The drain work you do in California - existing piping when you get there? Yikes! I only thought - looks like something in Mexico maybe? I credit you for being very through diagnosing things. Jobs like that - I’m glad I’m retired. Kudos.
Great Work! I don't like clean-outs that don't really clear the siding - stucco. prone to leaks. Just my pet-peeve. Thanks for a great video. Hey; R U from Boston like Steve L "why wear gloves?!"
Another great video. Everyday plumbing problems with solutions. Hey I just saw some crappy comments from some guy back east about the parts you use. I’m assuming he’s from back east because of the Menards reference. Screw that guy, you use what you use and if the homeowner wants to supply the faucets etc. how do you tell them no? Keep up the good work! You’re the west coast Steve Lav!
I got an acute viral infection from the black muck once. It knocked me down for 10 days. I wear gloves now, even for supply repairs. Have you entertained the thought of purchasing a water jet?
The bulb head for the 1/4 snake doesn't really clear out kitchen sludge and grease well, the small hole they punch just gets closed up with more grease. Put a little bend on the end of the snake and it'll scrape a bigger hole for a better clean
i dont rely on cables to clear grease, i always tell customers after i snake a drain that if they want the problem resolved then they need to hydrojet it.
3/8 for sure. I only use 1/4 on lavs, tubs, drinking fountains, condensate drains. Good job😊

I’m jealous of the Cali weather. It’s been 90+ in the Northeast

hehe the Steve Lav reference.
Steve Lavimoniere is awesome!
Any one better than the other? Ugly gloves (knobby) or leather gloves like Ridgid supplies with drain cleaners.
the yellow ugly gloves seem to be the best. the ones i use tend to slip, i dont really like them.
