It was actually the drowned woman that Mia first let in that was pretending to be her mother the whole time. Also if you slow it down at the end it shows that jade actually pushed Mia infront of the car to save her brother.

I wonder if the reason why Daniel was choking when he got to touch the hand is coz he's a christian, and hell is definitely real in this movie's universe, when he said I'll let you in it was like an angel, god or something to do with his christianity fighting the spirit from posessing him initially or maybe demons just don't like christians for obvious reasons. If people are thinking about the drug reference. Think about people who describe NDE's (Near Death Experiences). They say the feel warm, at peace, loved, talking to family members, a sense of bliss they cannot explain, complete Euphoria and being free from all pain. The brothers were comparing NDE's to harder drugs. That is my opinion and I stand by they were hooked on letting the spirits take their body and kicking their spirit/soul out for a short time just to feel the ultimate high. But with all drugs or experiences one can get hooked, especially if you were to make connection to something else beyond our own life and can feel peace beyond understanding for a time. The dead get to feel again as well, that is their end of the deal. If any of this makes some sense please give me your view on it.
This movie didn't scare me nearly as much as it made me uneasy, such an uncomfortable watch. I think the last movie that got under my skin like this was Hereditary. To me these are the best kinds of horror movies, less reliant on jump scares and more dependent on the acting and situation to really make you feel uneasy.
I find that Asian horror films generally are on another level of atmospheric under the skin creepy. The only film that has ever induced a real nightmare in me is one specific scene in Kairo, a Japanese horror film. The channel Spikima Movies did a video essay on that scene called "Kairo Anatomy Of The Scariest Scene Ever".
Hereditary definitely was an uncomfortable watch. Like I will NOT rewatch that movie. I haven't even watched reactions to it! But Talk to Me is rewatchable for me.
There are a lot of subtle clues in this film that are extremely easy to miss on the first watch, like the gurgling sounds accompanying Mia's "mother" whenever she appears. The brother at the start of the film flat out stated that the spirits lose their hold on you over time. However, instead of leaving it alone, Mia used the hand more and more. The whole movie is an analogy for drug addiction and the part that grief and depression can play into someone getting addicted. The things that the kids did, including the peer pressure and trying to convince Mia to use it because it was harmless reflect a party scene that includes drugs. There's also the way that the "drug" affects people differently. Some can use it repeatedly with no apparent lingering effects, some can use it only one or two times and get addicted and some can use it just once and die. Or, in Riley's case, almost die. It's a very well written and incredibly acted movie.
not to mention the wording, I let you in. You have to be careful who you let in. the crowd you surround yourself with can and will affect you. What happened to duckett's? bro, they left him in a room, nobody checked on him till his bro broke down the door, and what everybody do take out their phones to record. No help what so ever. what the main party girl do? talk mad **** even flicked a cigarette at the curtains. Even the hospital scene, friends and family visit, ol dude was kidnapped by the main mc female who was allowed in the room and could visit so nurses didn't think anything of it and he almost killed bc of it.
No one convinced her to do it☠️ Mia told jade they should go to see if it’s real and she even volunteered for it willingly. Other than that one instance of them peer pressuring her by saying "do it" it was all her.
@@theeLonelyRedPanda why you complaining about that? Realistically the mom at the party would’ve got that door open called cops or taken him to the hospital since he had gashes on his back before his brother even arrived at the party. Realistically at the hospital the medical staff wouldn’t even let her get in the room, let alone take him off his bed put him in a wheelchair and stroll him out the building into the street. It’s just movie logic to move it foward, mia wouldn’t have died. Mia wouldn’t have taken riley and the brother wouldn’t be possessed since he wouldn’t be doing the "talk to me" "I let you in"
i dislike hereditary so much but appreciate the acting skills in the movie. i didn't get hereditary at all i thought the sister is the weird one and then the neighbor woman was the weird one, idk wtf happened to the mother and why at the end it was about possession/papanormal/exorcistsm shiid... didnt get it and didn't even got scared at all. exspect the scene where the mother is on the roof banging her head, that scared me but i found the movie "Old" even way better!!! and Talk To Me is way better than Smile!!! media and blogs were saying that ppl ran out off the theatre, vomitting, panicing, passing out and crying... that's how i kinda felt by Talk To Me not Smlie... lol But if yall didnt watch the movie "Barbarian" omg yall have to fucking watch it!!!
