- In this video I ask, who is Animations WORST couple? I look at several characters from animated TV shows, like Family Guy's Peter & Lois Griffin, as well as Stan and Francine from American Dad.
On this channel we look at the funniest Family Guy moments from Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg and Brian. As well as other Family Guy characters from Quahog Rhode Island.

I'm kinda sad Blooms isn't apart of the south park of the video about Randy
@@DTB-TLMYeah, Blooms does some good work
question: will you ever talk about total drama?
Someone once told me "I want to be his Harley quinn." I told her "so you want to be used, abused and never feel the love reciprocated fully?" She thought about it and saw that relationship differently
I had a relationship with a girl where I was harley and she was the joker and now I want to see if I can be a harley to someone's Ivy.
And she still said yes
@@titanscar2183 she actually left him! We threw a party!
If she said "yes" then you know she's a keeper
And not to forget "You want to have to hide any future children with him from him for fear he'll end their lives". See the story of Harley and Joker's daughter that is being raised by Harley's sister because "Mistah Jay" would end the little girl if he found out she existed.
You know Beth and Jerry have a terrible relationship when THE BEST MARRAIGE COUNSELLOR IN THE GALAXY says their relationship is "the worst he's ever seen"
While I don’t want to defend them, they are arguably one of the healthiest relationship on this list. They’re kind of like the other Smiths. Functionally dysfunctional. Plus you’ve got Harley Quinn and the Joker. You can’t really get worse than them.
@@thedukeofchutney468 yeah true, while it is toxic, it could be worse
But then we have them breaking up, becoming better people then reconciling and then starting to get into an even stronger relationship. I mean Beth and Jerry are borderline a healthy marriage now (with still some dysfunctional quirks) in the latest seasons.
@@robertbarrows6687 yeah that's true as well
Still not nearly as bad as Kevin Spencer's family it's on tubi.
Clay isn’t gay, but he’s definitely Bi. Throughout the run of the show he is shown being attracted to both men and women.
the point was that he is closeted.
He also has a SAVAGE Oedipus complex... Once you see his "egg" hallucination you can't un-see it. :/
@@barrettfenwick8028 *NO GOD PLEASE NO*
Think about this for a moment, his name is Clay, the woman he married molded him like a piece of clay, literal clay. 😂
What I love is he’s a great example that anyone can be a horrible abusive person if they let their past turn them into it, even closeted people
I’d love to see a Sharon and Randy Marsh deep dive. He’s so obnoxious and she’s like the most rational adult in South Park.
I agree on all of that.
Shockingly enough, Randy didn't start out as obnoxious and self-centered in season 1. It wasn't until later seasons that they changed his character for better or for worse until the Tegredy Arc kicks in.
@@FineFictMen Yeah it's a true shame the creators wanted of change him like this

Hi Kitty Monk!
hey boo. funny to see u here.
Zeus and Hera from Greek Mythology
Fr. I don't think that most on Zeus' kids are even from Hera 💀
The only animated version of them I seen is from Disney's Hercules. It's just weird seeing them be a happy couple and loving parents. Especially Hera towards Hercules. It's just weird and unnatural. Also Zeus and Hera are siblings

@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 there's... There's a time-stamp.
I think Bonnie is suffering from postpartum depression and it's untreated cuz her hatred of Joe didn't really start happening until after she gave birth
That's a good theory
Family Guy had 3: Pete and Lois, Joe and Bonnie, and Cleveland and Loretta.
Carter & Babs Pewterschmidt
And the order you listed them in is worst to best
At Least Cleveland Moved on From Loretta. Plus Donna Loves Cleveland and Junior More than Loretta.
Loretta is dead anyway 😗
Sheesh, Seth must really hate healthy relationships...
Joker and Harley are easily the worst. He ruined her life.
Yeah
Thankfully she did see the light and told Mr. J to take a hike. Plus now she’s got Poison Ivy as a more positive girlfriend
@@LucyLioness100 Indeed. Ivy has definitely been a good influence on Harley. They make a great pair.
The only Joker and Harley Quinn relationship that was actually healthy was from the Lego series; especially the Lego Batman movie.
