Roger having intimate relationships with three generations of the Smith family is both funny and not at all surprising. I wouldn’t be surprised if a future episode reveals he had more affairs with older Smiths.
As the canon is right now (which could change), he crash landed in the Old West, went back to space at some point, and then came back to Earth during the 20th century. So it's possible.
I honestly could see that being an episode as well, probably with Stan being absolutely pissed finding out just after praising the Smith Ancestry tree for being all so superior
I think quagmire would be fine with Roger in a femme persona, and would go along with whatever depraved shenanigans Roger would come up with, until Roger came up with such depravity that Quagmire would have to put some limits down.
@@jelly_4_brainzexactly I feel like Roger would make Quagmire want to tame his love life lol. And he would only be able to accept Roger in a feminine persona.
Something I love about Roger is that his rapport with the Smiths fluctuate: Francine can coddle him or being tired of him, Haley can appreciate him or be annoyed by him, Steve can be best friends with him or find him too disturbing, and Stan finds him either useless or ride-or-die.
I've realized something about Roger: While his home planet & species haven't been shown or discussed much throughout the show, when you put what we know all together Roger is probably the worst of his people. He cheated on his lover who was the leader of their species, which led to him getting revenge by assigning Roger as a crash test dummy. Roger also got a relative of his killed when he came to Earth the 1st time by crashing the ship they came in back in the 19th century yet felt more bad for the human family he got killed over his actual family. There are also plenty of examples of how Roger could use technology from his home world to help Earth, yet he doesn't & constantly gets humans killed & could leave Earth whenever he wants to but instead continues to mooch of the Smiths.
I love how Rodger is just so lost in his own personas that when he has two of his personas argue with each other, suddenly a completely unrelated persona named Raider Dave interrupts briefly for no reason😂
I dont think Roger is capable of having a long-lasting romantic love but really loves the smiths, but at the end of the day, Roger loves himself the most.
I know it’s a played out line but I feel like Roger’s true love is himself. He’s too selfish and impulsive to care about anyone as much as he cares about himself. Even when he shows compassion it’s only to people that are/have been important to him or one of his personas, it’s never out of pure selflessness.
@@MinorKey135 yeah but that was just one of a million cases of him going completely overboard and was still ultimately for selfish reasons. The family was sick of him being such a dick all the time and started ignoring him and because he’s dumb and impulsive the only solution he could come up with was to never be mean at all instead of actually trying to be nicer in general.

Roger pretty much depends on the writers and how far they're going to push him. He also has a tendency to perv on Steve quite a bit, so there's that unfortunate implication. Anything else depends on how much continuity they want to keep in the series. I don't think Roger himself is capable of anything long term and deeply meaning since he is over 1600 years old and has been so many personalities. In Persona Assistant, at least 2 of his many personas are married (as a 50's style housewife, and as the husband in an old Chinese couple). I think the reason why Roger seemed more upset with his relationships with Snot and Dick was because the relationships initially did not end on his terms. Once again, his need for control is displayed, and he showed that panic and psychological distress through his personas. Once they were back on his terms, however, he killed off those personas so he wouldn’t risk that happening with those same people again.
I might have missed you mention - Roger was married to a judge for years, I think it was the first Ricky Spanish episode. Also the first rogu episode a clip shows a Roger character serving coffee to a man in a domestic setting. I'm sure there's more which is why it's easy to miss some
This was a cool video, it really does make sense to why Roger never had a serious relationship. Knowing that he cheated on his lover, he’s always putting on a different persona to keep the CIA from catching him which means that he’s never his true authentic self and no one knows the real him. That Christmas episode certainly explains a lot, it’s one of many reasons why I think Klaus and Roger are a good couple. They can truly be themselves without pretending to be someone else and do it whenever they want. There could be potential to explore the romance aspect of their relationship
I think you should make one of these for Bart Simpson. It wouldn't be as long as some of these other characters, but if I'm not mistaken, he has had a ton of partners.
Roger is a alien from a planet that we don’t know about which the show doesn’t acknowledge fully which is definitely interesting because you get shades of Roger’s true character but just flashes but Roger is a promiscuous being that definitely doesn’t true his self just different personals
At this point is there even a person in langly falls that roger hasn't slept with he even sleeps with Avery and Dick despite both of them being C.I.A agents that are actively trying to hunt him down
With Sydney we actually see two Rogers so it is believable that he can kind of like split himself up to have his own body and then his persona is living their own life but at the same time still being him
I honestly doubt Roger would ever have a serious healthy relationship with anyone out of the Smith family whether is romantic or not. He can't be emotionally open wearing a disguise, but he can't risk his identity either. I think Roger is just too far gone at this point. Maybe an episode with another alien that uses personas and has a thing with Roger could help with this?
I like that Roger is clearly the most worked on character in the show, he couldnt even do disguises at first and just wore that rasta hat, then he eventually developed the split personalities and has hundreds of them

