For kids that did not have nickalodeon or cartoon network or couldn't watch it everyday this was a staple for us. It brings so many memories back and though I am about to graduate soon I kinda want to watch it again. Just to let the memories come rushing back again and reminisce on the episodes. Still hard for me to believe it is over now though.
I grew up with it as well. It was actually comforting in a way that with all the changes in my life and the world, this show was still going on. I was quite sad when it reached its ending.
I really like the ending, I like how they were able to get the original voice actor who played Arthur as a kid to come back to voice him as an adult. I also like how Arthur writes about the first episode. what a full circle moment.
Great video! I love Arthur. I'm 32 and grew up watching Arthur with my younger sister. We still reference some of the quotes to this day. Now, I teach second grade and usually show one 12-minute segment during our snack time. I try to pick an episode that ties into something we're learning about. (Later this week, I plan to show "Arthur Bounces Back" and "Poor Muffy" since we'll be talking about buying "needs" vs. "wants" in Social Studies.) I know you can't include every episode, but here are some of my favorite episodes that weren't mentioned... -Arthur's Pet Business (season 1, episode 5) & Arthur Writes a Story (season 1, episode 12) - The first episode shows how Arthur got his dog Pal. The other episode is when Arthur has to write a story for class. He chooses to write about how he got Pal, but thinking that story was too boring, he revises it multiple times ending up with it being a country song that tells about how he got a pet striped elephant on the Planet Schmellafint. -Locked in the Library (season 1, episode 6) - Arthur and Francine get locked in the library and try desperately to get out. -DW's Snow Mystery (season 1, episode 22) - The origin of the snowball, which would get referenced throughout the entire run of the series. The Blizzard episode is actually a later episode that ends with this episode's flashback scene. -Team Trouble (season 1, episode 22) - Arthur, Buster, and Francine have to work together on a project about Ancient Rome but the parts they do separately don't fit together. We also get the "Ancient Rome, it's not like home" song. -Play It Again, DW (season 2, episode 6) - This episode and its partner introduce the recurring Crazy Bus song. -DW Goes to Washington (season 2, episode 10) - The Reads go to Washington DC. DW is unimpressed, gets lost in the White House, and the president (an obvious parody of Bill Clinton) finds her and takes her back to her family. -The Ballad of Buster Baxter (season 3, episode 1) - This episode is the culmination of season 2's season-long plot that Buster went to stay with his dad for almost the whole season. Art Garfunkel sings narration about how Buster and his friends are reacting to Buster's return to Elwood City. -And Now Let's Talk to Some Kids (season 3, episode 4) - The film crew from the TV show "The Magic Toolbox" goes to Arthur's school to film an interstitial segment that features real kids. This is a direct parody of Arthur's own interstitial segment "A Word from Us Kids" that features real kids (usually at a school) talking about the topic of the episode. There is a lot of self-referential stuff thrown into the episode. -Prunella's Prediction (season 4, episode 8) - The flash pants episode that included some aluminum paper on the animation to make the pants "flashy" -My Music Rules (season 4, episode 10) - Yo-Yo Ma and Joshua Redman guest star as the characters argue about what kind of music is best. The episode ends with the two musicians playing Crazy Bus. -When Carl Met George (season 13, episode 6) - Introduces Carl, a new character who as Asperger's. -In My Africa (season 14, episode 9) - Brain's cousin Cheikh moves from Senegal to Elwood City. DW wants to learn about Africa, so they spend the episode making up a song, including one detail about every country in Africa -Shelter from the Storm (season 18, episode 10) - A hurricane hits Elwood City and we get to see how the various characters react. Idina Menzel guest stars as Brain's counselor and throws in a Frozen reference. -Citizen Cheikh (season 23, episode 1) - Brain's cousin and his parents become official US citizens. Great for teaching about immigration and citizenship. -Arthur's Perfect Christmas (hour-long special) - We get to see all of Arthur's friends celebrate the holiday season, including Christmas (even referencing the religious aspect of the holiday), Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and even St. Lucy's Day. Sorry this is so long. I got started and couldn't stop! Thank you again for your video! It was a fun watch!

I remember they remade the episode because of the doping scandal and refused to the air the original episode until the remake was made. @purplesimpsonrizz13 no I think Arthur couldn’t have ended any other way.