And surprisingly, they weren’t even romantically involved. Joker’s obsession with Batman bordered on (but not outright said to be) a gay crush, while Harley was his “girl buddy” number two/partner in crime.
I totally see the two as ‘gay best friends’ to each other (Joker pining after Batman, and Harley in a romantic relationship with Poison Ivy), and being a support for each other’s interests.
That is pretty interesting.
Another healthy depiction of Harley and the Joker’s relationship was in Batwheels (since they wanted their relationship to seem more appealing to preschoolers)
Love how you added Stolas and Stella from Helluva Boss
To be honest the both of them hated each others from start. I kinda hope to see Stella be more than just a BBEG with soly trait to be a nitch about everything.
Stella and Stolas as a toxic couple? Definitely, especially on Stella's part.🙄
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982no it's Stolas's fault
Eh, I say it’s both given that they now pulled Stella to the murderous side. But yeah, Stolas isn’t innocent in this either
@@godzillaboy011 What do you mean it's his fault? Stella hated Stolas from the start.
I'm so glad that Harley was able to move on after the Joker was killed in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. I mean, she was able to have grandchildren and told them off on how stupid they were to get involved with the Joker. That means she was able to get away and recognize how awful that relationship was. Good for her.
You forgot to mention in early seasons of Family Guy Joe was implied to be an asshole to his wife " I can't say no to Joe ever" -Bonnie
Then when he got his legs he turned out to be the biggest POS in the show
I don’t think that implies that he was an asshole and nothing Joe did when he got his legs back made him worse than Bonnie.
Still there is nothing Joe did that is as bad as what Bonnie did.
@@greywolf7577 Nothing shown on screen at least.
@Lechgang here's the thing about TV shows and books and movies and all that... if it doesn't happen on screen, and no character mentions it, it literally didn't happen because they are completely fictional characters and nothing that we don't see or hear about happens 😂😂😂

Do Animation’s WORST Sibling Relationships next!
Oooooh this should be interesting.😮😁
That would be interesting. The sibling relationships seem to be some of the healthier relationships in these cartoons.
Stan and Shelley Marsh would be on there.
Amy and Sammy, Eddy and his brother or Sarah and Ed(maybe the latter since we got more time with them but it’s confirmed with Eddy and heavily implied with Ed that these siblings are why they act the way they do), Eustace and his brother(only one episode if I remember correctly but it was enough to give Eustace ptsd), DW and Arthur, etc
Yeah that be an interesting video! I also would be cool with a worst friends list
@@theownerofthisaccount2521 Sammy is a good sister, Amy is the one who treated Sammy badly or as Amy calls her, Samey.
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 well besides Sammy giving Amy that fruit or their fighting in episode five but yeah, that was just Sammy snapping after years of abuse so it’s still Amy being a terrible sibling.
Worst siblings doesn’t necessarily mean both have to be in the wrong here. Like Starfire is a good sister to Blackfire but Blackfire made her go to jail in her place and tried forcing her into an arranged marriage with an ugly alien, it’s just one of the siblings has to be AWFUL, so I say Sammy and Amy still count
Joker and Harley Quinn are definitely the prime example. The other couples like Joe and Bonnie, Stan and Francine, or Peter and Lois, they do love each other. While The Joker sees Harley as a tool and a henchman like a punching bag. As Batman stated: Joker cares for no one but himself and Batman.
Just a note about Peter and Lois chesting: Peter's cheating is always some wacky gag, like him being the MOM of a 2nd family, or repeated homosexual affairs cause "that funnee tehee". Lois's affairs are treated more seriously and the joke is often just "man Peter is dumb npt to notice"
Nah they are both definitely cheating, they hate each other
TBH theses fictional couples would make for great marriage counseling examples, "if your relationship is anything like theirs probably give it a rest"
I'm surprised none of the Total Drama couples made it on the list, all of them end up going downhill in the end.
bc that kinda behavior is expected from teenagers who'll break up in 2 months anyway lol I think this vid was looking more at marriages / long-term adult relationships
I'm honestly tired of deadbeat parents. I'd actually like to see wholesome parents for a change.
May I suggest Bob and Linda Belcher?
