This is the best video I have seen of Tallin so far! I was undecided if to visit Tallin or Budapest, but after watching this, I think I am going to choose Tallin
Thank you very much! Budapest certainly does have a lot going for it, as it's bigger and there's more to do (I have a Budapest video also). But you'll be very happy here in Tallinn - even though it's probably smaller with less to do, it's a lot more charming and certainly easier to navigate around, and do simple things like eat or go to the beach etc. Enjoy Tallinn!
If there is one thing you missed, its the world's oldest still-in-business pharmacy called "Rae Aapteek". It has a free museum section aswell as the cashier wearing old timey clothing.
Thanks very much, I'm happy you enjoyed this video. If you've found it helpful, be sure to share it on your social media. But in the meantime, enjoy your trip to Tallinn! 🙂
@mochaiistudios3406 fantastic, I hope you had a great time in Tallin and enjoyed their Christmas markets! Hopefully you found this guide helpful in navigating your way around this amazing city. 🙂
Absolutely love your videos! Very engaging and well edited and full of useful information. I particular like that you put the name of the attraction and the price and have concise info at the end of how to get there, getting around etc. Absolutely great and I've hit the bell button so I'm notified when you upload.
Thank you very much, I appreciate you saying so! Yes I try and be as helpful as I can by taking all the guesswork out of how much things cost, how to get around, going to and from the airport etc. I think that's probably the most stressful thing about travelling - i.e. not knowing what to expect or where you're going, so my videos try and eliminate all that. Thanks for subscribing, and be sure to share these videos if you've found them to be helpful 🙂
Great video. I' m spending 5 days here next May arriving by ferry. This video is going to be so helpful. Thanks for the advice re wearing something reflective at night.😊
Thanks very much, I appreciate your kind comments on my videos.🙂 I just wish I has a lot more views and subscribers to show for my efforts. I hope you find my videos useful in planning your own bucket list adventures! 😉
You truly have the best travel videos. We just got back from Tallinn and Riga two days ago. We found your guide to these two cities amazingly useful. We watched them both several time before leaving. They are informative, easy to understand and to the point. Great job! Please keep them coming.
Wow, thank you so much! I'm sure you loved Tallinn just as much as I did. It makes me happy to know that people watch and find these guides helpful in planning their own trips. Please help me out by sharing this video on your socials where you can.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the "Tallinn Travel Guide - Complete Tour" video! It provided a comprehensive and visually captivating tour of Estonia's beautiful capital city. From the stunning medieval Old Town to the modern and vibrant districts, it showcased the diverse and rich cultural heritage of Tallinn. The historical insights and practical travel tips were particularly helpful for anyone planning to visit this charming city. Overall, a fantastic guide to exploring Tallinn, and it has certainly piqued my interest in visiting Estonia's capital someday! 🇪🇪🏰🌆 #TallinnTravel #Estonia #CityGuide

Yeah it was actually a surprisingly cool bar to go to. Definitely didn't expect to find that in Tallinn. Whilst we're talking about DM - I still think that "Enjoy the Silence" is one of the absolute masterpieces in modern music. Thanks again!
Heading for a long weekend in September and was looking up things to do - really great video full of interesting and relevant content! Also appreciate that you dived straight into the content and didn't make it all about you like a lot of TH-cam channels do! Was there any restaurants in particular you recommend?
Thank you very much for saying so. And yes, travel guides on TH-cam are either people making the video about themselves, or AI generated robo-rubbish that you could read from Wikipedia - so I appreciate your kind comments. In terms of restaurants, the one in the video (Olde Hansa) will give you authentic medieval style recipes in medieval surroundings - and that's a pretty authentic experience! Peppersack also comes recommended, but to be honest, most eateries in the old town are excellent. Hope that helps?
@@UltimateBucketList Shaohui and I did enjoy. Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius. This corner of the world offers so much more than meets the eye. Now, Gdansk. OMG. Our tour ends in Warsaw. Always a pleasure to be informed by your videos!!!
Tallinn was the highlight of Scandinavia for us too (although I don't think it is actually counted as part of Scandinavia) - we've pretty much followed in your footsteps and been to Copenhagen, Oslo (and then up to Lapland), Bergen, Stockholm, Tallinn and currently in Helsinki. Tallinn is the only place we want to go back to and spend more time in. We loved the arts district/creative city with DEPOO and Balti Jaama Turg as well.
The tower is actually Kiek in de kök. The umlaut makes a huge difference in how you pronounce it. It supposed to mean look in the kitchen in low German, if i remember correctly.
There isn't a tunnel currently - I believe that would be the ferry! You ride the bus from Tallinn Bus Station (as shown in the video) to Tallinn Ferry port - it drives onto the boat, it sails for just over two hours to Helsinki and then on the other side, it takes you to Helsinki Bus Station. Hope that helps?
Tallinn uses the Euro, and that's the best one to use. Most places accept credit card, so you don't really have to bring actual currency if you don't have any.
Hey Ninh, maybe you can do your top 10 (or another number) places you've visited, or travel memories, or favorite attractions for the upcoming 100K subs. Would be cool to see a travel list from you, since you have traveled so much. Cheers!
Enjoyed your video. We lived in Tallinn for a couple years. Actually IMHO the better and more convenient way to get to downtown from the airport would be the no. 4 tram; it passes by the bus station too. All public transport use the same travel card anyway. On another point, Estonia is also on the mainland of Europe; it's part of EU and use € too. This is the problem with the rest of the world when only western Europe is considered "Europe proper". UK and Republic of Ireland for example, are not on the mainland of Europe.
One place you didn't mention but I would recommend is the Seaplane Harbor maritime museum with submarines and ships. Also the chocolate brand is called Kalev, not Kaleo.
There's also a Depeche Mode bar in Riga, St Petersburg, and I swear there was also one in Bratislava but I may be remembering incorrectly. I reckon there's one die hard Depeche Mode fan somewhere on the continent, or maybe it's DM themselves? 😂😂
Oh really? I didn't see one in Riga or Bratislava, but I wouldn't be surprised if they exist in these two places. I think it's probably hardcore fans that open bars and dedicate them to Depeche Mode, rather than the band themselves! 😆
Sadly, Inflation is crazy everywhere these days. People's wages haven't risen, but the cost of everything has. I can't think of a country where this isn't the case?
If you're bored and you like animals, then yes Tallinn Zoo is worth the visit. That said, if you've been to one of the major zoos in the world (London, New York), this one might seem fairly tame by comparison.
