme "Reunion" from Among Thieves. It fits like a leitmotiv of this entry in the series. One of the best.

I crossed paths with Uncharted when I was just a kid like many others. My father told me that I could still get one game. We looked online and I saw the Uncharted Bundle. 1 and 2. I decided to get it because of the cover, seeing some guy wielding a gun while hanging off of something appealed to me. Little did I know I would fall in love with the games, always have a special place in my heart

I stumbled upon this orchestra here on you tube..... Now I have to go out and get some of their music. It is masterfully presented and all enjoy being there. LOVE IT ! ! ! !

I’m going out on a limb here... this group of musicians are as good as ever I’ve heard, including Boston Pops, NY And Philadelphia symphonies. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I grew up on old time rock n roll n old country and thought this type of music was boring but as I began to listen more I see how relaxing and beautiful it is especially the movie themes.on my iPad now and just kick it and enjoy theses talented musicians.

Tuva has a beautiful voice. She is a talented saprano with versality in bringing many Morricone classic Western movie theme score alive. This great game theme song is another enjoyable achievement. Her Handel's are good too.
