Remember, 2 cultivated hexes block LOS. Units in blocking terrain (woods) also gain an additional 1d6 bonus against ATGMs (Green attack dice). So for that TOW reaction shot, you couldn't of fired due to LOS and if the shot had been clear the Soviet unit would of gotten one more bonus defensive die. Also, I don't think there are national differences in the ATGM depletion chart - the differentiation comes from type of firing platform (Inf or Armor Support Weapon, Dedicated ATGM Vehicles or Helos and IFVs).

Frussians don't have command and control only movement and attack doctrine like ww2

All these modern games should be revised. We now know frussian tactics and equipment, except arty was crap.

Have you played "Corps Command: Dawn's Early Light - Red Hammer"? If so, how does it stack up against this? Seems like they are pretty similar games.

I managed to cash out my Monpoc pledge for Super Fantasy brawl and actually got it. Glad I did obviously, and I feel bad for everyone who got burned. Some people lost a thousand bucks or more.

I’d play this some, but even on sale, it just feels overpriced for how much I’d actually play. At $45-50, I’d consider it. I am intrigued by it, but Target for Today, Hunters, and American tank are probably enough. I’d definitely pay for a digital download of the pdfs needed to play it on Vassal.

This one feels bland compared to the others like The Hunters/Hunted and that tank one that I forgot the name (old game). They forgot that weather is a double edged sword for airplanes. It makes it harder for your airmen to find and hit their target(s) but it also makes the ennemy harder for them to find your airplanes. I also agree that those pilot tokens are not interesting and just increases the price of the game uselessly. I would have made them a downloadable thing on their website, but not in the game box.

Thank you for making the point about what rulebooks should do! They hardly ever work because they are written by the designer who is obviously already too immersed.

Hello! The reason your fleet (The Surface Action Group or SAG) was smashed so hard was that your guns and missiles were firing at visual tracks with no radar guidance. Without the Air Search Radar on, they did not see the MiGs until it was too late and never even saw the missiles that hit them.

How much do they pay the likes of you and the mighty jingles to shill this?

The G suffix means Guided Missile armed.

I consider World At War 85 my best Kickstarter purchase. I was hooked from the first scenario. I'm still playing it and am REALLY looking forward to getting Blood & Fury.

Did you ever try the tabletop game 'Ranger' from Omega Games? Has a pretty detailed "choose your own adventure" paragraph style multi-choice system to run through each of your missions after planning.

Just wanted to let you know, that originally the mat was an extra that had to be purchased. Later in the development process they decided to include the mat for all people who purchased the game. I am about 90% sure of that.

Damn, it sounds really interesting and an improvement over BCS system with similar Fatigue process. Will try to get a copy of this one to try out...

In the first attack turn you couldn't fire at the STUG IV because you forgot to rotate the turret
