Not getting Ikit's Second Wind Serum is super dumb, it gives you 720HP and some melee defence everytime you cast, get the two yellow lines and max out ancient cunning at the blue line, thats as far as your blue line should go. You don't need to go for lightning strike since you got stalk....

Balthasar is right, you cant just go and fill blue line by default for all commanders, but i guess Skaven are pretty complicated to cover all of it in 20 min. all in all, fairly nice video with some minor mistakes or not covering all, but like i said, 20 min for all of the Skavens...

I'm so confused at your approach to Ikit's leveling. Second-Wind Serum makes him a powerful distraction on the field to allow his weapons teams to dish out damage. It's worth rushing as soon as it's available because it makes him nigh invulnerable, so long as he doesn't get tangled up by cavalry or spearmen. You're always going to catch a few stray bullets when you're harassing units that your ratling guns are melting, and Second Wind Serum allows you to easily recover all the damage that might otherwise accumulate
there is a bug whenever you spread a plague, instead of giving you buffs to all (armies, heros, setlements etc.) it makes you like you are affected by a nurgle plague
Clan Rictus also starts with the Rictus great clan hall at Han one which provides following; Income generated: 500 Food generator: 3 Income from trade tariffs +15% Tradable resources produced: +10% (factionwide) Recruitment cost: -20% for stormvermin units Recruit rank: +2 for Stormvermin units Beauty: Immune to Psycholgy for Stormvermin units (all armies) So essentially, Tretch gets the ability to recruit rank 5 Stormvermin as soon as he’s able to recruit them (which should take about 10 turns).
Because they are weak. Skaven are the weakest infantry in the game. You have to manual fight most battles and micro with weapon teams to win usually. Use some gutter runners and sniper/MG combos and they will shred. But using kite maneuvers are their specialty, and auto resolve doesn't account for that

@@orfeas2335 because even with those downsides they can steamroll, easily. They can get Tier 3, 4, 5 settlements much sooner than most factions, their ambush stance is busted, and their late game income is strong.
I see this a lot on these videos and never understand what exactly they’re looking for. You need a play by play of who to attack and which units to bring? Every game is going to be different, the point of these videos is to recommend paths for each lord, highlight each lord’s strengths, and explain faction mechanics in one spot instead of needing to search through all the tool tips in game. If you can’t figure out basics like where to go in a campaign you need a more basic tutorial on the game itself, and come back to a faction specific one once you know the basics.
You actually want someone to play the game turn by turn for you? Do you ever actually have any fun figuring out games or do you always just do whatever the next YTer tells you to do? Why don't you actually try playing the game.
@@alloftheexperts2111i have 150 hours on this game, im brand new to it. 150 hours!!!! And i still cant get to the mid game, this game is complicated when youve never played warhamer and have little experience in total war, some of us touch grass from time to time you know?
How the hell can you rush that hard through the guide and still take 22 min? For the workshop 0.5 speed was literally not slow enough to read the text. Please do videos at a slower pace that would really make them more awesome

It’s not a dedicated guide because that would take like… 4 hours, since getting into the specifics of every lords faction and their effects can be a drag (except maybe Tretch since he’s pretty straight-forward)

DAM! ikit is my favourite but he used to start with 1 ratling 1 warplock didnt he ? now 2 ratling ! ouch time !
2 ratlings is gonna make early fights even easier
Yeah it was only 1 before. My guess is to help his AI expand a bit more since most times before he never really left his first city when I played

If you manage to have low ska en corruption in some provinces that will grant you a big boost in food production and of course public order
Did you miss out the army stances? Their move and ambush is hella strong and I'm surprised you didn't max out ancient cunning in blue lines.
Some skills make it so you don’t really need to max it out, as they also buff ambush or even items you can find

Their units seemed weak to me. Way harder to win campaign battles with autobattle than with lizardmen or slanesh faction for example
