Thanks for having us explore this galaxy with you!🌌🚀
All respect to you for putting your time and effort make video game industry better.
I can't imagine how MANY times you had to practice playing this music before shooting it for the video.
@@adamdygnarowicz5127 yes, you can't imagine it, because it was most likely only a couple rehearsals. That's just how the professional orchestra world is. Individual musicians practice lots outside of rehearsal, but whole programs are put together with relatively few rehearsals. Concert cycles are measured in weeks, not months, usually for music more complicated than this. Not saying this music isn't amazing, just a different kind of side project for an orchestra like this.
i love both of your genshin and starfield performances
I loved it thank you so much
Very emotional for me cause I play Bethesda Games since 90s
What I love about the Starfield soundtrack is that it's not obvious, but interwoven into the game and every time I get this 'amazement' feeling when you hear it pop up.
As they say, the best background music is music you don't notice when it's there, but do notice when it's not.
@@Verchiel_ exactly!! Thanks for wording it better than I could 👌🏼
Anyone who can compose a track like "Nobody's Home" is nothing short of a genius. Encore, Maestro!
Oh my god, you just described it perfectly, everytime I touch this game even if it’s just the menu, I get this feeling of amazement and childlike imagination, this is the music that would be in my head if I ever got to explore space.
good way to say it
This has become a bit of a MS/Xbox staple recently, doing a live orchestra to celebrate a game's launch
Love it! Shows their commitment as a publisher to the musical arts.
tbh, this is the modern orchestra's bread and butter and the LSO is one of the better and more adaptable ones out there.
Bethesda has full Orchestral compositions for all their games. Jeremy Soule is the composer for Elder Scrolls games, going back to Morrowind. Inon Zur is the Fallout composer. Inon Zur also composed for Starfield as well, obviously. I prefer Soule but Zur is good.
Cannot find others, can you give me pointers? I absolutely adore stuff like this.
A pity they can't show commitment to releasing quality games 😂😂😂
Starfield's main theme is one of the best ever.
Meh overhyping it
Fix the green screen crash bug please? It's constanlty crashing and now every time I load the game it crashes.
@ArnabDas True, it's decent, but nothing in comparison to tracks like "Winds guide you", "Far Horizons" or "Peace of Akatosh"
@@ArnabDas you can literally hear the fallout in some songs 😭
@moonknight1331 but starfield isn't either of those games. While they have great soundtracks they can't compare to starfields.
Starfield has an amazing soundtrack. An amazing score for an amazing game
Yes its amazing ! I havent stopped playing! I love when you get to the Roddunberry system sometimes Startrek music will play !
Inon Zur poured his heart into this soundtrack
And just seeing how it was constructed right here is fascinating and amazing 😃
Haven't been this addicted to a game in years. Despite its flaws and rough edges it's SO much fun and there's just a ton of stuff to do.
But no sun 🌞 if you use #amd .....
Nice. The soundtrack is growing on me more and more everyday I play Starfield.
I'm sure it will be an all time classic, just like Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim OSTs
Jeremy Soule and Inon Zur are a blessing on this world
I love your content by the way
I personally don't think any of these pieces are as memorable and timeless as Jeremy Soule's music was for The Elder Scrolls, but it's enjoyable background music.
@@rhahnabunaid I didn't think so at first either but there are definitely a few songs in the game that I find myself humming at work. Is it as good as Soule? Probably not but that's a high bar, and it's definitely close.
Inon Zur is a genius. The music of Starfield is superb.
This year I think the "Best Score and Music Award" will be Starfield, amazing composition that tells an epic story. Bravo!
I am not sure... Inon is a great artist but let´s be honest.. most of Starfield music is generic ambient music.. compering to Stellaris I would say it is really like really bad. You can interchange some tracks with Fallout 4 without noticing... Inon´s magnum opus, Dragon Age, will be hardly overcame by this composition.
@@barbarosa3d239 I've hear Baldur's Gate 3 score and maybe I spoke too soon, it is also amazing, I think now there's actually competition. I do, however, disagree that Starfield's theme is "ambiente music" c'mon.
@@gdreyer Yes, Baldurs 3 is wonderful... but I was speaking about whole Starfield composition... the main theme is pretty good. It is not ambient of course.