Didn’t know that about the alien kardashian thing. Don’t think they’ll come back considering everything that has come out about them. Scams, scandal, etc.
@LydiaLovesTimelines 2:59 Even Wikipedia and the Wiki Fandom website is complicated. Wikipedia placed this episode that you mentioned "A Piñata Named Desire" as Season 7 Episode 11. American Dad Wiki Fandom placed "A Piñata Named Desire" as Season 6 Episdoe 11. If you look at comparing the two websites, the whole complication started from Season 1 where Wikipedia put Season 1 as 7 episodes while American Dad Wiki goes by 23 episodes. Meaning that the Wikipedia "Season 2" is the remaining 16 episodes of American Dad Wiki Season 1 (23 episode). It gets even further convoluted for American Dad Wiki puts Season 10 as 18 episodes while Wikipedia split these episodes from Season 11 (3 episodes) and Season 12 (15 episodes) So, right now: the most recent American Dad episode: "Into the Jingleverse" (Wikipedia - Season 20 Episode 22 & American Dad Wiki - Season 18 Episode 22) which is two seasons gap.
After LS Mark’s review of watching EVERY American Dad episode EVER, I’ve come to realize that Family Guy SHOULD be the show on TBS, NOT American Dad! It’s billions times better!
Damn, I haven't watched this show since 2013. It stopped airing on Finnish TV that year and I honestly thought it was cancelled. I learned years later that it had just switched networks.
What about Roger’s persona Edith from the Ricky Spanish episode? It’s only a short scene but it’s mentioned that he’s been married for 35 years. Roger even tells Steve that “if it’s important, you find the time”. I wouldn’t argue if he’s really in love or not since we only see a brief interaction, but he’s definitely able to commit if they’ve been together that long.

I'm surprised red head girl's death and Rogers personas deaths were allowed but Rogers disection Is pixelated
that part did always creep me out anyway
I’M BEGGING YOU CAN YOU PLEASE DO STEVE NEXT🙏
Didn’t know that about the alien kardashian thing. Don’t think they’ll come back considering everything that has come out about them. Scams, scandal, etc.
omg finally someone talking about the Alicia Wilkner lore
I'd have to say Roger as Sydney with Judy… seems wholesome imo

Even Wikipedia and the Wiki Fandom website is complicated.
It gets even further convoluted for American Dad Wiki puts Season 10 as 18 episodes while Wikipedia split these episodes from Season 11 (3 episodes) and Season 12 (15 episodes)
So, right now: the most recent American Dad episode: "Into the Jingleverse" (Wikipedia - Season 20 Episode 22 & American Dad Wiki - Season 18 Episode 22) which is two seasons gap.
Please make more American dad videos I love them !!!!
Another Great video 💯
28:00 "I told you that no one makes a decent red wig these days, so I had to go find my own." Wait- is that why he dated so many gingers? Oh my god 💀
Roger looked like shane dawson when he was with red head girl 😂
Roger would get bored being with one person. He's an alien of contradictions.
Do "Steve Smith's True Love" next
After LS Mark’s review of watching EVERY American Dad episode EVER, I’ve come to realize that Family Guy SHOULD be the show on TBS, NOT American Dad! It’s billions times better!
Which one is that American dad or a Family Guy?
Can't wait for Dan The Man's review of every episode. I like that Mark shouted him out in his video
@@benderbendingrodriguez420 Considering new episodes are currently airing, I’m not sure when that day is gonna come.
Family guy is so boring now...
I would love to see an episode where Roger reacts to Rogu dating
The insane love life of Steve
How about a crossover where Rodger meets Quagmire
Damn, I haven't watched this show since 2013. It stopped airing on Finnish TV that year and I honestly thought it was cancelled. I learned years later that it had just switched networks.
I think Rogers superpower is that he can‘t die
5:35 I don’t think it’s entirely weird that he would go for teenagers when everyone on earth is technically like a teenager to him.
Omg I can't believe we have the same favourite movie ❤
Roger is the Cody Nutkiss of American Dad! 😅😂👍
