Haha, any tips for Tartu? I plan on going to Estonia, Latvia and Finland, so I need a lot of tips. I plan on going alone. I am also a girl, so tell me if there is any danger I should look out for. I think I will stay in Tallinn for 3 days and then get to Tartu by train.
hello.. Tartu is agreat city. lot's of students and young people living here and very safe. so you should not expierence any danger traveling solo as a female. you should definitly visit the National museaum of Tartu, the neighbourhood Karlova (hip, creative, street arts and nice bars) the upside down house and take a stroll along the river Emajogi. final tip is to visit the old fabrique aparaaditehas where you can now find shops and markets and events. also pay a visit to Tassikoogid to taste the best cakes in town.
A fascinating city - great footage Europe's Travel Tips.