@@barbarosa3d239 The Starfield music fits so well when you're in the game, it's crazy. The ambience is perfect. I think an OST should be judged by how well it fits the media, not just by itself.
@@Wft-bu5zcBoth.. it must be judged by its usage and how it works alone... albums of soundtracks are made for fans, many tracks have different epic variations which do not need to be used in the game/movie etc in albums and vice versa. You do not listen to OST just because it fitted in the game and alone it is dull and anticlimactic. It is basic theory behind OST albums :) Album is a different medium. Starfield/Fallout music is fine.. but comparing to Skyrim... its not even comparable :D The best comparison is in my opinion Stellaris... that soundtrack is great and epic in the game and on its own :)
Playing the game with a really good pair of headphones and dolby atmos for headphones is incredibly immersive. Some of the best sound design I've ever heard in a game if I'm honest, and an incredible soundtrack to boot.
I agree 100%. I use Dolby atmos as well, it's great.
I play with a sound bar with the volume almost to the top and all the rooms vibrates with the music, it's awesome
Inon Zur did an incredible job capturing the beauty and unsettling majesty of space. The way he combines serene melodies with discordant swells throughout really conveys the quiet wonder and foreboding infinity of the universe.
It’s crazy how the best new classical music from the past few decades has been from video games and movies.
So true
Cause its all about telling a story. Old or new classical music.
Tv series like GoT, the expanse, outlander, man in the high castle and many more. They are a masterclass
Although it's a double edged sword for me. The introduction of CD audio destroyed sound cards and general MIDI playback in games over night. This was great because there is no longer a class divide between Sound Blaster/AdLib sound and the vastly superior and more expensive MT32 sound device. Everyone playing games on any device hears the exact same sound as someone else. But there is something magical and charming about some of the MT32 game soundtracks of old. The main theme from The Secret of Monkey Island is forever etched into my memory for example.
I also have a different kind of respect for musicians that composed for a chip. Zur can just write what he wants and hire an orchestra to perform it and record it and slap it right into the game. The old school way of doing things was vastly more complex because the limitations of the sound chip or console had to be taken into account as well. You needed a great ear for writing and composing music but you also had to keep your compositions within the constraints of what the chip or console was capable of as well. It also meant that you couldn't just hire George Lucas or Inon Zur to compose your game's music and call it a day. Zur doesn't have the technical expertise to compose for a Sound Blaster or an NES. It was something rare and truly special when the stars aligned and game music was awe inspiring like this. I miss those days. Some of those old video game tunes are legendary not just for how they sound but for the computer wizardry and miracle creation required to make them work.
Inon could legit follow John Williams for the next Star Wars movies !
Definitely.
Absolutely majestic OST. Clearly deserves the OST Game Award of this year.
I hope he gets nominated, and wins.
Really brings a tear to my eye
Thinking about how Jemery Soule will never compose again
Inon Zur really killed it yet again, proving that he's the greatest game composer for me. Starfield's score has propelled to my favourite score in a BGS RPG! Can'r stop loving this mastepiece of a score!
This soundtrack was an absolute masterpiece. Bethesda always delivers the goods with the music in their game, and this one is a slam dunk.
As a classical musician myself, this is absolutely amazing to see, as close to a "Starfield Symphony" as we'll get!
Awesome to see how pumped Inon was getting in that last song, must have felt amazing for him to be conducting the London Symphony Orchestra
Orchestra's are amazing; I've been a hardcore EDM fan \ DJ for decades but nothing can compare to a Orchestra or Symphony
Large group of talented people making amazing sounds together
Bravo to everyone
I've always liked Zur's work but I was never moved as much as I have been with this soundtrack. I truly believe this is the best work he has ever done and I can definitely hear it in every note. I'm hearing pretty much everything that I have loved about sci-fi music from Star Wars to Star Trek, from Stargate to 2001 A Space Odyssey. All of the work of Horner, Williams, Goldsmith, Arnold, etc. filtered through Inon's style is just a perfect mix.
The way how the melody swells as you "finish" the game and watch that cutscene is just amazing. It just hits you different after hearing the music exist in the background but come to the forefront proudly at the end. Amazing.
