Makes the ending of 4.0 all the more special. I know not every Eva fan likes it but I really felt it was perfect and was able to move past a lot of my own baggage too.
@@elishaj2977 I'd say they have a different approach when it comes to music. I love Sawano's works a lot too, but there's just... something about Sagisu's works that just hooks me in more than any film/anime score I've ever heard.

@Krittapob Supaphisut nah, usually i wouldn't compare sagisu to hans zimmer (sawano hiroyuki is much closer), but i agree that joe hisaishi is pretty much the japanese john williams, who could evoke the same kind of emotion, if not more than him
Shiro Sagisu recently said in context to Bleach, he writes the music as if it comes from the Soul Society. He immerses himself in the universe when creating OST. That's why no matter the media, be it anime, ova, or theatrical film, as seen with AoT and Godzilla, Shiro Sagisu is an amazing composer and honestly severely underrated and he should be utilized a lot more for Japanese media, Hell let's get him on some Hollywood films. He reminds me of John Williams with a much broader range of genres, he does rock, pop, jazz, Spanish, classical, Opera, I think you get the picture. Sagisu Sensei is man of many talents and his music can be enjoyed without any context and still get your emotions going. Sorry long comment here, but I wanted to give this man the respect he deserves.
The title perfectly fits the scene if you start playing it when Asuka initiates Backdoor Code 999. The second choir fits absolutely perfect with Asuka choosing to die making the "To shape your own destiny ... is treasure beyond belief" hit hard.
Watch the show than! It's worth the effort. Wiew order:original 1-24. Drop 25-26. Death and rebirt worth a watch, save you a rewatch before the final movie: End of Evangelion. And after this, the new movies. 1.11, 2.22, 3.33, 3.0+1.0. Recommended manga, only after the EoE: Re:Take Fanfics: Scar tissue Advice and trust.

I've left the comment way earlier than the movie came out, hence the only way I could've listened to that song was to find it on a channel like that, which I did. I'm a huge fan of Eva series, haven't read any manga though. But thank you so much for your comment, maybe it will be helpful to someone else. Also, disagree on the fact that you should rather skip 25-26 episodes, they are great in their special way. Also episodes 21-24 exist in two versions, original and director cut (adapted and extended material for an upcoming EoE, adds a few important plot details which were absent in original NGE). So I'd rather suggest watching all 26 original episodes at first, then move on to the director cut of 21-24 episodes then EoE and so on.

It would be way more accurate to assume that they still weren’t in the real world. Shinji is always at a train station when he feels terrible and alone. It’s also where he constantly questions what’s wrong with him. He leaves the train station with Mari to symbolize that he’s finally going to move forward with his life. Mari was there to pull him back to the real world. I thought this was obvious, but apparently so many have misconstrued this. “I’m happy that shinji is with Mari.” That ending wouldn’t make any sense at all. There was no romance between these two. Oh it’s a time skip? Then why’d he have the DSS choker on him? I can’t believe it man.

La verdad vi esta pelea/batalla de este Rebuild como un "Bugaloo" de efectos a lo Michael Bay pero sin esa sensación de lo que fue la Batalla contra los Eva's Series en NGE. Ya que en esta batalla se revela que NERV tenía Literalmente miles de Eva's para acabar y abrumar a WILLE, pero por alguna razón jamás los uso. Además de que el EVA de Asuka aquí es un Frankenstein horrendo. Pero sigue siendo Asuka Perfect 👌 si Khara en 3.0 no hubiera hecho eso de la Maldición del Fanservice hubieramos tenido a Asuka en cuerpazo de 28. Por lo menos aquí, en 4.0 podemos poner qué Asuka parece más una de 16-18 de baja estatura. Ya que en la vida real ahí mujeres que no pasan de 1.58 de tamaño.

@@Hartwig870 honestly yeah, most people don’t even understand the ending. “Omg, I wanted shinji to be with Asuka, but I guess he’s with Mari 😔” Like cmon, she took off his DSS choker. It would be way more accurate to assume that they still weren’t in the real world. Shinji is always at a train station when he feels terrible and alone. It’s also where he constantly questions what’s wrong with him. He leaves the train station with Mari to symbolize that he’s finally going to move forward with his life. Mari was there to pull him back to the real world. I thought this was obvious, but apparently so many have misconstrued this. “I’m happy that shinji is with Mari.” That ending wouldn’t make any sense at all. There was no romance between these two. Oh it’s a time skip? Then why’d he have the DSS choker on him? I can’t believe it man.

La verdad vi esta pelea/batalla de este Rebuild como un "Bugaloo" de efectos a lo Michael Bay pero sin esa sensación de lo que fue la Batalla contra los Eva's Series en NGE.
Ya que en esta batalla se revela que NERV tenía Literalmente miles de Eva's para acabar y abrumar a WILLE, pero por alguna razón jamás los uso.
Además de que el EVA de Asuka aquí es un Frankenstein horrendo.
Pero sigue siendo Asuka Perfect 👌 si Khara en 3.0 no hubiera hecho eso de la Maldición del Fanservice hubieramos tenido a Asuka en cuerpazo de 28.
Por lo menos aquí, en 4.0 podemos poner qué Asuka parece más una de 16-18 de baja estatura. Ya que en la vida real ahí mujeres que no pasan de 1.58 de tamaño.
