I came out of retirement from playing modern warfare strategy sims when I seen the proof of product given by the pre-release developer streams of Sea Power by Stealth17 and Wolfpack365. Former highly experienced player from Janes Fleet Command who has also played Harpoon. Was in one of the online multiplayer groups (called virtual navies) of the game where we played against the best talent in the world around the early 2000s (2000-2004). Quite a few former US navy and I think at least one was a former US marine that were in that group of players. I hope the developers hit all their roadmap objectives so it gets the single player experience polished up properly so there will ample reason to add multiplayer support for player vs player and cooperative. I went into retirement from playing these games because all the multiplayer interest dried up over the years.
Loving the game, as a retired missile fire controlman (Tartar/Aegis). There are some things that aren't true to the fact, but good enough. Graphics are awesome. Cannot wait till they upgrade it all the way to current days, to include China, drones, etc. Farthest I can go with mission editor currently is 1992, no Ford class, Burke, etc.
@Toktott well damn. I even left it running for a while to see if it would crash, but I never got one. My system is a freaking beast so that might have something to do with it. The UI is adjustable if you mean what/where you want things on the screen.
It's a memoy leak problem. the devs have confirmed they are focusing on the issue. It's a bug that rapidly fills up your RAM. If you notice, the longer you play the more the performance downgrades up until an eventual crash due to overload. I'm hopng they'll fix it soon.
@camelhound1 ahh that would explain why I didn't see it. My system has a buttload of ram so I probably didn't play it long enough in one sitting to cause the glitch.
@@thegimpygamer yeah it's so weird cause I tested RAM usage and in one scenario it reached 13gb. Closed the scenario and started a different one. It remained as is at 13gb from the previous scenario and increasing. Ideally you close the game completely and then start a new scenario to "empty" your memory
@camelhound1 yea I don't think I ever did 2 back to back. I would do one then close it out to upload my footage. Restart the game and do the process again. It does seem like they are putting out a lot of updates so hopefully it will be resolved quickly.
Good game, but a lot of bugs need ironed out before it's great. Twice now my missiles have disappeared halfway through scenarios. The missiles are being fired and are there, you just cant see them on the map. Also a few CTDs. But definitely a lot of potential with this one.
@boyerwulf66 second guy saying he got a CTD. I hate when that happens to others but not me because then I can't report on it. I didn't notice any missing missiles, but I'll pay closer attention to see if I see that happening. Usually there are so many launching I can't keep track of all of them🤣.

I refunded my copy. A couple of crashes and terrible UI were the main reasons. Might check it out when it releases out of early access