The more I play this game the more I noticed the how good this soundtrack is. It's very well done. One of those that will leave an impact and for some of us, when we think of space exploration, this will be the music that plays in our minds ear.
I'm a big fan of the 2001 Space Odyssey-vibes from this soundtrack. Well done Inon Zur! 👏👏👏
Eh, this soundtrack is clearly more influenced by Star Trek than 2001. Inon said he was influenced primarily by John Williams, and the composer of Star Trek, Jerry Goldsmith.
I love 2001, but that soundtrack is just established classical pieces, with sections of wailing and absolute silence. Star Trek has original music, as does Star Wars, and this soundtrack is more an homage to those OST’s than the semi original soundtrack of 2001.
Plus, Bethesda owned the rights to Star Trek, and a few of their developers are huge Trek fans, so Trek seems more likely than 2001. I’m guessing you aren’t that big of a trek fan, which is a shame, because this is game is a love letter to those fans more than anyone else. But don’t feel bad, the more fandoms you become a part of, the better you’ll get at hearing these influences right away.
The theme track is so captivating. I get shivers when it starts to build up.
So amazing!! thanks Bethesda!
Brilliant OST. Playing Starfield in my 7.2.4 Atmos home theatre is a delight.
Same here I have an atmos setup (7.2.2) and it’s AMAZING to hear the sound design of Starfield. It’s so immersive playing in surround I love it!
Amazing soundtrack! As always Inon knocked it out the park!
Spectacular! So many games these days I mute and binge TV while playing. Not this one. Inon Zur has crafted an absolute masterpiece and I MUST listen to it while I play.
@InonZurOfficial, this entire score is a masterpiece! It's the first game score that gave me the "Awe and Wonder" emotions I felt the first time I listened to Marty O'Donnell's Destiny score. It's the kind of music that when you hear it out of context, you just want to go back and play the game.
I'm so glad I paid for the soundtrack and game art. It's all so good.
The music is one of the best aspects of this game.
I love how into it he gets at 3:05
You can tell how special this project is to Inon.
Wish more games had an orchestra concert showcasing the game's music near it's launch like this, beautiful
Inon Zur = Dragon Age: Origins. Leiliana's song. My favorite composer. 👍👍
What a wonderful surprise! Thank you for the lovely video. And thank you for yet another fabulous game soundtrack. Bravo.
Holt shit! This is awesome. Damn! The score always makes the game even better if it’s awesome like this. 🙌🏼👍🏼
4:10 the ending almost made me cry....what a masterpiece...
I played Starfield now 7 Days Playtime and i have the Feeling that i seen nothing. IT IS amazing. Thank you Bethesda
Oh I missed the live event. This soundtrack is pure magic into my veins. So good
Très très bonne bande son ce Starfield un plaisir de voir l'orchestre à l'œuvre. C'est rare à notre époque les bonnes sons que l'on retient dans les films ou les jeux comme c'était plutôt le cas dans les années 80/90
I love hearing the theme blast every time I level up.
This score is amazing. Since I got starfield digital premium edition I got the hear the game soundtrack and now this This score is amazing. Love the variatians of the songs and tempos how it is all interwoven .The London Symphony Orchestra did a superb job. Ddefinitely one of my favorite game sountracks ever
1:04 I get chills up my spine!
Absolutely in love with Starfield's soundtrack. You guys did an outstanding job
Would love to see this be available on cd and vinyl!
Nah CD would be poor quality FLAC download and a vinyl would be the most optimal way to listen 😀
I always thought Inon Zur was being underappreciated because I loved his music and don't hear much people talking about his soundtracks
I haven’t had a chance to play Starfield yet, but my god, I can’t wait as I listen to this!
It's a super fun game. Just give it some time because at first it's really confusing and hard to get into, but it's so addictive once you figure it all out.
Best game ever made
This will become a an instant classic of an OST
Inon Zur is a world-class composer. Might be top 5 of my life time.
도입부 메들리는 내 모든 창작의 근원. 압도적인 영감을 준다. 천재적인 음악가.
I hear 2001, star trek, star wars, dune, and many others.... So good!!!!
