I actually really like the idea of Buster being a professor. Everyone learns differently and Buster was clearly in a situation where his needs weren't being met. So the idea of Buster growing up and teaching people who had the same learning difficulties he had as a kid is perfect.

If we’re taking the notion of Francine being Arthur’s future wife into consideration, than I don’t think Francine identifies as gay. Granted, she’s a sporty tomboy who cares little for girly things, but I honestly think Francine could be Bi or maybe even Bi-curious who explores who she is for a time before falling in love with Arthur and marrying him later on. It’s not impossible.
Buster's TH-cam channel is his side gig. He doesn't need the money from a TH-cam partnership or sponsors, and really just does it for fun. His college career gives him the funds necessary to find his research into the supernatural.

A fitting ending. I as a kid I always kids assumed Arthur and Francine had a thing for each other. Plus buster always struck me as the ADHD kid who was highly intelligent, but not motivated for school. Either way great analysis. Buster being a college professor is a lot more authentic than a food critic. Buster didn’t take school seriously when he was younger but it shows as he got older, he started to value education. That’s development to his character showing he has matured. Being a food critic would be a bit corny and typical. As a millennial (born in 1991) and “Arthur” being one of my childhood shows, Buster being a teacher is so relatable to me. I didn’t take school serious either. I was always in summer school in elementary and I hated reading. I’m a 8th ELA teacher now, the irony. I’ve been in education for 8 years.
If you think about it, Buster as a teacher makes a lot of sense. As our understanding of teaching grows, we've learned that different people learn more effectively through different ways, and some minds just don't do well with the traditional classroom style of teaching. Buster's desire for teaching could have come from the fact that he always struggled, and was left behind because traditional study methods weren't as effective on him, so he wanted to channel that into a way to help others like him, that the system may otherwise leave behind. That's my interpretation anyway

Though, for whatever reason, the audio for the episode with Arthur and D.W. staying at Grandpa Dave's farm is out of sync with the visuals. None of the other episodes in the season, just that one. It still puzzles me to this day🤔🤨
OMG! I could not click on this video fast enough! Arthur was my version of the Simpsons because I wasn't allowed to watch it. Arthur exposed me to so much pop culture moments. The writing and humor is also amazing! So glad you are covering this show! Btw....I love wolves🐺

🤦 You have it literally backwards dingus. Being on TH-cam Kids makes you WAAAAAY less short term money, not more. Advertising to kids is highly regulated and restricted and thus you get significantly less AdSense revenue. Kids channels have to survive on getting MASSIVE view counts for just this reason. My favourite animal is a fox or a deer. The show means so much to me. I watched it growing up before school. And the character of George meant so much to me to see someone like me on TV and it helped me understand myself more he’s always been my favourite character in the show for that reason because he helped me realise that this is who I am and that’s okay. They will never be a show like Arthur again.
This show holds a special place in mine and my family’s heart. It was my grandmas favorite show. She would always watch it even after she got dementia. She even had a little Arthur plushy. She passed almost a year ago and I haven’t watched anything involving Arthur. I hope she was able to watch this episode before she passed to know how it all ended.

Molly (Therapist) Rattles (Delivery Driver) Slink (District Supervisor for Elwood City Times) Sue Ellen (Martial Arts Teacher) Brain (Ground-breaking Scientist and Invented Teleportation) Fern (Detective) Prunella (Fortune Teller and Yoga Teacher) Jenna (Professional Soccer Player and Athlete)
This show is just ... so great. I'm glad they got to hit on some topics that other people weren't comfortable with just because they wanted to show an important part of growing up INCLUDES all kinds of families and situations. I'm also really happy that this show existed long enough to be there for multiple generations - and I'm sad it's over. My favorite animal are Sand Cats, they're so smol, but so deadly.
Agreed on them tackling the tough topics. I really liked how they did that. Though one I did NOT in a million years think they'd tackle would be the trauma of a younger sibling losing their older sibling and having to grow up for their own younger sibling and the struggles when the older sibling comes back. Yes, they DID tackle that lesson and it still shocks me, both that they did it and how literally NO ONE talks about it

I grew up reading Arthur’s Eyes, because I had several eye surgeries when I was a kid. Arthur holds a special place in my heart. I’d love to be a cat.

Loved Arthur growing up, the books were my favorite. I always liked the way the characters looked and it had a heavy influence on my early art. My favorite animal is a Fox though I don't remember if there are any foxes in the show

My favourite animal is a fox or a deer. The show means so much to me. I watched it growing up before school. And the character of George meant so much to me to see someone like me on TV and it helped me understand myself more he’s always been my favourite character in the show for that reason because he helped me realise that this is who I am and that’s okay. They will never be a show like Arthur again.

25 YEARS!
This show holds a special place in mine and my family’s heart. It was my grandmas favorite show. She would always watch it even after she got dementia. She even had a little Arthur plushy. She passed almost a year ago and I haven’t watched anything involving Arthur. I hope she was able to watch this episode before she passed to know how it all ended.

This show is just ... so great. I'm glad they got to hit on some topics that other people weren't comfortable with just because they wanted to show an important part of growing up INCLUDES all kinds of families and situations. I'm also really happy that this show existed long enough to be there for multiple generations - and I'm sad it's over.
My favorite animal are Sand Cats, they're so smol, but so deadly.

Though one I did NOT in a million years think they'd tackle would be the trauma of a younger sibling losing their older sibling and having to grow up for their own younger sibling and the struggles when the older sibling comes back.

In Marc's early books, it was implied that she had a crush on Arthur so it's understandable that they would get together and it's disappointing that the finale episode never showed that. I hate her haircut. I also think it's really stereotypical just because she is a tomboy doesn't mean she has to be gay. I think she would've been cute with Arthur since it seemed like he liked her too being that when he daydreamed she was with him. I like turtles.

Yeah her hair style is a bit much especially since she owns a sneaker business. Doesn't really "fit". Now if she was in some Sporting/Casual Clothes it would've fit more especially if she was an athlete for a period of time but not a Suit with heels.
I also agree it's weird people actually hated Francine Dating Arthur when their interactions with each other were natural and not forced. They have really good chemistry with each other. But to favor Francine being LGBT is weird bcus what did they base that off of? That's random just like how they made the Teacher LGBT out of nowhere. Just 💥 here it is.
But then Again they more then likely did all this during the BOOM of LGBT being all over the Media. If not that the only thing I can think of is the Yuri/Yaoi Community had something to do with it 🤣

For The Simpsons' take, Bart can portray Tintin, Santa's Little Helper can portray Snowy, Milhouse can portray Captain Haddock, Professor Frink can portray Professor Calculus, Chief Wiggum and his son Ralph can portray Thomson and Thompson, Sideshow Bob can portray Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine, and Nelson, Jimbo, Dolph, and Kearney can portray the Bird brothers (The Bird brothers are Max Bird and Gustav Bird). For Family Guy's take, Brian and Stewie can portray Tintin and Snowy (sorry I put their names in the wrong order, Stewie was the one who would potray Tintin in Family Guy's parody of Tintin while Brian potrays Snowy) and Chris can portray Captain Haddock.