@@breeayeezy The sister was a normal little girl in hereditary the entire time. She was a host for Peter who needed a male body so the cult made that happen at the party they went to. You notice the cult's insignia everywhere if you go back and watch it including on a few of the people at the party(one of them making the cake with nuts in it). Hereditary doesn't really scare you, but it does cause a feeling of extreme dread which is powered by great emotional acting. There's so many things to catch and piece together in the movie besides that. There's not many horror movies that can touch it in my opinion.
My interpretation was that no one "needed" to die in the end. One of the friends said at the start of the movie if you die while possessed your spirit is stuck with them forever. It was just the evil spirit trying to convince her to kill him so they could keep his soul. Also the brother who was stabbed said that the spirits leave if you stop using the hand. But mia was unable to stop and made everything worse by continuing to convince herself to use it. It's a very accurate depiction of addiction.
i totally agree she is addicted to use the hand its like drugs that keep you to use it over and over again... its not that scary but it has a unique story which i like
The thing I find scary about this movie is how unrelentingly mean it is to its characters. It kept you on the edge of your seat because you never felt like anyone was safe ever.
At the end of the movie when “her mom” says “he’ll be ours forever” or something like that i think that’s when it clicked to Mia that that wasn’t her mom. The person who was pretending to be her mother the whole time was the first spirit that stayed latched onto her when she went over 90 secs. The drowned woman. That’s why everytime her mother was on screen you heard that bubbling water sound. & as time progressed her mom looked worse & worse. Wetter & wetter. Once i understood that & rewatched it i was like ohhhh shittttt now it all makes sense !!
There’s a part also that somebody says that spirits can imitate people. That’s when i realized it was never her mother. Always that drowned woman that stayed on her. From the beginning when that spirit possessed mia, she went straight to Riley. She literally told him “they like you” while possessed. It all makes sense when you rewatch. Great great movie
@@steph_zee There was that other spirit Mia as the drowned lady mentioned. She pointed to an empty doorway and said “there he is” as in some kind of evil spirit that the other spirits obviously know well. Then later she said he was standing right behind Riley letting you know that whoever that Predator spirit was, obviously was pretty powerful and evil and was drawn instantly to Riley.
@@522abet I took it as a reference to the devil. As with the hand obviously being a analogy to drug use, it instantly clicked to me how back in the day the devil was used as the imagery of drugs, hence the term a lot of old church folks would use as "the devils lettuce". Also explains why weed was being brought up so many times. The spirits were serving the lord of hell himself, trying to claim a innocent soul
"Is this what I'm gonna be upset watching cause I need to look out for my kids?" In a way, yes. The directors and the film itself make it clear that it's a drug analogy. Kinda like showing how things like wanting to fit in, the youthful tendency to assume invulnerability, and discovering there are alternative ways to deal with the bad feelings they are new to feeling.
Mia's mom was never there, it was the drowned woman, that's why in most scenes with Mia there's always rain. As for Riley it was the spirit that wanted him in the first place. Teens used the hand like a drug so of course some evil spirits will take advantage of her grief and Riley's innocence
At the end, Jade actually pushed Mia and Mia didn't know she's dead that's why she was going around the hospital looking for his dad and being confused until the end she finally realized she's on the other side.
That is indeed an interesting take on the situation. For argument's sake, it is also possible that the trauma of death causes momentary memory loss and confusion. Of course, if Jade did push Mia, that becomes more tragic as Mia had already decided not to push Riley into traffic because the spirit overplayed her hand one sentence too far.