Now that the game is out, it's even more gratifying. I would play the Starfield suite back in 11/11/2021 obsessively.
I love how London symphony orchestra always does little things like this with Bethesda, it seems almost magical
This game and it’s soundtrack makes me thankful for my 7.2.2 Atmos setup! Great work Inon and thank you Bethesda for recognizing that long time fans truly care about the music. Having an orchestra performance like this is just awesome!
The music simultaneously feels like its from a Bethesda game and an epic scifi film score. Incredible.
absolutely beautiful performance! this soundtrack is incredible
Hoping to hear The Sol System, In Silent Orbit and The Red Land.
Thank you for uploading this, very well composed and played!
So happy this was put up on TH-cam, thank you Bethesda
AMAZING
Thanks, Just a great concert!
Even I, not a classical music lover, liked it!
Absolutely amazing really love the music of starfield, thankyou London orchestra for performance
Absolutely Incredible. Beautiful music, beautiful performance and beautifly shot. I feel a little more cultured after watching this.
been playing for about 50 hours. So far, i'm loving this game and make me doubt about the press integrity
The main theme brings that sense of discovery and wonder
Thanks for this fabulous concert Bethesda❤️❤️❤️
Love it 👍. Inon Zur made this time a really lovely soundtracks as well as always and that is awesome.
Beautiful 💙💙💙 I love Starfield and the music is just masterpiece 😌
Something about watching this makes one respect it so much more. So much effort and care into something that is nothing more than background ambiance while in game. Some how makes it more enjoyable once you've seen this and given it the time it deserves.
I love it! Thank you for the great night.
Heavenly Soundtracks !
Thank you, Inon Zur. Both the OST's for Fallout 4 and Starfield have been breathtaking, and I would love to see you tackle the Elder Scrolls VI someday.
inon is epic but for tes i would stick with jeremy
@@pridjikvazi9045 Will sadly not happen since Jeremy Soule was hit by the cancel culture :/
“Where words fall short, music speaks.”
It’s amazing that years after playing Bethesda videos game now being in my 30s starting with Morrowind every game since has had such an amazing soundtrack gives me goosebumps.
This is magical
Ce jeu et cette ost sont merveilleuses, merci bethesda ! vivement une adaptation au cinéma.
It's awesome music, great performance. Just want to see/hear it live))
Congratulations on such a fine event.
This music is gorgeous and enhances our experience exploring the starfield!
I clicked on this video with intentions to skip to a couple of my favorite tracks and that's it, but the score for this game is so damn good and seeing it performed live is so mesmerizing, it had me hooked from the beginning. Ended up watching the whole thing.
Fantastic!
Mr. Zur, thank you kindly 🙏
I love this sound track, every bit of it!
Listening to this in the background as I work. Such a fantastic ambiance it creates!
this brought me into a completely new kind of music. it is so epic. thank you so much for it.
I love everything about this!
Beautiful!!!
wonderful! Amazing to see Inon guest conduct for two of the movements.
Love this! The sound quality is out of this world! Beautiful music! Really adds immersion to such an incredible game. Great work, Inon Zur! Boldly go.
El mejor juego con la mejor musica grande Starfield rompiendo record
So sad missed this live. Been listening to soundtrack on repeat last 2 weeks.
Absolutely amazing!
This is really phenomenal, thanks!
Te amo, Bethesda ❤❤❤❤❤
I didn’t anticipate I would enjoy the games score as much as I have. It invokes a sense of awe and wonder to the quiet moments and a bombastic intensity to moments of danger. The influences are so clear yet handled so gracefully. Incredible work.
Sounds hopeful and inspirational. Fantastic music!
Beautiful.
Amazing, I love it!!!
The beauty we make as humans. Something as insignificant ... as a game, to the grand scope of things. This game causes a group of well-trained musicians to execute a melody that we will one day hold dear. This is just captivating me .. I played skyrim forever.. and watched the orchestra play those songs and my eyes welled up. How is this possible? I am here for it regardless.
Thanks to Inon Zur, to The London Symphony Orchestra, and to Bethesda.
One of the greatest concert of one of the greatest score of one of the greatest game, played by one of the greatest Orchestra !
