It's just so unfair that Samsung will not be updating the Note 20 Ultra to One UI 6 and onwards. I still love this phone..
Kind of a good thing since One UI 6 has a questionable new quick panel and more glitches
Yes It's a Very good Phone and Looking better than Note 24 Ultra.
@unionics nah I prefer the flat display and the camera on the s24 ultra
I'm still using my note 9 from ~2018 and it absolutely still works
I still have mine as my backup! Love it. I upgraded to the 20 ultra last year but I still miss my N9
1000% YES!!!
EVEN NOW, THIS DEVICE IS ONE OF THE BEST!!!
I forgot to mention that this device also supports MST - Magnetic Secure Transmission. Samsung also removed this feature from there newer devices.
What is that?
The phone mimics a swiped card on a machine that doesn't have tap to pay.
🤯🤨🫣
It's so hard to accept 😭😂😂😂😂😂
should i buy it again? renewed excellent?
The note 20 is still good in 2024 to me in my opinion
Yo my note 20 ultra is elite. Still works well and i can expand my memory 😄
I'm still using the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. And I'm thinking abt upgrading to the Note 20 Ultra 5G
Same here, still thinking.
It freaking better. I paid that thing off a year ago. Have not put a single screen protector on it except for just a good case... This is my forever phone until somebody can convince me otherwise lol
Note 20 ultra is one of the most beautiful devices i've ever owned. S7 edge and S9 plus to name a few. Its massive but surprisingly light. I just upgraded to s24 ultra
right!! the s8 was so lightweight and it works perfect. planning to get note 20 this year probably
Another good video, keep them coming 👍🏼.
great video man and oh one more thing
Note 20 Ultra is a 2024,2025,2026 certified beast and it's a major major major go!
flossy carter inspired 😁
Hell no bro stops at android 13, I would rather go for one from the s21 series
@@tobilobaakinpelu3481That's not a big deal
Haha yesh
Let's goooo. My favorite new TH-camr. I just purchased a Google 6 pro off your recommendation
Glad I could help
Best phone ever ❤
Great video❤❤ watching from my lg v60
LG could've been a major player in the smartphone industry if they had played their cards right😞
Watching Your video on my Note 10 ultra while I'm transferring my stuff to Note 20 ultra.
is note 10 still a good buy?
@roichipineda6953 yes
Love my note 20 ultra. Had it for 4 years now. I've heard Samsung discontinued software updates for the note 20 ultra. If so, I'm considering upgrading to the S24 ultra.
Hello @Vern im watching this on my LG v60 😅. Great content 👍🏾
Thanks bro for your support👍
Thanks for the content. Please let me know how did you add those icons and that design on the lock screen?
I’m going from an iPhone 13 mini to this.👌 Haven’t had a Samsung in years!!! Just ready for a tablet type device and then I’ll use it alongside my next apple pro upgrade.🤘Idk maybe I’ll stick with the future Ultra whateva instead.. we’ll see.
That is because the US got the Snapdragon version and the rest of the world got the exynos version
Note 20 Ultra: Best Looking Phone EVER Made!
A teensy bit late, but I'd say yes, because it is the last samsung flagship with expandable memory, camera is still adequate too, and there's also the s pen.
Watching on my S21 Ultra...😍😍
Hey Ur S21 ultra have line issues
And what ur android version 13 or 14
Nope here haha Can go until Android 16 which is next year hahahaha
Thumbs up, headphone Jack and sd card are mandatory. .I'm still using note 8 and 9
I'm still using in 2 year😍🇧🇩✌️
Really good video! Now I will buy this smartphone. One question. Where Do buy your very cool whatch?? Greetz from Germany😊
Thank you for watching. I buy pretty much all my electronics devices from Amazon.com
Last Note and the best one, shame it isn't supported anymore
Are there any workaounds for this phone or the S20 Ultra 5g for the final security updates? Great video
You sir, convinced me to pick up a refurbished unit in the near future… Thank you for the review!
You're welcome and thanks for watching 😊
Make sure to replace the battery
@@devilkazumi578 - Definitely will need too, that’s for sure!
I vote you get a moto edge+ 2023. Something tells me you'd like it
Great Device Thanks For The Review 🙏🏾
Your welcome
The last greatest Phone ever made the s series are just a continuation on the Note series I will keep my ultra until it black out
I got one from amazon for around 300 bucks. Good screen, build, camera. SD CARD support. I was lucky enough to get an actual "used, like new" from the amazon warehouse and NOT refurbished. I've had amazon renewed devices, and they are always questionable.
Sir excellent review, Iam from India big fan sir
Thanks 👍
Just bought 1 of these to pair with my note 10 plus
I still use s20 fe and its great so note 20 ultra should too
No, green line issue has reached even me, no hardware damage
I use my note 20 ultra for gaming and watching videos.
Hardly use phone for camera
I had the Note 20 Ultra. I upgraded to the S23 Ultra. And the note 20 Ultra battery life is so poor compared to the S23Ultra but its alot older. The consistancy / lag or bugs. i have had 0 issues with my S23Ultra not sure why u had them maybe an US thing.
As a back up phone its great the Note 20 Ultra. But its now getting to the point no updates with android etc. But my daughter is more then happy with the Note 20 Ultra :)
For me i couldnt go back to it. I love my S23 Ultra.
You can always update it yourself with a different os that updates there software yearly
I like everything about this device, except i doubt the photo quality in this device (which is the most important for me). After using a Pixel device for years, i doubt i can adjust with lower photo quality!
😊
I am already using S23 Ultra as my daily driver, but I still keep my Note 20 Ultra. It still keeps up with the S23 Ultra even if it does no have that AI feature. It still rocks! I limited the phone to max charging to 80 percent only so the battery still lasts a day.