I think Mia realized at the end that the spirit wasn't her mom. When the spirit said "he'll be ours forever," it clicked, and that why she let go of the wheel chair. But pretty messed up that she proably did push her, but she didn't know
@JeshuaSquirrel I agree. And if Jade pushed her that ruins it for me. Pretty much established no one really cares about Mia. I like the idea of Jade not pushing her, but actually trying to stop her from jumping, and Mia getting loose and jumping.
I wanna know how Mia snuck into the hospital with a weapon AND kidnapped someone just by rolling them out with a wheelchair and not a single staff member or security guard stopped her from leaving. She’s not even his blood😅. Made it look hella easy.
Yeah he didn’t even look like he was in shape for some fresh air 😭😭 with how bad his face was i wouldve been like “take him back to bed rn 🤨” if i was a nurse there
There's an unwavering bleakness at the heart of this film -- one of the most sobering depictions of life-draining depressions I've ever seen. Mia's utter desperation to have her Mom back, to understand what she endured and try to make sense of it; well, not everyone makes it out alive. The trauma of her mother's death was just too much. Those movies showing young people surviving trauma, then thriving, are exceptions. Mia got broken and stayed broken, the "drug" of the hand only made it much, much worse (feeding her lies, preying on her vulnerabilities). p.s. The ceramic hand reminds me of how casual sex was used in "It Follows" p.s.s. That suicide note is one of the most devastating messages I've ever heard. Victims of suicidal depression can sometimes sound completely resigned, hence the heartbreaking inversion of "hope."
Thank you for reacting! It’s so amazing to see an Australian film do so well 🇦🇺 Also a theory that I’ve seen is that Mia finally realised what she was doing when the spirit whispered “we’ll have him forever”. Because you see her take her hands off the wheel chair. There’s also people that theorise Mia was pushed while the sister was trying to save Riley
Mia was pushed by Jade trying to save Riley. I heard someone said if you watch it if the scene in slow motions, so I try watching the scene with 0.5 speed. Yup, Jade was the one pushing Mia.
Yea that is what I thought. The last sentence she heard from the spirit she realized it or yea she could have been pushed although I am not sure if she was close enough or not.
What really scared me about this movie was the realization that they were showing that after death you're left in a black void forever, with no concept of time or connection with others. Until someone just so happens to reach out to you with the hand. And maybe after youve been in that void long enough you go insane and want to steal someoen elses body (get them killed while they are possessed and be human again)
No way should they ever had let Riley get anywhere near that hand. Not just because of his young age but because of what Mia said as she was taken over by the drowned woman. The spirits were attracted to Riley prob because of his young age and pure soul and innocence. The directors said at that moment Mia was saying they liked Riley there was a whole room full of “Predator” spirits and were all drawn to him with the most evil one of them getting a hold of him when he did it.
Been watching Racka Racka for YEARS, being one of the first channels I actually subbed to and watched regularly. So knowing that they came up with this extremely well made, well written, well directed, well acted horror film is awesome. Danny and Michael are legends and TH-cam OG's! Everyone did such a good job and it's the first horror film I watched in probably 10 years that I actually enjoyed.
They had lots of practice on their TH-cam channel. I just like the brothers stuck to their vision when studios offered to buy the movie to make it but wanted them to move it out of Australia. So, with an immense amount of courage, they said no. Privately funded the film, then showed it as festivals so A24 could see it and buy it for distribution.
"I'm so happy..." **Terrible thing happens** "Well, i was gonna say I'm happy..." **Even worse thing happens** Bruh, stop with the happiness, it ain't that kind of movie.😂
I just wanted to say that you guys are probably my Fav reaction channel because it feels like im watching a movie with friends and it doesn't come off as you putting on this over the top show for the cameras and when you say its a "first time watch" I actually believe you guys unlike other known to semi-known channels. Keep up the great channel.
I liked Daniel but to be honest everyone felt real to me so I felt for everyone in a certain way. 33 year old me watching Teens suffer just makes me sad 😅
I think Riley's sister pushed her into the traffic to save her brother. There wasn't any indication that Mia wanted to do anything for anyone other than herself.
Nikki I thought of you when I saw this in theatres. The minute the dog was on the screen, the lady sitting next to me whispered "if that dog dies we are leaving" and I totally loved that this movie broke that trope. Love this film.