@@mattj4005this. They're such goals
I’d say that the way Joker treats Harley Quinn is the worst of them all. You wouldn’t even know they were dating. I swear, I feel bad for Harley and I think I always have because she gets abused and tortured constantly
They started out talking about how Bonnie tries to murder Joe. That's far worse than what the Joker did to Harley.
@@greywolf7577The Joker has tried to directly kill Harley or intentionally put her in deadly situations on _multiple_ occasions in the comics. It also happens repeatedly in Batman’s animated shows.
Off the top of my head, in Batman: The Animated Series (or Batman Beyond, I forget) he throws her out of a window in one episode and leaves her strapped to a bomb in another. I 💯 *guarantee* there’s a long list of other attempts that I forgot.
In my opinion, Joker “wins” the biggest POS to his -partner- victim award by a long shot.
Edit- Separated the initial wall of text.
I actually stopped watching "Family Guy" because, in the later years, they seem to aim to make bullies and assholes laugh. The way they depict Joe and Bonnie has honestly bothered me for a very long time. It just makes me feel depressed about the money, time, and animators that went into punching DOWN at a group of people that, quite frankly, doesn't deserve it.
It is very strange what they decided to do with Joe’s character. He originally seemed like his character was going to be a 90s hard-ass cop stereotype who happened to become disabled while on the force (almost a younger version of Martin Crane from Frasier). Then they just did a complete 180 and made his character weak and pathetic. I get Family Guy isn’t Frasier and they aren’t going to have storylines about Joe finding a way to regain his confidence as a cop with the support of his community but making the only disabled character a weak sniveling loser is definitely a gross take.
Young teens want a Harley & Joker type relationship. I a condesour wants a Gomez and Morticia type of relationship. By the way Gomez and Morticia Addams are the best married couple in t.v history, unmatched
I didn't expect several content creators I've watched that talk about animated media in this. "What is this? A crossover episode?"
That was really nice to have some guests who shared their expertise
Where is that line from?... Bojack Horseman?
Beth and Jerry seem pretty stable now.
Once Rick made the clone, the Beth that chose to stay with Jerry felt fully content and finally let go of blaming Jerry for holding her back. Beth finally committing to Jerry (and Rick lowkey admitting defeat when it came to keeping them apart) allowed him to access a confidence he didn’t previously have. Even when she ended up acting out on her narcissism and having an affair with herself, Jerry responded with previously unseen confidence and basically said he was fine with it as long as he could also participate😮
I’ve been enjoying seeing this stable side of them. Harmons writers really know how to write character arcs.
I completely agree!
Ok, unpopular opinion and ready to have me impaled by pitchforks and burned at the stake…
Besides Stella and Stolas, Stolas and Blitzø should‘ve been on this list too.
Why?
As mentioned already in the video, Blitzø doesn’t reciprocate Stolas‘ feelings and I see him having no romantic attraction to him in any way. Besides, Blitzø has a history of effing up his relationships before and he clearly has his own ‚inner demons‘ to deal with.
Stolas already is in a crisis and wasn’t happy at all. He takes even medication against severe depression already in one scene. The only joy is just being with Blitzø. Stolas however talks to Blitzø in a way that is more akin to someone being majorly crushing on someone and being highly infatuated, aka having rose-tinted glasses.
Also… Stolas and Blitzø don’t show signs of approaching to each other or relating their feelings, I‘d say quite the opposite. Their relationship started just transactional and hasn’t evolved really much from it.
A romance at this stage will hurt both of them more then it‘ll mend/fix.
Both need to tackle and fix their own personal issues first before they can start a healthy romantic relationship. They need therapy, not love.
Afterall, best way to love someone is first being able to love yourself.
And let’s not forget that Blitzo’s love life is a pile of s**t. His relationship with Verosika is a perfect example. He didn’t return her feelings for him during sex and he stole her car.
I mean I don’t disagree there. Like the show made it clear that Stolas and Blitzo relationship is completely one sided and born out of self-gratifying misunderstanding rather than a mutual connection.
Frankly I kind of want the two to end this hedonistic affair born out of their own self-interest and just form a platonic relation where they connected through mutual interest. Like it did wonders for Moxxie and Millie or Fizzerolli and Asmodias
@@BigK13372I love how healthy Moxxie and Millie's relationship is in Helluva Boss, same thing with Fizzarolli and Asmodeus.💘
@@samflood5631I just hope Blitz will apologize to Verosika in the upcoming Apology Tour.
