This sounds like a memorial version of the song. I'm picturing it being played on the anniversary as a reminder of the great Eva pilots and all the people who put their lives on the line for Tokyo-3.

I agree, while I love S2P's choice of art for the videos, it's very exciting to see an actual AMV for once. I think I couldn't choose one over the other, but it is so nice to see one like this
There was a short clip in destiny otherwise I can't remember anything else that wasn't just pictures

Absolutely stunning- this moment in Evangelion history is one I will never forget.
The moment that I truly think Evangelion touched somebody who was new to the concept of such was in 1.11. My grandma called the scene beautiful, where Rei smiles for the first time. I think that this BGM captures the scenery and aftermath quite beautifully; the frantic moments of Shinji panicking to take aim, to the somber but quick end of the song as Ramiel lets out a shriek upon dying. Just pure awesomeness from Shiro once more :))) ty for sharing S2!

There’s never a guarantee repeating the same actions despite differences each try that the original result of miserable failure will be averted, but answering the call to act: there’s a certainty granted in that choice that there will eventually open the chance of success, and that chance is worth taking.
Can we all agree Eva 1.0 did the angel of doom much better than the original show? The whole buildup and preparation to the battle with it against Shinji and Rei made it truly more epic and frightening as an angel.
I didn't that these kind of version exist.
