Quacks is one of my favourite entry and casual games. The replayability is off the charts but we never explored the advanced chip effects since we don't play it often. But next time I'd really like to try.
If you liked the grab bag mechanic of Quacks I'd highly recommend Orléans. It is a moderately complex strategy game with different ways to score points but the way you "load" your abilities is by grabbing the chips you previously bought and slotting them in the right places on your player board. You can even play around that, preparing a turn in advance and fire it on your next turn. I really like it.

Great recommendation! We’ll check it out and possibly make an episode on it!

This was a great episode also I love ticket to ride I have been playing it with my family and friends for years. It is my new player game and it is actually true that anyone can play the game. My most recent time playing I played with my 2 grandparents and my 9 year old brother and they both understood the mechanics very fast and we had a blast. 10/10 game in my opinion.

This eppisode was fun. I would lovd to hear these games revisted down the line. Perhaps with varient rules or new maps. The difference in strategy between city and country maps. There's a lot that could be explored in these otherwise simple games. And i for one feel like it's a somewhat neglected aspect of the board game comunity.