Mia's jump is left open-ended, BUT the most likely take was that she was too far gone, and when she heard her "mother" say "I'll take care of him, we'll keep him forever", she chose to jump heraelf to be the one that would be with her mom forever. Remember she thought she'd killed her dad at this point. An eternity with her mom was the best she could hope for, but it was a lie. This wasn't just a drug parallel, but also a metaphor for that need for connection and how sometimes drugs are a way for people who feel disconnected or depressed to feel validated as part of the group. She was basically an addict, looking for connection in a drug, but a drug doesn't care for you.
Am I the only one who thinks it’s kind of unfair how Mia gets ALL of the blame for what happened to Riley? Yes, she encouraged him to do it, and she let it go on too long because her mom was in him but how hard would it be to not want to have another minute with you or dead mom? She’s by now means innocent, but I also think Jade should take some of the blame. She’s the one who had the party, brought the hand to their home, and was not taking care of her little brother the way she should have been. She ran after Daniel instead of ensuring he isn’t allowed to take the hand. She was also neglectful of him from the jump, when she didn’t pick him up earlier in the movie. If that were my little brother, I would have made damned sure nobody let him do it. As for what happens after that, Mia’s actions are pretty insane, by she’s also being manipulated/possessed by a malicious spirit. All the reactions I’ve watched are really hard on Mia ONLY.
Oh yes she is. Split second but she pushes Mia. Makes so much more sense seeing as she was the only one that doesn’t have experience with the “drug” and is able to push the drug, the spirit, out of their lives.
This was such an amazing movie and the more you watch the more you see!. If Mia had held out for another day or so she would have also been free. You can see throughout the movie that her mothers image deteriorates and at the end when she’s whispering in Mia’s ear to kill Riley you can see she’s wet and kinda looks like the original entity that entered Mia (the waterlogged lady). This was showing exactly what the guys brother who was stabbed was talking about.. the longer they are in you the less hold they have on you. The spirits hold and vision of her mom was lessening and she could have been free.. she would have ended up in jail anyway and hurt because of her dad but she would have been alive. I know all she wanted was to feel close to someone because she was missing connection in the real world, but still.. this just goes to show you grief is different for everyone and shows in different ways and can really do damage. Love you guys and thanks for your great reactions!! ❤
If there’s one thing I hate about horror movies, it’s jump scares. These are the types of movies that are the reason I love horror. The kind of horror that works off of tension and uneasiness, not a quick scare. Loved this movie.
I _really_ wanted Mia to have a last minute sacrifice, and be the hero at the end too. But after seeing it a few times now, i think she was 100% pushed by Jade. The most heroic thing she managed to do was hesitate when it came time to kill Riley. It's a _genuinely_ brutal horror movie, and i _LOVE_ it!
Mia in the first time she went over 90 seconds.. if football (soccer) we call them injure time or extra time and the last minute she conceded a goal and that spirit stay with her and acted like her mother
For a Simple movie that doesn't use all this CGI effects and stuff this felt like a movie right out of the 80s or 90s but filmed with a 2000s camera. I thought it was simple scary as fahq, a psychological thriller. I thought this movie almost had it all. I don't know what it's really missing except some psycho with a chainsaw or knives for fingers. Keep up the great reactions guys! Semper Fi, Slava Ukraini, and Peace! ❤🤍💙💛
I love that everyone makes stupid decisions, but unlike most horror movies, you UNDERSTAND why they made them. People make stupid decisions all the time even in real life, but if you can follow the train of thought, that’s something special
No one magically healed in the end. What happens is that the concept of death here draws heavily from religions such as spiritualism and other African American religions. The way purgatory is portrayed in this film refers to these religions, in which it is a very dark and desolate place, where low-frequency spirits stay - angry spirits, very attached to matter, spirits of people who have had unexpected/sudden deaths or who took their own lives. Talk To Me shows little about this place, but it very well explores the concepts said by experts on the subject - how the connection between the planes works (earthly and astral), and the candle is very important in this sense, as it is the guide/ the light that attracts greasy souls. And that we should not trust these spirits, because they will try to trick us and deceive us. When Mia died at the end, time began to pass differently for her. Riley recovered, just like Mia's father, and she got lost in the dark [2]
I'm so glad you liked this! I went to theaters to see it. Went in blind with no idea what it was about, which I think is the best way to experience a movie like this. It was so amazing and original. Very impressive especially for a first film. There is already a prequel (I believe- could be a sequel) that has been greenlit. I personally hope it's a prequel so we can get the backstory of the hand.
