- The Lizardmen are one of the strangest factions in the game both visually and mechanically. They hate chaos more than anything else but also struggle to play well with others due to their cold-blooded diplomacy and likely their slightly menacing appearance. They’ve not seen a ton of changes since their release but are still a lot of fun to play with a ton of mechanics to master to use them well.

An important detail is Tiqtaktoe also gets early access to all flying units
And starts with some flying unit related tech unlocked, despite not having the building that is a prerequisite for those techs.
Skink chiefs and saurus old blods are your better choices if you want these types of monsters. Equipment means one of these can outvalue 2 vanilla monsters. Fres up another slot in the army
Lizards are the hottest faction in the game. Get wrecked.

Do you do anything with congruence? Playing Gor Rok and really struggling to advance my settlements. Doing the normal thing with a garrison and viral economic buildings before building recruitment buildings. The thing is, it's taking so long to grow enough to get more slots

This is hardly a guide, and more of a 'read every tooltip for a faction'. Anything considered a 'guide' in this video is simply 'Take X because it is good'. Barely any depth.
Didn’t realize there was an expert for “guides” on TH-cam. Congrats you can comment on TH-cam to make yourself feel smart by critiquing a video you couldn’t make yourself.
I haven't even watched the video and I feel like I'm learning more than just a tool tip could teach me.

@@trazyntheinfinite9895 I mean your weong and not since there is a lot going on in general income. Upkeep control, trade, settlments upgrading, growth movement, recruitment and more all happen on just the campaign side of things. I would hardley call that simple. Let alone atrition environmental bonuses different stances. That's before you get into what a good campaign looks like vs what a good battle looks like vs what a balanced and good army looks like. As many things don't transfer over well. Knowing how to get a good settlemtn doesnt say give the innate knowledge of how to effectively play the lizards so there is some regard that reading the tooltips won't help. And for a long video I thought there would be some tips or something to give a basic understanding of how the faction works in play vs what the Manuel says.

Buy thick lizards. Stomp enemy.
Build money and geomantic web.
Do not recruit monstrous u its, get the respective heroes on their mounts.
If in peril, keep cash ready for a bastillobomb stack and just nuke the opfor with it.
I would understand the need for in depth explanation about, say, the empire.
But the lizards?
way too long and complicated and can be done shorter on how to effectively play lizardmen: be dinosaur or lizard, eat the others.