This is why i haven't watched it in a while and really don't plan to. The fans take the characters more seriously than the writers
Worth noting that in recent Rick and Morty seasons, Beth and Jerry’s relationship has improved considerably. It’s far better than its ever been before.
If Kelso and Jackie (That 70's Show) were animated character they would definitely be on this list. How sad is it those 2 got together in the sequel series.
Especially with the amount of times they broke up and got back together (even a second remarriage) We all know who should have been endgame.
They are so together that their actors are even married in real life.
I always loved Jackie and Hyde. Their personalities complimented each other perfectly.
I think this is the first time I've ever heard Kitty Monk say fuck uncensored
She asked me before recording and I said go ahead. Love Kitty Monk 😆
@@LydiaLovesTimelinesOh boy.😂
I think it’s Joker and Harley. Joker abused her a lot and it kinda started with an obsession rather than true love.
Joe and Bonnie is the saddest I find, leading to that affairs episode where she goes to Paris being one of the worst episodes FG has done.
Not as severe but still really bad, Cotton & Didi Hill are a terrible relationship.
Damn watching this videos makes me realise how sad cartoon couples actually are 💀
Bob and Linda are a somewhat happy couple.
Gerald and Sheila seem to keep the spark alive in their relationship.
The only time I'm supporting of The Joker and Harley's relationship is in The Lego Batman Movie, they show more respect and genuine care to each other there then in any other piece of batman media.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised by that. But I'm glad The Joker didn't abuse Harley Quinn in The Lego Batman Movie.
@@rainbowtoyfunrandomess1982 they're actually like a functional loving couple in The Lego Batman Movie.
I'd put Batman Ninja in the same boat myself.
I still think that stolas is a good dad despite his wifes abuse towards him and him cheating on her with blitz in the pilot. I feel bad for stolas because his father was very distant and his mother must have left her husband because of how paimon treats their son in a poor manor.
The list is about dysfunctional couples not whether or not, they are bad parents
I know but, stolas is a good father in my eyes.
cosmo and wanda (albeit them in the later parts of the show) would be perfect for this list
Well that's more due to bad writing.
Why can't Lois Divorce Peter After he Admits that he doesn't like being around his Kids In "April in Quahog?"
Even if they did they'd be reset back together in the next episode
Harley and Joker. It's 100% full classical abuse, and so many people stupefyingly adore it.
Clay and Bloberta from Moral Oral simple reason, there is no LOVE
I'd say, and this depends on the writers and where they want the episode's plot to go, the problem with the Smiths is that they do indeed love each other, BUT they go to wild extremes that swing both ways. Stan would put Francine in danger because he forgot their anniversary, but then he'd go in twice the danger himself to make things right. One time even trying to win her back again after her mind was wiped. Stan would be jealous that Francine had so many partners before they married he divorced her, married another woman to have a Christian approved sexual relationship, and then divorce her to remarry Francine. They'd both have a fight over a home renovation (ignoring their gay couple neighbor's warnings) and aggravate each other by pretending to have split up holidays with their kids, only to realize how miserable they are without each other. In the end, Francine admitted that she was rescued from a life of drugs, partying, and casual sex by Stan, and she's always going to be grateful for that (even though she's still prone to getting black out drunk and has a personal drug dealer still).
I like that Nolan (Omni-Man) and Debbie Grayson aren't here, since Debbie is Nolan's pet! (Who he married and had a kid with)
You must have only watched the series on Prime, right?
The "pet" comment aside, Nolan's never actually hurt Debbie, nor has he demeaned her, put her down, cheated on her, or tried to kill her. He has always loved her.
@@PintheDogas much as he can love someone who he sees as objectively inferior, that is.
I think anybody who ACTUALLY wants to have a unhealthy relationship like the one that joker and Harley had needs to be told why that's a terrible idea. also, good on Harley for eventually finding someone that'll treat her the way she should've been treated!! 👏🏻
I'd certainly argue Stella and Stolad from Helluva Boss at least deserve a mention. Stella lowkey hired a hitman to kill her husband
Harley & Joker’s relationship is just flat out weird between them in the cartoon series and in Suicide Squad when they love each other, but then he hates her again in Birds of Prey.