If anyone was curious, the song playing during the party scene at Jade and Riley's house and Mia begins to sing is called "Le Monde" by Richard Carter. It's a remix of the original song "La Foule" by Edith Piaf.
This was actually a good movie. Even if it was bad I still would have like it though. Horror is pretty much the only genre that I can enjoy even if it is bad.
Brilliant approach for a horror movie: get a supernatural relic with a connection to the other side, throw it into a room of thrill-seeking, angst-driven teenagers and let them do the rest. 😱 Loved your reaction! This was my first time watching it too. P.S. - I'd love to see you guys react to "As Above, So Below" if you can.👍Maybe it'll slap. P.P.S. - In regards to the falling funko-pop, Nikki, good luck! Cause we all saw that.
So glad this movie turned out to be good in my opinion. I had been looking forward to it for a while. That poor kid though. 😔 I also feel bad for Mia too.
Ive heard many people compare the experience to people experimenting with drugs. The euphoria, confidence and peer pressure, even when it is KNOWN that it can kill you.
The only characters I cared about was the mom and her kids. I wish the rest of those panks paid the price and not just Mia. And if anyone is wondering, the guys in the end were Greeks but judging from their clothes they were definitely in the past. I bet the next movie is going to be set in the 80s or something.
John you're wrong on this one, The spirits were going to leave Nia and The kid eventually, her jumping into traffic had nothing to do with his recovery, the demon basically just lied to her telling her that the demons would never stop which forced her hand to do something stupid.
In addition to trying to figure out if Mia finally realized she was being tricked and decided to jump, you could also consider that Jade actually pushed her to save Riley. That part was definitely unclear. Honestly, the movie is a lot. My favorite characters were poor, sweet Riley and the mom (because she is totally me, lol.).

Mia wouldn’t have taken riley and the brother wouldn’t be possessed since he wouldn’t be doing the "talk to me" "I let you in"
i dislike hereditary so much but appreciate the acting skills in the movie. i didn't get hereditary at all i thought the sister is the weird one and then the neighbor woman was the weird one, idk wtf happened to the mother and why at the end it was about possession/papanormal/exorcistsm shiid... didnt get it and didn't even got scared at all. exspect the scene where the mother is on the roof banging her head, that scared me but i found the movie "Old" even way better!!!
and Talk To Me is way better than Smile!!! media and blogs were saying that ppl ran out off the theatre, vomitting, panicing, passing out and crying... that's how i kinda felt by Talk To Me not Smlie... lol
But if yall didnt watch the movie "Barbarian" omg yall have to fucking watch it!!!
It's a very accurate depiction of addiction.
i totally agree she is addicted to use the hand its like drugs that keep you to use it over and over again... its not that scary but it has a unique story which i like
Steven: I’m so happy-
*stab*
Steven: anyways, I’m so hap-

best part
Kinda like showing how things like wanting to fit in, the youthful tendency to assume invulnerability, and discovering there are alternative ways to deal with the bad feelings they are new to feeling.
the hell scene where they show riley with the demons is one of the most disturbing scene i ever watched on a horror film
it was so good
great reaction
They had a longer version of that scene and they had to cut it out bc of how gruesome and horrifying it was. Hope they release it sometime
Reminds me of Mother
And that actor was so young too he's did very good job on every scene. The way i feel so sad, terrible and worries about him it got me on my anxiety
It looked like Society
Mia's mom was never there, it was the drowned woman, that's why in most scenes with Mia there's always rain. As for Riley it was the spirit that wanted him in the first place. Teens used the hand like a drug so of course some evil spirits will take advantage of her grief and Riley's innocence
It's impressive that 2 TH-camrs made this movie, their first movie! And the actor playing Mia was amazing too
thats not their first movie tho...? lol
But pretty messed up that she proably did push her, but she didn't know
@@JeshuaSquirrel If you slow it down you can see Jade push Mia.