Sounds like a plan to me 👍
In your use case, have you encountered any issue with this phone's screen getting that "green slash" ?
No
Watching on my Note 10+
Is $110 usa worth it in 2024?
And you know that I'm actually pretty impressed by the older S series.
Vernon i am about to go in a zone where i am saving as much money as i can. Right now i am looking for a phone that has good cameras (have a family with 3 kids), good processor (like to game occasionally), and a great screen and decent battery. Would you recommend this phone or another? I prefer 12gb ram also. Budget is 450, maybe 500 max
This maybe out of your budget but I would recommend the OnePlus 12. It's the complete package
@@vernonleewarren280 I apologize I just saw this message. Yeah the 12 would be legit and I could get it, but it would take away from what I doing. I wish!
Had my S8 for 6 years and I got no micro scratches.
You should get the S24 Ultra and review it
Im using this phone and it has alot of scratches is it okay not to use tempered glass? Bacause I cant find one in my country😢
I'm using mine for 3 years without any screen protector and the screen is in perfect condition, zero scratches
Green lines are appearing on samsung ultra screen after warranty. Samsung trigger the green lines when you do a upgrade / Good luck getting used ultra.
I have no green lines on any of mine ultra's
@@vernonleewarren280 me neither
The only downside is the battery and upgradable to android 13 only
it rrally should be valuable. Its the last of the Model
Ive broken Note 20U and it is costing me 20,000 INR($240) to replace display, should i repair it or buy any other brand phone?
Go on and buy a new phone.. there's no point in spending that much money on display😊
You can still use it as via Samsung Dex :) Let it live on as a portable entertainment device. Just hook it up to a hub for peripherals.
Flat displays are better. More screen protector options and its more durable and it feels better in the hand.
That's your opinion. Everyone doesn't feel the same way. We are all entitled to our opinions. Yours is not wrong neither is mine or others are wrong. Everyone is not going to like the same things. That's what makes all of us different and unique.
I actually have the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and you definitely had gotten a defected model because my phone is super fast, smooth, snappy, sharp, and consistent across the board. It never lags, stutters, or has even an occasional hiccup. Its always a fluid experience everday for me. It's also a lot smoother than any iPhone I've ever had as well and since the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is one of the best processors ever made for a smartphone I'm quite sure anyone without a defected version of the phone will tell you it's WAY more "consistently smooth" than it's 3 year old predecessor.
How long have you been using this phone
Did u have to replace the screen because of the green line issue?
3 years
Dude didn't even answer the full question😂
Between the Note 20 ultra and Mi11 ultra, which do you recommend man?
MI 11 Ultra
Is there any hope that phone getting android 14 or its impossible because its from 2020
No. It will not receive anymore android or software updates
I love galaxy phones, but Curved screen is really a Big No ,to me.
Bro can never ever talk down on any Samsung S Series video quality in his life while filming 1080p content. Im just saying, its nothing wrong with full HD but this guy sure does like to critique every aspect of a smartphone in his videos so video quality is never something I want to hear him hate on while posting content with a maximum resolution of 1080p🤣
I used my note 20 ultra and I hate the curved screen so I bought the S 24 Ultra
Don't forget MST support
Yes your right I forgot about that 👍
how is battery life
Subpar
To use the 1440p @ 120hz have you tried this? th-cam.com/video/rR3_ah1hpA0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gyU3348aH2zikVJb
Battery???
Still good! Use mine pretty heavily each day and stick to the 85%max 20% charging regime and have not noticed any degradation in battery life.
12:36 *cough cough* samsung note 7 go boom boom and samsung doesn't want it happening again, they were playing it safe. (i think idk o-o)
Just remember as I reven if you have a pixel phone. What's the cameras are always much better. But just rent the Google One camera from google. It runs perfectly. On all Samsung phonespecially to know 20 ultra and the whole. Note an s series on Samsung's phones simple. Is that easy peasy
Still gets updates???
Yes. Security updates
If I were you I wouldn't really worry about it. Not such a big deal
Just got mine refurbished in the mail a week ago. It's all good. 👍 Screen did freeze on me once but that was it.
@@yolandakidd5339 I'm looking for a new note 20 on eBay. Since I live in Brazil and import tax here is 92% for products over $50 my Canadian friend will bring me it 🙂
Just upgraded from a note 9 to an s24 plus
Is the AI cool n all?
@@louiseyowela5646 haven't yet, don't see the need for it yet
They gettin cheap taking away sd card slot and the headphone Jack....Deal breaker 👎😐 but they charging more money SMH
Truth but unfortunate
My s gear Is just a watch minute apps work and can't make phone calls 17:46
Its more like the design should have been the actual s20 ultra instead hahahaha
I feel so cheap seeing this being asked, lol
pink lines green lines kills the phone.
That actually makes this phone great for cheapskates. Lines don't transfer when you use Samsung dex.
60hz in 2024 💔💔💔
That phone doesn't have 60hz screen what are you talking about?
Hello @vernonleewarren280 pls how did you get one ui 6.1 in your Note20u ? Mine stops at 5.1
Pls I will be in the comment section
I don't believe I said I have One UI 6.1. I'm on 5.1
@vernonleewarren280 okay pls how did you get the updated always on display 😳 I really need it on My note 20 ultra 😫
@vernonleewarren280 also how did you get the lockscreen of one ui 6.1 and latest AOD on the 5.1
@yusufbolaji5007 I didn't know the AOD was updated. It appears to be the same as before the 5.1 update
Best phone 2024,25,26,27.... ☝️
@tiktokbalkanika yes indeed!! It's still getting security updates 👌🏾