Even in, Lego DC Super Villains, Joker still doesn’t give a crap about her.
Sharon and Randy's relationship only started to suffer once both were Flanderized into their roles today, which is the sole sane voice of reason and the hard-headed catalyst of chaos respectively. Back in the early seasons of South Park, they were both good parents who occasionally slipped up but did their best to bring each other up, rather than putting the other down. Sharon was more laid back and Randy was less chaotic. There's a scene I think about a lot where Randy essentially says that he fell in love with Sharon's chest when Stan gets enamored by developing girls in his class, and she takes it as a compliment, smiling and telling Randy that she loves him. They're far from the worst couple, but they used to be so much better in my opinion.
there's one post i remember seeing a few years ago that sums up how i view Harley and the Joker's relationship: "the Joker is Harley's origin story, not her love interest"
edit before any confusion happens: I don't see Harley as just what the Joker did to her, far from the case. I just mean that he did heavily impact her start as a character given how she was originally made to be the Joker's sidekick, but he would fucking suck as a love interest, and she's far better without him and I think she's grown into a much stronger character with him out of the picture in recent media. I was mainly just trying to repeat the exact words of a post I saw a long while back without thinking about the possible implications. to me, he's I only see him as relevant to her as being part of her origin story, and she's much better off without him, whether that be relationship-wise or character-wise
also btw Harlivy's great, Harley deserves someone like Pamela
Ivy’s main objective is to kill *everyone* on earth through terraforming. Humanity literally disgusts her and sees it as a disease. How is *that* better for Harley? She even tries to initiate this plan multiple times throughout the show.
By this logic Ivy is objectively worse for her and both need to be permanently institutionalized. Moreover I’d argue ‘Harlivy’ doesn’t push their characters forward and is generally super toxic and weird.
This conversation somehow always turns into implied homophobia whenever any valid criticism comes up, but when people talk about Harley now, it’s only through the lens of shipping and sexuality, ironic since that was wrong when she started gaining mainstream popularity years ago; she was just Joker’s girlfriend and allegedly had no personality.
I have to wonder though - the show set up that Pamela left Gotham and never came back, and it's highly suggested that the Ivy we know from that episode onward is just a plant. So does Harley even have the real Ivy, or the standin?
The problem with this is that that’s kinda what made Harley interesting. Roller derby, girl boss Harley is far less interesting and less tragic than the original. Honestly I think if you want any “end” to Harley’s story having Harley die after being pushed out of a window is the best. Having Harley get over the joker is the equivalent to Spider-Man saving Uncle Ben or Mister Freeze getting Norah back. It just destroys what made the character interesting and tragic.
@@thedukeofchutney468 Kind of yikes to say the only thing that makes Harley interesting is her role as an abuse victim.
Harley is much cooler as an anti-hero honestly, a perpetual thorn in the side of the good guys, but someone who does what she wants while having a bit of a moral code of her own design is great. Example: Saving that small girl from that predator man who was trying to kidnap her. Having enough of a code of ethics to not fight Black Canary while she was pregnant because she's been there herself. Having to give up her beloved child to her own sister because it was the safest option and basically having to pretend her daughter isn't hers -- that crap eats her up inside. She's just as interesting now - though I think if they try to write her as someone who isn't at least a little broken still, that's when they'll fail her. But her moving on from her abuse and trying to be the best version of herself, as defined by HER is always going to be better than the broken, pathetically obsessed with her abuser, willing victim version of Harley.
@@Crow_Smith exactly!! like- i'm sorry if my original comment conveyed that I see Harley as just the Joker's abuse victim, i dont see her that way at all. i was just trying to convey that while the Joker was important in making Harley who she is today (for better or for worse), i see him as basically irrelevant to who she is as a character nowadays since she's grown into her own distinct character
again, really sorry that I worded my original comment weird, I was just repeating a post I saw a couple years ago, and now my original comment's been edited to make my point more clear. thank you for pointing this all out!
Bloberta and Clay, hands down. The Song "No Children" is like their theme song.