@JeshuaSquirrel I agree. And if Jade pushed her that ruins it for me. Pretty much established no one really cares about Mia. I like the idea of Jade not pushing her, but actually trying to stop her from jumping, and Mia getting loose and jumping.
Whether Jade pushed Mia or not, she is protecting her brother, Riley.
"I'm so happy... 😶 I was gonna say, I'm so happy... 😮"
Hahahahahhahaha
I wanna know how Mia snuck into the hospital with a weapon AND kidnapped someone just by rolling them out with a wheelchair and not a single staff member or security guard stopped her from leaving. She’s not even his blood😅. Made it look hella easy.
Yeah he didn’t even look like he was in shape for some fresh air 😭😭 with how bad his face was i wouldve been like “take him back to bed rn 🤨” if i was a nurse there
She was screaming while holding a scissor trying to stab a patient with the door wide open and no one saw or even heard it, why you're asking that?
There's an unwavering bleakness at the heart of this film -- one of the most sobering depictions of life-draining depressions I've ever seen.
Mia's utter desperation to have her Mom back, to understand what she endured and try to make sense of it; well, not everyone makes it out alive. The trauma of her mother's death was just too much. Those movies showing young people surviving trauma, then thriving, are exceptions.
Mia got broken and stayed broken, the "drug" of the hand only made it much, much worse (feeding her lies, preying on her vulnerabilities).
p.s. The ceramic hand reminds me of how casual sex was used in "It Follows"
p.s.s. That suicide note is one of the most devastating messages I've ever heard. Victims of suicidal depression can sometimes sound completely resigned, hence the heartbreaking inversion of "hope."
Thank you for reacting! It’s so amazing to see an Australian film do so well 🇦🇺
Also a theory that I’ve seen is that Mia finally realised what she was doing when the spirit whispered “we’ll have him forever”. Because you see her take her hands off the wheel chair. There’s also people that theorise Mia was pushed while the sister was trying to save Riley
Makes sense because she was acting like she didn't know she was dead.
If you slow down the scene when you are in the van that gets in the accident you can see jade pushes Mia
Also they were on a hill letting go of Riley meant he was going into traffic.
"I'm so happy..." 😮
"What I was going to say was, I'm happy..." 😮
No happy times in this movie 😂
LOL
The drowning lady she let in is the one that took the form of the mother. That’s why the mother becomes more bloated as she saw her.
This movie should have been called, "Fuck around with a demon hand and find out, dumb ass kids" LOL
Amazingly well done!! Almost unreal that this is their first film!!
"I'm so happy..."
**Terrible thing happens**
"Well, i was gonna say I'm happy..."
**Even worse thing happens**
Bruh, stop with the happiness, it ain't that kind of movie.😂
I just wanted to say that you guys are probably my Fav reaction channel because it feels like im watching a movie with friends and it doesn't come off as you putting on this over the top show for the cameras and when you say its a "first time watch" I actually believe you guys unlike other known to semi-known channels. Keep up the great channel.
same tbh i'm in my late twenties and i refer to Steven & Nikki as "TH-cam mom and dad". It's such a homey channel.
I felt zero sympathy for everyone except for the main character’s dad, friend’s mother and the little brother.
Same! Thought I was the only 1.
I liked Daniel but to be honest everyone felt real to me so I felt for everyone in a certain way. 33 year old me watching Teens suffer just makes me sad 😅
The little brother had it coming too. Only the adults didn't deserve it.
@@bendover7841 how? He was like an 11 y.o, the older teens should have known better
@@bendover7841… bitter bitch boomer huh?
