Just get a m18 Milwaukee vacuum I never had a mold issue with it and been using it for years for toilets
This old rusted flange was a challenge, but you beat it. Nice job dude! Those Milwaukee cobalt bits rock too!
GREAT INSTALL OF THAT TOTO DRAKE TOILET SEE YOU NEXT TIME
just like a "PRO", thxs for sharing...
Pump toilet water right on the kids toya
@@armandomadrigal9793 it was clean water 🚱 💧
oh heck yea thats the flange I thought of the holes you drlled along with 3 inch screws right down into the 2x4 block rock solid , I thought about tapping holes in the existing flange kinda crazy thought maybe ? 7/16 for 1/4 inch bolts 1/2 for 5/16 bolts like tank to bowl bolts and 3/8 bolts are 9/16 all the time not just shitters but hey im old and i remeber the unimportant stuff LOL Do you flate rate the install including the new flange if needed ? Ill charge around 170 if they already have a new toilet probebly 200 if I need a new flange . 50 bucks to pick up a new one that they purchased . kinda curious if my prices are close Im out in san bernardino area more like redlands and Yukaipa area.
@jeffreyplumber1975 i give em a price up front and if something else needs to be done i give em another flat rate
Great content, the first channel i go to when new content !
i have never tried a toto toilet but my toilet was cloging so we replaced with a kool toilet by kohler 😂.. kohler gleem and its been great so far. no issues. we have two of them one plumber installed the toilet in 30 min with new flange. a different possibly drunk plumber spent 4 hours trying to install the toilet before I kicked him out. 😊
its one of those spanner repair pieces its curved like the flange but its not a ring just around 2 1/2 inches long
can you link me on what it is?
I don’t care if they’re only tenants. I hear Mex-speak - walk out. You & fucking apt. units?
I like the unbiased tool reviews....nice job!
"DUDE"
Shane your channel is my favorite plumbing channel on youtube! Thanks for posting a new video!
Those toilets would clog with air . Absolute garbage. Great video though.
thxs for sharing...
Nice repair…enjoyed the video
Another cool day in Realville plumbing video. I’ve never seen Western brand toilets here in South Carolina, probably because it’s the East LOL
being a pro is never easy, thxs for sharing...getting cold in, "Freeattle"
Honestly if you’re looking for a cheap toilet I would just buy the project source proflush it’s $99 and it’s honestly better than most toilets that cost more and it’s 100% better than the glacier bays.
LMFAO at your reactions to the shark bites
Good vid as always thx for taking us along
From one plumber to another keep up the good work I enjoy your posts 👍
You took out of piece of shit toilet & replaced it w/another piece of shit toilet. You call that progress? Some of the stuff you do boggles my mind. Sad.
@davidbrinkmeyer5850 I've commented to you over 20 times at least that these are rentals and owners want cheapest possible. If you were plumbing in LA every 1000 dollar rental would have 700 dollar toto skirted toilets in ever bachelor apartment
😂😂😂😂
Yeah most of these plumbers or guys critiquing must do work only in multi million dollar houses where price is not a problem.
You prefer lexel over silicone?
@@TC-tw5zk sometimes ya
Nice Yea id say replacing was a no brainer. changing the rough in not worth it, also You mention 2 or 3 times the shark bites you that scared of them ? I dont use them other than we used to them for tem in new construction , like when testing use a sharbite cap if using a lav stub out for temp hose bibs but they are legal anywhere inside walls underhouses etc. kinda shit work but look at the dump who cares its relatively secure they use pex under rat infested homes thats worse
Never seen a Western toilet in TX, never liked basic round toilets, alway bashing ones massive junk on front edge, JUST KIDDING!
It's kinda funny. I just ran into the same thing. The toilet was 15" off the back wall. Did you go back with a 12 or go up to a 14"? Thanks for another great video.
@@spd711 12, the place ain't exactly the ritz
@@pershingplumbing9007LOL! I got to say your superb humor makes this channel even better than it already is. All the best dude.
Mystery toilet with press in fittings?? Happy Monday! Thanks for posting!
Gave em the ole handyman special. LOL
I have a piece of advice about comments. I saw that you have videos with comments turned off. In vain. The more comments, no matter good or bad, you need to give your answers to them and the more people will return to your videos and the views will grow. So my advice is to always have comments on all videos and answer every comment if you want your views to go up.
Looks like the tank could use more water ? 1/2 " below overflow tube. Not enough water for a good flush ? Nice easy call.
Yeah thanks for sharing the not so glamorous jobs . Awesome video as always
Nice...glad I don't have smellavision.
As you know elongated bowls are “lazy” flushers. 1.5 gal tanks only make it worse. I used to have three closet augers on my truck. One std. head 3’ auger. One 3’ drop head auger & one std. head extension cable auger. I needed to try all three sometimes on bitch clogs. Other thing I learned was to almost always bring a 5 gallon bucket in with me. Like an empty drywall joint compound bucket. Cable the snot outta the toilet bowl, fill the bucket in the bathtub or shower - flush the toilet & IMMEDIATELY empty that bucket full of water into the bowl! Several times! Again: glad I’m retired . . .
You showed nothing of importance
i did another video on this that was uploaded the other day! go check it out!
The good, the bad and the ugly. (just kidding) You really provide thorough, diligent service for your customers. All the best dude!
easy money! After the last 20 years working new constructioin, going through a medical issue and retiring decided to go back to doing some service work here and there , somewhere along the line lost my closet auger 4 years ago had to buy a new one in a pinch I bought what they had at lowes a brass craft works pretty good always had general cable before that. because of my low volume ive been pretty tight budget on tools
Those accordion pipes are trouble! I still can't believe that HD still sells them even though they are code violation! Awesome job Shane! Thats for sharing!
Went well with my sausage links this morning, now I have a hankering for a caramel infused coffee, at least you didn't have to chop down a hard log to get it to pass the toilets entrance like at my local hospital with pts on certain meds, Living The Dream!
GOOD JOB SEE YOU NEXT TIME
So much for my breakfast this morning 😢
When they hear the price of a brand new electronic faucet they normally tell me yeah the manual ones good enough😅
Well done. Like always. No leaky leaks 😊
thxs for sharing...
You shouldn’t need tape it has t had it o before so stop wasting time mumbling away it needs a fibre washer into nut between strainer and nut ohh try plugging in the sensor and see what happens your going to flood the place again
Bars on the video is light banding. The led light actually flickers really quick and your camera is catching that. Slowing down the shutter speed apparently helps
They quoted you the whole faucet, Amazon has control module for $90+
good to know never changed one of these thanks
It’s $80.67 for control module at Home Depot. I think he quoted you for the whole unit (faucet)
thank you
I couldn’t see any kind of o-ring or a washer in that connector? Is it possible that its toast?
yes
Chinese junk. One of MANY REASONS I’m glad I’m retired.