That's what Im saying they don't have a single moment in the entire show where they like each other their entire marriage is set on manipulation
It's so obvious it's them if you're seen the show
Maybe Duncan and Courny because things only get worse with them as they go on to the extent that they absolutely hate each other. They are like Joker and Harley but they are both Joker.
he didn't throw her into a volcano or send hyenas after her. the only way id think of them that level is if the writers made it more like that dark fanfiction I read.
@@chaosspy6723 Also, Duncan, as hinted in All-Stars, doesn't really hate Courtney. It's shown to the point of him trying to impress her all over again. Though Courtney, for sure, _does_ hate Duncan by that point.
I love how you covered morel orel considering not many people know about it, I definitely think they are the worst.
Eustace and Muriel didn't make it? I don't consider them the worst but they are toxic. It's never good when a woman's best option to deal with her husband is violence.
PS: I love the fact that Courage the Cowardly dog made Eustace both sympathic and irredeemable. If the show came out now the show would fixate on E's past and most likely give him a redemption arc.
She at least always held her own against him
I think they are disqualified due to the episode McPhearson Phantom and The Mask. Especially the latter which gave us the very rare nice moments from Eustace that really shows that he cares for Muriel (helps that in said episode it reminds us he is at least not a domestic abuser)
Yeah, unlike a lot of couples on this list the two do actually love each other and have genuinely cute moments. Muriel especially cares about Eustace because she’s the sweetest character(except towards his mother which given his backstory makes sense) while Eustace, who definitely had his bad moments, does show he cares. It’s just growing up he never had love from anyone so it’s also probably hard for him to really show that to someone else
I could have sworn you already posted this
I knew I wasn’t crazy

Can i add Cartman and Heidi ( appologies if incorrectly spelt) even when he was being "kind" to her he was still gaslighting her, put enormous pressure on her to sold Elon's equations and when she said she couldn't do it he spoke over her telling her that she did get it. Then the following season when he has his device's again he gets bored of her and manipulats her into a verson of him.
I remeber when I was younger I thought I wanted a relationship like Harley and joker, thinking I'd have someone who would do anything for me... intill I had a relationship like that and it was just as terrible i realized I needed to leave and he still tries to find me and get me back.
I think Bonnie became an ableist
What's that?
Look it up yourself
I don't know, she had an affair with another disabled guy
I'm tired of the statement of, "Joker groomed Harley" They are going out of their way to take away accountability from Harley so she can look like a good person.
Remember that Harley is not only an ADULT but also a doctor with years of collage practice, so the fact that Harley cannot see anything that Joker was trying to do is 100% on her!
This is the equivalent of being mad at McDonalds because someone burned their mouth on their Coffee. It's Coffee, You Numbnuts!! Of course it's hot!!

What about Kirk and Luanne from the Simpsons? Luanne does nothing but insult and belittle Kirk who can’t help being a loser. Worst of all, when she finds out that Kirk dated a woman, while they were divorced, Luanne acts like he’s the selfish one even though she was banging this bulk jerk who also treats Kirk like crap.
There’s also Blade and Nelson Nash’s relationship from Batman Beyond. Nelson cares more about his car than Blade, even when the Golem attack Gotham Mall, he freaked out as the Golem was destroying his car more than Blade almost dying from the attack. And during the Pier Dance incident when Willie Watts ordered the Golem to destroy the place out of revenge for how Nelson bullied him, Nelson just pushed Blade out of the way just to save his own ass.
And let’s not forget Jean Grey and Duncan Matthew’s relationship in X-Men Evolution. Duncan Matthew is nothing more than an idiot and Jean Grey is the smartest woman in Bayville High which makes them polar opposites. Plus Duncan also beats up Scott Summers whenever he feels like it. But when Jean and the X-Men were exposed as mutants and the whole school turned against them, Duncan decided to support Jean just so he can use her mutant powers to help him cheat his way through exams. Jean, being the smart one, decides to break up with him. How does Duncan handles this break? By attacking Scott and acting like he’s responsible for the whole breakup. And let’s not forget that when Jean tries to talk Duncan out of wiping out all mutants within the town of Bayville, Duncan refused to listen to Jean, causing her to use her powers to push Duncan out of the way and tell him that her days of putting up with him are over.

