hi there, sorry for the late reply TH-cam just dumped 2months of comments in here today for some reason, re distance, sorry I thought I menioned it in the vid, Lower Portals loop is 7.4km return, upper portals is 8.9km, pro tip if you ever looking for disancces and cant find them on parks.des look it up on alltrails. www.alltrails.com/trail/australia/queensland/upper-portals-track
Excited to go check MT Barney and the Portals out today. Couldn’t decide what to do today so used your vids to find a place I haven’t been too that isn’t too far away for a day trip from Bris. These videos are so helpful! And I love how you say whether the location is busy or family oriented so I know where to avoid on the weekends haha

Looks great nice place to just get away from the crowds and listern to nature thx mat enjoy you things the ear time is that just a small pin threw I have piercings but have stretched over the years to quite big ones with pirate style earrings
Upper portals is definitely on my bucket list got to get a 4wd first though dad's banned me from taking the swift on dirt track hahaha. Did you end up going to upper portals?
No not that day. Been rushed with shooting everything the last month since I finished work . This la nina and overcast every damn day is killing me! Lol.

Went there today, was great! Waterfall was flowing. Great swimming hole, saw an eel in the water!
