Hello and thanks for the Tutorial. I have noticed in this tutorial, and in my game what I thought was a glitch. Now since seeing this video (thank you again), I am pretty sure it is by design. When you launch an aircraft from the flight deck of a carrier, the carrier speed automatically increases, and the ship can not alter course, not even with an attempt with direct control. This state persist until the aircraft is off the deck. Likewise when an aircraft is RTB and enters a Holding pattern, the ship will automatically increase speed to 30 kt., and again will not deviate from the course it was on when the speed increase was initiated. After the aircraft lands on the deck, moves to the elevator, is lowered to get off the elevator, and only when the elevator is back level with the flight deck, then the ship resumes its previous speed order, and becomes responsive to direct control, or other input such as drop down menues, or map course input. This remains in effect until the last aircraft that has entered a holding pattern has completed the same process as noted. Thanks again.
I found out you can group your formations like most games with holding the control and 1, 2, 3...ect keys. You can then single press 1, 2 or 3 ect to select the group. Makes multiple forces management so much easier. Double click the corresponding number to move your tactical map to the unit.
if you hold shift you can keep right clicking at each location you wish to place a sonobuoy... hope that helps! unless you were looking for the automatic 3x3 square you can tell a heli to set... then i cant help you xD
i WILL TRY IT, BUT i think it is the same for the S3, left SHIFT and CTRL with Right Click on map. Hope that helps. I am sorry I have to edit, I forgot to mention first click on the weapon selection on th bar at bottom, should turn red or orange or whatever that color is, then use the map, and the above LEFT SHIFT, and LEFT CTRL and a RT CLICK ON THE MAP. A pattern will display, and BEFORE the sonabouy is dropped you can left click on them to drag to the position you want. Have fun.
Can someone tell me how to go back to main menu. I have finish a 1 star scenario but I dont know what button to press to go back to main menu and I cant find it. So what I did was press Alt + F4

I read in the steam faq that they intend to have lots of mod support and allow for changing things for different assets like their 3-d models, their behaviors, and their sounds. I think they also are allowing entire new assets and are even planning to make guides on how to do some of these things. I think they even made it so that, where applicable, the language can be changed to accommodate non english speakers or non native speakers

When I saw this yesterday on my recommended video, I immediately remember & buy it.

How can I get he helicopters to lay multiple sonobuoys instead of doing it one at a time?
I am trying to find out how that works too, saw a TH-cam guy setting a formation in one click

Rn what I do is select the sonobuoys and then hold shift so I can click multiple times. If you want a waypoint in between buoys, you'll have to hit escape to deselect, and then just hold shift to make a waypoint, then select the buoy again and hold shift again to place the marker.
Does the game have a campaign or is it separate engagements?
Dynamic campaign (to be added soon) as well as full editor is included in the game (and lots of individual missions of course).