I think Riley's sister pushed her into the traffic to save her brother. There wasn't any indication that Mia wanted to do anything for anyone other than herself.
Y’all should watch the movie UR NEXT. When u get a chance, I’m dying to see y’all reactions
Nikki I thought of you when I saw this in theatres. The minute the dog was on the screen, the lady sitting next to me whispered "if that dog dies we are leaving" and I totally loved that this movie broke that trope. Love this film.
I think that wasn't her mom, it's like the nun in the Conjuring movie that actually a creepy horned demon called Valak

“Im so happy…” *🔪*

“I was gonna say, I’m so ha…” *🔪x2*

Nikki being a Schitt’s Creek fan just makes sense to me. Bad ass shirt. ❤
They're already working on the sequel "Talk 2 Me". I cannot wait!
I wish they didn't. Sequels so often don't live up to the original and ruin the cult classic status.
And apparently a prequel as well.
Mia was pushed by Jade trying to save Riley. You can watch it on 0.25x or 0.5x speed.
And it was just as Mia realized that she was being manipulated and took her hands off of the wheelchair 😢
I have never seen Nikki so quiet during a movie! :) The movie was captivating!
we all need Constantine in our favorite horror movies as spin off.
2:05 "i am so happy..." a guy stabs his brother
2:13 "i was gonna say: I AM SO HAPPY..." he stabs himself
hahahha Steven
I don't completely blame Mia either; she isn't innocent but she really suffers for her part in it. All the kids bore responsibility for what happened.
Love this movie, love y'all. Thanks for making my evening :)
If you slow it down, you can see Jade push her.
Hmmm I will have to try that, I did not think she was near close enough.
Fun fact the directors are brothers from Australia who are TH-camrs and have created their own short films. Their channel name is RakaRaka.
Possession as a parallel to drug addiction to cope with trauma and grief. I didn’t think it would work, but it sure did.
Definitely one of the best horror films of the Year. I couldn't be more happy for the guys who directed it.
Mia in the first time she went over 90 seconds.. if football (soccer) we call them injure time or extra time and the last minute she conceded a goal and that spirit stay with her and acted like her mother
Mia was attached to the hand for a bit to long the first time she tried it....that is where I think the problems started.
My new measure for horror movies is if I can hear Nikki in the back of my head while I'm watching it, it's a good one. She was loud this time.
The funko pop falling on its face.. like Riley slamming his face on the table 😰😱
😱😱😱😱
As an Aussie, I am so proud of this movie
Steven really tried to get that thought out haha
movie kept interrupting my thoughts, ha!!
Can't wait to see your reaction! Thank you so much for such great content. Sending ❤️ from Australia 🇦🇺
it is highly recommended because the directors have youtuber origins making viral videos.
This movie and Hereditary from A23, have the same type of supernatural horror.
Can you watch the movie ''no one will save you'' really good horror flick thanks
That scene where Riley gets possessed and it goes downhill...>.O WTF!!!
I'm so happ-- STAB!
I was _gonna_ say, I'm so happ-- STAB!

This was actually a good movie. Even if it was bad I still would have like it though. Horror is pretty much the only genre that I can enjoy even if it is bad.
Before I even watch the reaction, I am going to guess Nikki tore up Steven's arm on this one. lol
I see the Schitts Creek shirt Nikki! You guys should react to that series! There’s hardly anybody that has reacted and it’s such a great show!
Many people might not have got this
In that feet suc*ing scene , Mia was in passenger seat
This is been the best horror film since hereditary
YES! I was hoping you'd watch it!
"Im so hap!" ..(SWISH!)..😨 "Im so hap" ..(THWUMP) ...😳 😂
That movie was crazy
Apparently there is a sequel in the works, titled Talk 2 Me
Brilliant approach for a horror movie: get a supernatural relic with a connection to the other side, throw it into a room of thrill-seeking, angst-driven teenagers and let them do the rest. 😱
Loved your reaction!
😔 I also feel bad for Mia too.
if you watch it slowed down, jade pushed mia to get her away from riley.
This is going on Slapped Ham with the Funko Pop falling!