Stella and Stolas are also horrible the lady hired an assassin multiple times.
The best early Valentine's day animation youtube collab of the year
Helga Pataki's parents
really love the way you change art styles to fit whichever show your talking about
This video turned out so awesome!!
Thanks again for letting me chime in on the conversation.
Always a joy! 😁
Thanks for being a part of this Shawn. Everyone please go subscribe to him!
When I got the notification of this, I had the memory of Saber’s video he made of the same topic years ago, so when you put him in the beginning I was pleasantly surprised lol!
Still love the video Lydia!! And thanks again for giving a comment of mine a cameo in your video!!
Good cartoon couples. Mr and Mrs Dupain Cheng, Hiccup and Astrid, Jack and Maddie Fenton, Mr and Mrs Possible, Mr and Mrs Stoppable, Cosmo and Wanda (in the early show), Emmett and Wyld Style, Vaggie and Charlie, Moxxie and Millie, Stolas and Blitz (sort of), Asmodeus and Fizz, Beelzebub and Vortex, Sheriff Blubs and Deputy Durlain.
I saw Harley Quinn as Stolas and was like "Okay but where's Stolas?" after I found out it was actually Harley, and then I saw Stolas.
Homer and Marge(Simpsons) and Lana and Robert (archer) should have got a mention.
As a hardcore Simpsons fan, Homer and Marge have had a bit of a rocky marriage in some parts but overall I think they are fine!
Yeah Homer and Marge DEFINITELY don’t count.
Like if anything they are one of the best and most dynamic animated couples
I’d say Stella and Stolas are pretty bead considering Stella hired a hitman to kill him but only when she found out that she needed him alive for a bit long called it off and as much as I like Stolas he’s not the best either because he’s cheating on her with Blitz (even though I see why because she makes his life a living nightmare)
Stella is such a monster. She and Odalia should get along.😬
Okay but Stella’s the worst. She props cheated on Stolas anyway with her own brother
Best collab since Jimmy/Timmy PowerHour omggggg like yall are amazing and this video is killer, love seeing some of my fav creators work together, and excited to subscribe to a couple that are new to me!!!!
Thank you! Always super fun collabing with these awesome people 😎
I'm going to assume this list isn't including anime, because otherwise you'd have so many dysfunctional couples it would be hard to pick just ten, specially when you start delving into the... adults only shows, let's call them.
How about Spongebob's parents? We never get to exactly see deep into their relationship, and there is clearly a major age gap. It seems like Spongebob's dad is a large grouch, while Spongebob's mom seems so nice. They may act nice around their son so then they don't put so much of a burden on him as he is clearly a worrier and someone who always puts others before himself, so they may actually hate each other. Just a theory, guys.
Your correct on all of your options so far and yes do the South Park episode of Randy Marsh
Stan and Francine are very interesting because they're both extremists.
When Francine wants a bit of surprise in their marriage, Stan starts pranking her. Francine joins in to get back at him, ending with the couple walking into the house, terrfied of each other. And that's just one example, together they turned a vacation into killing an enemy of the state, forced a young couple to get pregnant, and intentionally got lost in the Australian outback just because they enjoy danger.
The clearest example comes when Francine mentions her ex-fiance Travis. Yeah, crucial mistake. Stan ends up faking his death and installing CIA surveillance cameras in the house to see if she cheats. But Francine quickly notices them and pretends to move on with Travis for months. When Stan comes back after being deserted on an island, Travis tells them 'you are both complete lunatics. You two are made for each other'. And yep, yep they are
Yay, two of my favorite TH-camrs in one video
Hank and peggy didnt even make the list?!
Another amazing video, Lydia. You’re one of the best TH-camrs
Aw thanks Ryan 💛
i'd have to say Stolas and Stella is the ultimate worse
Ya think?! I mean it's obvious.
Family Guy is so full of unhealthy couples, it even depicted Chip and Joana Gaines from Fixer Upper as an unhealthy couple.
