@ No I’m not upset with that, I think Ragnar’s spot is deserved. It’s just sad to think that the series has kind of left him behind. He was one of my favorite characters and I feel a little bit guilty about forgetting him.
Ah gotcha, yeah it definitely feels like Ragnar has kinda faded. Though I love the little details of stuff like the ice cream named after his "vast hunger" at that one diner on Phobos
Agreed it's wild how much he does in 2 books (technically 1.5) but re-reading the series rn and there's things he does that kind of slipped my mind like him killing the group of Bellona bladedancers and killing an.olympic knight (almost 2). Dude was an animal, imagine if they never run into Aja when they did and he gets more time to be trained with a razor

absolutely love the videos, bro. i found your channel at the beginning of the year, after i finished re-reading the original trilogy. i watched your other videos and totally fell for your the channel/projects/videos, in general. kinda surprised no one else is doing something like this but was awesome to see it nonetheless! i wasn't sure because it had been so long since an upload, but as soon as I saw this video was uploaded, you can bet i subscribed. the formats of your videos are amazing, the way you list and present the information is great. i didn't expect the beginning of this list tbh; but i'm currently re-reading Dark Age, before reading Lightbringer for the first time, so my mind was geared more towards the characters post-10 year skip. anyways, after hearing all your reasonings for everyone's respective placements, i fully agree with everything you had to say, you make solid points. and jeez, especially when you start thinking about some of those characters skill in further books. but more than willing to wait for future content whenever you can and whenever the final books are released!

Great breakdown! Hard to argue with your top 5 even if the positioning could be switched around here and there. One very miniscule, nitpicking, correction I had comes at 9:46...because I am a Darrow fanboy and will defend my guy to the end. Only Victra could not budge the weight off the floor during the lift contest, who was the strongest Howler next to Rags according to Darrow (excluding himself obviously). Darrow did more than budge all the weight Ragnar lifted. He said he lifted it to his knees, which is the equivalent of a deadlift. The fact that Darrow could lift ALL the weight in the gym to his knees, after only just recovering from 9 months of torture, is an incredible feat. Darrow in his typical shape was one of, if not the, strongest Gold in the trilogy.

Interesting list, and good catch with Bellerephon, dude was literally beating Cassius in a duel setting before Cassius got lucky with the timing of his Aegis shorting out. Just out of curiosity why no Diomedes on the top 5? When Lysander and Cassius see him fight Lysander actually expresses that Diomedes appears to be a superior fighter to Cassius

Definitely a matter for debate after seeing how BoS does in Red God, I think right before developing BoS Darrow wouldn't have been higher. Cassius was the series peak of classical swordsmanship by Light Bringer in my opinion. It's just my opinion that BoS takes him past Cassius

Darrow has the makings to be the greatest Razor master if he develops his own style based on his sling blade and passes it on to his son pax. Because greatness is measured by influence not just power.