Batman is The Joker's one true love
I’d love to see the randy and Sharon one!! Love your South Park vids Fr
Lydia not watching Moral Orel is horrid
Best collab ahhhh love Saber❤❤❤❤
in regard of Joker and Harley
i'm glad the Harley Quinn show exists
it gives Joker a family he's truly happy with
and shows Harley and Poison Ivy as a strong, happy couple
We can also thank the comics for taking the first steps in Harley her independence from the Joker. The writers eventually weaned her into the Harley we know from her self-titled show where she’s left the Joker and is with Ivy as well as her rogues gallery of allies
I’m surprised Ben Tennyson and Kai Green didn’t make the list.
That's cause Omniverse never really showed them much as a couple, despite that shows misguided insistence that they belong together.
Or July and Ben. I mean, that has got to be the worst and sloppiest break up I have ever seen!
90% of Disenchanted relationships would fit well here
I love any of your South Park content(along with the simpsons that was what I first watched your channels for, but now I also love the dedication to different videoes/topics/shows), so if you would like to do an indepth video on Stans parents, go for it, but yeah if only a few people watch your south park content in general, I can see, if you think it's not worth it, but to me you are great in whatever you put out because of the time and effort, but we all have shows that didn't really speak to us/we didn't really follow(for me of yours so far its American dad and family guy), and therefor don't watch videos about. And yeah I think I'd chose joker and harley as well.
How about now you do a Best mom in cartoons, Best dad in cartoons and Best couple in cartoons.
Pains me to do a comment all over again after the original upload of this video was taken down, but here we go.
Personally, I think Peter x Lois are the worst couple mentioned in your video. Their relationship doesn't work anymore, if they keep cheating on and abusing each other. I also hate Joe x Bonnie and Stan x Francine (Francine needs to find a better man, honestly). Joker x Harley Quinn is so understandable, though I haven't been watching too much of Batman in my childhood to understand. But I heard Harley ditches the Joker in her adult-animated spin-off, and the 2019 DC Super Hero Girls show also tackles their bond, because she is friends with Batgirl in her secret identity. As for Randy x Sharon, I still think they are good. Besides, Stephen and Linda are far worse, not just abusing their son Butters, but taking it out on each other, and Stephen cheats on Linda with a gay man.
One other cartoon couple I'd wanna bring up is Blossom x Jared Shapiro in the 2016 The Powerpuff Girls reboot; it's a teenage boy and young girl in love! Eww! 🤮 But then everybody hates the reboot anyway and it's probably not your thing. I know there's plenty more that I don't need to mention, and they don't match up to ones like Peter x Lois, in characters anyway.
Okay, please don't hate me but I actually like the Powerpuff Girls Reboot.😬
Okay, fair enough.
@@callum110597 Thanks for understanding.
Another good mention of the worst couple is Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter. If you want a perfect definition of toxic Positive relationship it's dating Mr. Peanutbutter. Diane was attracted to him because he was a nice guy, and slowly the 2 of them would get along, live together and eventually get married. The big downfall of this relationship is the lack of communication and full commitment of understanding said partner when one of them says they don't like big parties or big grand gestures. Diane has trouble opening up her thoughts and feelings due to how she grew up with her family being abuse, meanwhile Mr. Peanutbuttter hear's but doesn't listen completely and would continue to shower his wife with big grand gestures till the biggest nail on the coffin was the Bell Room based on Beauty and the Beast.
I can't believe I just heard Kitty Monk say Fuck.
Sakura and Sasuke, I at least always hated there relationship. Also Kora and Mako not sure why people thought Kora and Asami were a good idea. Kora would probably find a way to wreck the relationship pretty quickly.
Love the video! And guests are always so cool.
the south park thing..tbh i wouldn't watch it because i'm intrested in it. i would watch it cause i really like your voice and background noise is always welcome.
I always get these strange nostalgic shivers when Moral Oral is brought up. I watched it when I was way too young (11-14) so I didnt get most of the *jokes* fully, but I understood enough to know it was talking about heavy topics. But watching some reviews on it, it brings back the memories and now I fully understand the *jokes*
The reason why Beatrice refused to get an abortion was because as a little girl, her dad burned up her baby doll for being contaminated with red fever, but it was her most prized possession, and it basically scarred her. Therefore, the idea of an abortion felt like reliving that trauma.
